What Are Bricks for in Hoods and Hustlers LTQ?

Does anyone know what the Bricks do in the Hoods and Hustlers LTQ? Some people believe that the bricks are like the snowballs in the previous ltq but so far no one has been able to find any kind of modifier associated with the bricks. Hoping they are not just regular bricks but that's what its looking like they are. Any insight would be helpful!

They're to cut down on the number of prizes in the early stages at least. Shame they didn't just replace the useless piles of respect instead of this way.

I'm in a top 25 syndicate. Been in a top syndicate since the wars began. We were just going back and forth wondering and hoping that the gree had actually given us something useful by making the bricks like the snowballs but I guess we again gave too much credit to gree.
