The boss has gone up by a good amount. 3% from last month. This is the highest jump since Leviathan.

Not to mention this being a fire/water, which is hard to come by until recently. Also there is a special event for keys and Daegis+ going on. It only makes sense that they make it harder without EE drops.

I've gotten 15 epic energy from killing the boss as drops, they arent removed.

I havent received epic energy drops yet and im on 11 after 5 hours.

Armor is only 70 points below moontide reg.
Overall looks like a very nice piece to own.

Mael destroys boss also so that will help.

Edit : At boss 37 and the boss has dropped EE 3-4 times so far. Not to bad considering the faster energy recharge times.

I'm guessing Gree figured less energy drops equals more people gemming. And what's a better time to try this out than during a boss collection, not to mention showing ones true colors during Christmas? It's the season for lumps of coal, after all.

Perhaps its just me, but if anything, this demotivates me even further to even think about buying gems.

Got no energy drops at all. I got to level 10 before bedtime, and woke a couple of times in the night (thanks to my toddler son) to get to 15 before breakfast, but I've never had zero drops in the first 15 levels before.

Well, I think I can make it to 60. just gotta really work hard on leveling my Abominable+, but still keeping enough armors for next EB. But since I have 20 enchanted keys, 25 silver keys, and tons of arena armors, it should be doable. I also have 5 fusion boosts if necessary.

For the third one, I would consider just making sure and using the 26 gems early on and getting those 30 energy so it puts you ahead about one days worth. Ill be in the 40s tomorrow now instead of Saturday, so puts me about one day ahead....for a cost of 26 gems

That does make sense.... then I won't have to worry about doing it later, when friends may be a problem. I'll have to see elements, but I might just do that.

thats what im doing :) I wohld now as well, but not sure if I can make 60 after all... my 3rd is atlantean. Could replace with abominable, but low level, and I want to keep armors for final boss. If only I knew the elements.....

Im using one friend now each time lvl 34 to 43 this 24 hours if I could get some energy drops. So far NONE. Crossing my fingers.

I am so glad I got a fast start with gems. Come on...at least one drop of energy, so I can at least use all 10 friends and they dont go to waste. Otherwise I wouldn't get to 43 this 24 hours, maybe not 42 either. ..come on drop drop drop. I need some luck with energy drops.

Ive gotten to 40s by Saturday morning before without gemming, so Im barely ahead of old rate now, losing ground as no energy drops for me.

Same is happening to me, I've gotten EE drops almost every single victory after 43. I'm 8 away from 60 now, this is one of fastest bosses I've gone through cause of all the late EE. Weird.

I have gotten 1 drop of EE on my 35th kill. Thats it. Im at 52 now.

Im on 51 kills witbout spending gems and with only one energy drop tje whole time. If u think about it, the faster regen time is almost like a drop of 2 energy every time once u need 5 people. It takes 4 hoirs 10 minutes from 0-10 now insteqd of 5 hours. At first it bothered me about the less frequent drops, but i would rather recharge 50 minutes faster from 0-10 energy.

From 38-58 I've gotten about 5 ee drops. 1-37 I got none. They do seem to be dropping more frequently at higher levels now instead.

Thats been close to my experience, maybe we are in different time zones? lol. I stay up to do "just one more" after midnight...and the last two nights I get 5 energy dropped to tempt me to stay up and do "just one more" ....noooooo.

lucky getting EE... Lucky...

wasted 2chances with killing boss, because my hire friends was wearing their adventuring armors (fire and alot of spirt)
for almost 2 hours restarting phone, router, modem... ugh...

Twice on this boss I've woken up at 2 or 3am to take a leak, so I grab my phone before going back to bed to get a kill in, and THAT is when he'll actually drop energy. >.<
