Hmm I have the 3 keys but I dunno if I should open them now or wait to get the other 5 then open all 8 at once. That way I won't feel too bad getting **** armors cause I'll already have aegis+.. hmm.. decisions decisions.

Will it make a diff opening all at once or one at a time or 3 then 5? What is the probability for getting good armors anyways?

Opened 22 chests when it first came out. All except one were a 2*, other was a 3*... Finally got my keys from the winter king event, even more 2 stars! Maybe next time...

ive been playing this game for well over 6+ months, since living flame? and i have capped myself on the armor i can craft, i can only get to boss armor, not the +plus version, and i have not been able to fuse or find an epic. what step am i missing for getting the next level of armor!? this blows being stuck at a stage for months with the same level armor and i see these arena guys with either plus or epics and blow me away even tho i have their weakness equipped =[

i think with the chest i got 2 forgemasters and 1 other 2*. this blows

Do u have all the bigger four. Infernal lord, dark prince, Swamp shaman and roc feather. If u have all those you should be able to beat most eb easy as long as their lvl is high

i have at lvl 70 - Adominal plaitmail, aegis of the fallen, armor of the wolf, behomoths vangaurds, and trollforge plaitmail. all just regulars, so i have some decent armors, but its not a setup i can get more than 3-5 wins in arena in a row. other wise i might gem a bit in arena. once i get to about 20-25 in epic boss they are killing me in a few hits and im doing no damage, where i rely on my freinds who have plus and epics. even then i still cant get to plus levels.

You are on one side of a debated issue...

If you read the guides here, the path is to first get the big 4 in + and max them.

After that, forum thought diverges...

The guides recommend getting the bigger 4, although almost everyone skips rocfeather. The other 3 he listed though are there; Infernal Lord+, Swamp Shaman+, Dark Prince+.

A number of people here in the forums dispute that and say to just go with EB regulars.

Personally, I went with the guides and it worked just fine. To get through the higher story zones etc., I actually had multiples of some of the big 4 to get there. Because the bigger 4 lets you work towards the +, you are getting armors with about 2000 total stats. EB regular is usually only about 1800 total stats.

While you are working through those zones work on building your friends list. Friends help a ton in getting to 43 kills.

Read the guide in the stickies by Radlonghammer about defeating the epic boss. Then, even though it's long, read the whole thread too. Understanding how to use 5/2, 4/3, and now 5/3 and 4/4 help bridge that gap in getting your first EB+.

I wouldn't regard any of the guides in the stickies as still viable at all. Current EB non-plus is almost 150 points better at level 50 than it's big4+ elemental equivalent. There is no longer a purpose to big four with the exception of getting an EB nonplus to level.

There are no Bigger4 worth leveling any longer.

The bigger four helped me tremendously getting through the eb...then I got lucky and fused a couple of epics

My first EB+ is Armor of Bear main Knight level 85 3X Infernal lord one main one fire Knight one earth knight maxed at 70+ 2 friends with infernal total 5 infernal lord amors get me to level 43

Bleh. All 9 keys I got from the war and Boss armor + crafting were ALL 2 stars >< Definitely a spirit breaker, tired of relying on nothing but EB+ armors, especially considering I seem to get matched up against nothing but Epics in the Arena now.

70/70 armors take more ep per level to level. They don't cost the same. Plus the mats for story armors should come from leveling your toon naturally.

No. But to get a crius to 50 costs the same as to get a 4* to 50.

Then you still have 20 levels to go to save for later. There is no financial reason to make a crius if you can make a glacius non-plus, regardless of level. It is economically cheaper to get the glacius to 50 and craft it, even for 75k starting price, than pay to level a crius twice.

That's not accurate. It will cost more gold because it costs more EP. Just assuming snakeskins all the way crius is 456,600 total cost. Glacius to 50 is 954,400.

Edit: Even if you add in getting level 15 to unlock crius+ that is only an added 41,600 so it's still half the cost. And...going from 50 to 70 on Glacius would be another 1,818,000. As I said, an almost exponential increase in cost from 50 up.

I have opened four winter chests and two of them were 2 star items and third one was 3 star item, all of them are craft-able i was kinda disappointed at first, however in my last chest i got my Druidic platemail, of course its not + version but still considering i am only level 58 :D its pretty awesome!

Allow me to join in your misery. Only 2-star armors from my Northerner's chests. Level 100+ with a nice collection of 4* armors but no luck on an epic yet.
