Has nothing to do with James Toney. When DFA and the small OGK contingent got together to come up with a new name, we were in a kakao room where we just threw out names all day. It seriously went on for hours of nonstop name ideas. RC was the one who threw out "LIGHTS OUT" among a barrage of other names, and after about a day of names, the top few were put to a vote, and LIGHTS OUT won. LOC (Lights Out Crew) was actually almost called "Powerhouse", but Powerhouse was already taken as a name by someone not even participating in syndicate wars. Lights Out was the winner the second round of votes. "Lights Out" became a favorite with the dual knockout/turn the lights off imagery.

Because the prevailing thought amongst MOST (not all) has been that no matter how hard you pushed, FC would always push harder. If you didn't think you could ever outspend FC, you'd just be throwing $ down the drain.

Whereas in this fight, money is being thrown down the drain with prestige at stake. Also, both teams are so heavily invented now there's no turning back.

This type of fight always tends to lead to some retirements. Especially when you consider each team will probably spend in the neighborhood of $60k each on the war. AKA a really sweet car.

Hey Touch Down before I retired as an officer of lights out we helped over 40 teams finish the 24 hour SLTQ the only difference is that we did not feel the need to go and boast about it in the forums. We have also never gone into a struggling crew to "help" them finish the raid boss lvl100s and started declaring lvl 95s instead just to use their uzis and get better loot. When I was in a smaller syndicate SAS once helped us but what I thought was odd is that one of their officers came up to me later and asked me to post a thank you message on the forum. That is the primary reason you see all those messages.

I'm sure some had bonus gold, and some probably bought gold with iTunes cards bought on sale, but nonetheless, just do the math: 80Mil pts figuring that roughly 100K cost a vault equals 800 vaults. Then at $79.99 per vault, you're looking at ~$64K per each of those teams.......and then some of them are the same ones who come on here, complaining about Gree, complaining about the customer service, and complaining about issues with the game.

When you keep buying a company's product, it only sends the company the message that they are doing great!
