View Full Version : that hope lasted about 20 seconds

As a free/light gold player no ltq's have been worth it for a while now except for what little help i can give the syndicate in completing goals

now with the chance to prep a bit as a choice between doing the snowflake ltq or prep i had some hope i might actually get somewhere

as the title suggests that was gone in about 20 seconds. Looks like even at level 214 i'm better of not doing ltq's at all since the prizes are not worth the xp.

Lol I know how ya feel...opened the first goal, saw how many times I had to kill it, and realized why GREE didn't care if we got to prehit or not.

I have never whined about this game, but Gree has really pushed the limit on this one. Someone needs to reevaluate this game. Severe lag, repeated messages that I need to connect to the Internet when fighting boss. The LTQ is a joke.

If you can complete both the syndicate and individual you get a 220k att weapon with a 10% mafia attack

Does anyone have a list to the ltq ? The prices and how Many times to hit Them? Im thinking of the lst one with 50000 energy to use... Is it 1 or 10 times?

it's impossible to make a game everyone enjoys kiddermeister, but slowly more and more strategy is replaced by simple gold demands.

as an example the old style ltq you could(like i did) choose to skip a ltq and prep for the next one instead so you can get to the decent prizes every other ltq instead of medium prizes every single one. it was a strategic choice you could make to offset not spending gold on every single event to finish it.

right now this individual part i will most like not get further then to where i get an item equal to a middle prize from 1 boss kill.
making this ltq completely useless to do except for 1 or 2 items i can help for synd goals.

i have no problem with gold spending and getting the better stuff for that. but now you need to dump huge amounts of gold into a ltq to get something half decent, and a months pay to finish it

I get where your coming from Tommy. But realistically a free/light gold spender should not be about to get a 220K prize with 10% mafia attack

Holy f*** I was prepared to whine like a little girl about how stupid the energy cost was until I saw this...now I understand.

Tier camp harder and also selectively pick events to skip on.

As long as GREE doesn't inflate stats further, 10% mafia attack mod is pretty fair for the gold expenditure.

But I know 3 months later it will be a worthless item and a waste of money. CEST LA VIE

This is TENTATIVELY "fair".

Tentatively.

well, I'm fecked off as well...

did quite a few prehits myself

now stuck on 1st lvl 'Artist Quarter Inverno Thug' 6 hits my Rse...

I've hit it at least 8 times now on 2 accounts and it says I'm stuck on 5/6
my other 2 accounts have had about 4 hits on the Inverno Thug and they say 1/6

Thank You GREE yet another screwed up fecked up Event!!! FFS!!!

i agree ginge, but a free player will now not get further then a 1.5k item, a low gold spender might get to a 4k item

the problem is not that the grand prize is expensive, it's that it's expensive to get somewhere that gives a item that is worth the trouble.

thinking about it a bit more though the buisness model they use has becoming clear, CC is to be a game for the 1% not the 99% ;)
it's a choice, just not one that i'm happy with

No, see, that's the kicker. No matter how ridiculous the stat inflation gets, we'll have an extra 10% mod for our total attack.

Mods literally are what's saving me from becoming irrelevant to the new accounts made which wipe the boss. If this mod stays rare, and very rare at that, it's fair for the extreme price

This is the best (s)LTQ mod, as long as it stays RARE it's alright.

I found it worse that they misadvertised the last 24 hr ltq as an SLTQ

.......unless the inverno godfather ends up costing players a vault individually. I got a BAAAAAD feeling about that.

The inverno godfather costs 1000 gold. So that sucker better have a 100% drop rate. I am NOT killing him twice.

Jump around and trade points toward the goals with other syndicates and maybe, maybe you can complete the SLTQ part of this event without gold. But that prolly requires a few in your syndicate to do all 25 levels so you have something to trade with. With all the time we had to to pre-stage that shouldn't be that expensive tho.

The godfather better be 1 kill, the way it's going now, you must kill the inverno guys several times for the ltq part. I agree with the 100% drop rate for the SLTQ part. Hopefully it's a reasonable amount for the syn to collect, just incase some of your syn cannot complete it.

PedroPimples
12-26-2013, 06:21 PM
For the individual part it is one kill.
For the syn part it's about drop rate, so it may require, 5 items at say a 50% drop rate.

KingOW
12-26-2013, 06:31 PM
How many kills on Godfather for the individual part? 1 time? 2 times? 5 times?

PedroPimples
12-26-2013, 06:39 PM
You mean the final level?

That's not 100 kills. You have to hit him 100 times to kill him once.

I believe it's 5 drops.

Yeah i know its 100 hits for one kill. I was told it was 100 kills (10 000 hits lol) for final SLTQ goal tho. But I just found out that's not true, luckily. Sounded reasonable since this game is run by Gree(d).

Ooooh no, godfather better be 100% f****** drop rate.

PedroPimples

It isn't. But for individual it's kills not drops that count. So you only have to kill it once.
Syn is loot drops so you'll need a few people to finish it. Maybe 8-10 in your syn.

GREE will continue to release events where the requirements are unspecified and drop rates are not uniform. This is gambling people and the only reason it is legal is that you can't take your money back out of the game. Anyone spending real money on the SLTQ is feeding the addiction.

Get a grip and break the spell!

Yes, please stop spending money on this game....the game will be so much better if Gree doesn't have any revenues from it....

but on the bright side individual does not require the stupid items onlyn# defeats. one godfather is fair.

Many people seem to be misreading my point.
I'm not against gold spending at all, nor am i against the need to spend gold to finish something. his game has always been pay to win.

my point is that the game is starting to become so unbalanced that playing withouth spending is in some aspects no longer viable, and by that i mean that the individual part of ltq's are useless to do, a free player can gain maybe 5k stats total from it while it does give xp so it hurts your ip gathering during wars.

to give an example towards this ltq in particular:
I don't have a problem that the last part takes 50k energy, i have a problem that the early goals take absurdly high amounts of energy while giving prizes that for a lot of players actually do no increase their stats

Then skip the LTQs, no point in doing them if you won't complete it imo. To much XP for to little stat increase. It actually adds a little element of skill/tactic - to decide to do it or not.
