What would you do to spend 5000 gems?

It's been a slow day so a dumb question from me.

You wake up this morning and see a beast master + epic guaranteed if you spend 5k gems. You've been a fan of KnD for a long time and not gotten m(any) epic plus armors. So now you want it but have to spend 5k gems. You've probably spent more over the year and just got a Christmas bonus. So do you:

1) appeal to rainbow room or death knights to join and commit spending at least 5k gems in the next GW? If they accept you might have 2 epic plus armors.

2) charge into the arena and try for 1st spending 5 k gems and might win an epic plus as a reward (if too late for this arena another starts tomorrow)

3) open 5k of chests. With 5x chance of epic you might get an epic plus

4) join the latest challenger to the top guild and try for another epic plus (really low odds less than chest)

There are always other options to walk away and save 400 bucks but hey let's suppose you really enjoy KnD. There was another thought to quit the game in disgust as it has become easy to get an epic plus but really this was going to happen with the stats creep in the game.

1. i would first craft the normal version of the current epic boss, before filling up inventory space with fodder armors....

2. stock up on gems because its 40% off (8k gems should be good for you)

3. depends on how many gems you've bought, maybe a set or 2 of 40 chests (after doing 1).... with majority of the gems reserve for the wars to come.

4. overall, buying and opening chest will be faster way to spend gems... with the epics you might get from it, and the fodder to enhance, so long as you have 2 to 3million gold laying around for enhancing an epic or 2...

* Rainbow room or DK will unlike accept applicants directly to their main guilds, sub-guilds first for tryout...
** arena spend 5k gems for energy, do arena whole day long, boring i think....
*** challenge top 1 guild for epic plus rewards? not likely happening for anyone soon. unless maybe you're bLaDe or mr Eunach.... ;)

Trust me, once you have a Beast+ (or two) it wont feel worth the money spent. (Even if it was less)

I'd do the logical thing.

Power level to 100 then save some for a war and some for getting my metal achievements in arena.

Boom. Gems well spent. Achievements made. Epic+ x2
Then again I have good armors fory level

I can actually get the 5000 mark this time, with a combination of the gems being almost half off and a large amount of I tunes cards. I dropped a good chunk on the chests and will use the rest (about 2500) helping out the guild in the war.

I personally would use it all on arena. Achievement, Moontide+, BM+.

Lol. once you have 3 epic + it becomes abit boring. haha and your win rate in arena is about 95% -99%(if u always fight noobs)

Except for those times where you have 4 misses.

lol. guild war is the best imho, cuz you get the latest armor. chest is difficult cuz spending 5k doesnt guarantee a epic plus.

if u want outdated armors the 5k guarantees ones are pretty good then :/

imho guildwars are the way to go. latest most updated and likely forever limited edition armor cuz u cant fuse epic plus and u cant get guildwar armors from chest. but once u get a few epic plus it becomes a little bit boring :/

I agree with joining a top guild. Personally if it was me, I'd join a #1 guild and get 2 epic+ and then go back to my current guild. But seeing as I already have beast+ I guess I wouldn't have a reason to blow 5k gems for it...

Thats me, I joined DK because I have zero chest and fusing luck. I now have 3 plus epics from the last three wars, but they are not as good as the plus epics from the chest, so I am not done with DK.

melancholic above had better chest luck I guess and been in DK long enough he wanted to step down for a bit until Gree gets around to better war prize epics or more content.

I have spent over 5000K gems for the last 3 wars with DK, but I get a guaranteed epic plus, so of course that is my choice, get a guaranteed epic with the gems.
