Impossible Streak Battle Matchups

WTF Gree?

We match within 1-4mins every single battle except for the last battle of a streak. The final streak battle always takes 5-10mins and it is a significantly harder guild. This is just about as sketchy as the odds on the box events. Can anyone else attest to this so we can get a larger sample size?

Same here. 3rd time on 6/6. The match ups have been impossible (no one we can even beat with a power attack) all three times and it's taken at least twice as long to find a match each time

yes, seems like Gree has altered their programming to match guilds waiting on the last win of their streak. The last win on our streaks has always been close and hard fought battles. Met the Dragon Warriors too many a time

But we gave up already in believing this game is unbiased. It's one big manipulated game and we try to live with it and accordingly spend much less as in the past.

Yes same for us. Every time its a streak coming we get a very difficult and sometimes impossible guild. But this is not new. It has been this way at least 2-3 wars now.

Same here I've come up three times so far this weekend against ridiculous matchups,that are so far off it impossible even hitting castle.gree obviously wants us to,buy gems for these matches im about done with grees bs all together 12 accounts 3 games and all the same crap.f u gree you wont see another dollar from me,and as you watch more and more players retire you have know one to blame but yourself.youve gone and ruined the a little bit more whicjph seems is all you know how to do.F U gree!!!

But overall the matchups have been ok for us. Every 4-5 battle you get a splinter impossible to beat which means you cant get more than 4 or 5 win streaks. But if you win the rest you are able to get 50 wins anyway which is our main goal. But of course it costs gems. You cant get far without it.

What's a winning streak? So far, the best we have done is a "Toronto Maple Leaf" winning streak, in other words, 1.

The last 9 wars we have gone 0/9, and they were not even close in strength. Before that, the pattern was 1 very strong, 1 very weak, 2 very strong, 1 very weak ... Some of our players have stopped participating. Oh well, at least we are saving gems.

I thought it was well known that the matching algoritim is based upon whether you won last time, who you were matched against last time and other mysterious factors. So it should be expected.

I feel the need to say we just got matched against a fairly easy guild for a 6 streak award, so at least we know that happens also.

We have only gotten one completely impossible match-up this war. Samurai Blood vs. a guild of 9 accounts - yeah, RIGHT, Gree, a team with literally TEN TIMES our strength, that's... "fair"? :rolleyes: But miraculously they came right after we finished a streak.

However, on 7/8 they gave us a guild of LLPs with TONS AND TONS of gems, and no targets that would yield any of us more than 75-150 CP on average. The idea being we are supposed to, everyone in my guild, buy a mountain to each spend it all on this one battle, where the guild who put up 60k on us in 10 minutes can see us coming a mile away, and all waste that mountain each in utter futility.

We said NO.

Gree matched us in a way clearly intended to force us to buy gems. Instead, FRACK the streak thing. We may never try again. Were it not very clearly rigged, we'd have bought more gems to get the great prize. But it is DIRTY and we will not participate in that.

And this is why I see so many Top guilds going back to old school fighting again, and going for Top rank position and not worrying about the wins. It is actually more fun, and a hell of a lot less stressful. Nice to get some sleep too. ;)

It is my opinion that only the biggest whales standing up to Gree / asking Gree for anything will cause Gree to listen. The rest of us are flies to be swatted away. 190 flies do not come close to making a whale. They don't give a rat's ass. They probably do give a Ratma's ass, though. ;) lol, Ratma.

Irrespective of GM truth or Not, it does give a broader insight into the path which a certain company that i used to play n play is going down, i am glad that i no longer give them my "ass" to sqaunder money from.
i am better for it and wish i had done this sooner, it pains me to still see huge amounts being poured into this .
look at all the issues and bugs since Gree took over !

I am glad that Joan of Arc, Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Jr., Nelson Mandela, Winston Churchill, and many more didn't think they were flies to be swatted away. ;)

But I agree with others...if you don't take a stand and stance, then you can't complain any longer... Better to have tried and failed, then to not try at all... That is what GREE is hoping for...

very frustrating with how the matches and the wins have been. Each time we managed to get close to a unit we get some top ten. Our wins are balanced with our losses though and it seems like we win one,lose one then win two- lose two- lol... not sure. Though in the last 12 hours we have only fought the top ten guilds one after the next... Only needed one more win for another unit.

Our record is intact. Longest winning streak for this weekend is 1. Pretty well spent the entire time with major mis-matches. We would win one, against a low guild with low levels and then lose three against either a splintter group or a top 25. Ending up with just under 3 times as many losses as wins. Only two wars were well matched with targets that we were actually able to hit and that payed out more than 225 CP.

We fight non stop but matching is so slow we only got 53 fights in total! 5 of them against RK who were engaged when we declared but ten minutes or more later finished, declared and yep ... You know the rest!!

Rather, when people are near the end of streaks, they are matching them in a way most likely to produce GEM USE. The best way to do that is to match another streaker. Failing that, matching them with a guild many times stronger might work so they try that.

For example, our first 8-streak attempt was ruined not by a Top 10 team, but by a team of players with comparable stats, but who were obviously high on a streak themselves. The only way we could have fought them off is if we had spent a mountain each, maybe it'd have taken two. Their stats were not superior to ours. The only way they were superior to us was in thickness of wallet. They were clearly quite afraid of us because they put up 60k in first 10-15 minutes. That had to have been expensive for them, considering the targets we presented. If Gree had given them an easy match then, and given them us when they were on 0/9, Gree would have gotten hardly any gems from them. In that battle, we chose to stand down rather than spend a couple hundred buck each. While we went 0-1, and the other team went 1-0, Gree went 1-1.

Near the end were again given a heavy-gemming team near the end of a streak and this time we spent the money. They tried to keep up with us for about 40 minutes, driving our score about 15x higher than our average match. Gree won that one, 2-0.

Wasn't in the same guild as Zen, but our worst matchups were on low streaks, we spent 3 battles on 0/9 because we ran into Fun 3 and the snowflakes. Then 9 battles in a row with Guild guardians which could be beaten by my relatively low stats.
