Ideal / Best Line Up

Hi Everyone,

Just wondering, what is your best/ideal line up?

Currently I'm running Krestman (+) MK, Blazestone (+) and Meals (+).

MK= Main Knight.

Been doing pretty well in arena. Almost unstoppable! :)

Mealstrom is still one my favorites. Not much counter for it currently, only tectonic counters it but the plus version can stand up to the regular version pretty well. Only other armors that can go toe to toe with meals is Aborsteel and Krestman.

Beastmaster is nice too but i feel like there is alot fire armors out there recently. Blazebourne, Aegis and Blazestone.

How does it fare in arena or GW?

So far it works pretty well. I counter many fire armors that easily kills my BM but my Mael+ makes up for it. In average i win about 5/6 - I think. Havent done any research but its definitely close.

In GW i always go for GM's which are mostly easy targets.... Weaklings who just made a guild to get the 10% stats bonus, so i really havent noticed any challenge with my setup. I have tryed using other setups but this has proven to be the best i could pull with my current armors.

Earth armors almost gone from arena and people use fire atm. So, its quite decent.

It's gambling you can't know if your enemy will use tec or blaz .. and now everyone has 3 epics ..
so nothing can be invincible ..

anyways i've fought quite alot of Rkal+ and it doesnt measure up against EPIC's that well.

if i had the choice i will play Krestman+, Aborsteel+ and Meals+

I'm running sky majesty, maelstrom (MK), tectonic. Vulnerable to earth setups, otherwise does well. I'm hoping to fuse forgestone aegis and replace sky majesty with it to counter earth armors at front.

I run with Blazeborne, Witches Robes and Moontide, it's got a pretty good variation and i haven't got any other epics yet. I still win a lot of my battles though, probably 4/5.

Assuming I don't know what the other player is wearing I like to go with a defensive armor up front. The intent is to absorb the first few hits and get a power attack from second knight.

So preferred 1st knight - tectonic + or krestman

Second knight is big hitter with commander. Hopefully can kill one or two opponents and damage the third. I assume that first knight will be killed as opponent hits first

So preferred 2nd knight - mael, currently I use arbor +. Mael was favourite before. And commander

Third knight should be another big hitter. But I assume that whoever killed my arbor+ must have spirit to have killed the arbor. So I use a fire armor.

So preferred 3rd knight - sky majesty +.

I also only have few epic plus so work with what I have.

What can we say - couldn't imagine the day that we miss some of the sparkles and king marks of the world. Need some rivalries. But I guess the rainbow was too good.

RKal+, BBorne, Maelstrom, all maxed. I win a lot of battles. Losing becomes strictly a chance game of wrong elemental matches. I'd like to get my hands on a couple Epic + versions, but for the time being, I'm happy.

Maelstrom/Blaze/Tectonic+(MK) Only time i ever lose is if someone gets a lucky dodge in a largely spirit formation. Ran through 6 times in a row without a loss, finally my fingers were cramping so had to take a break.

Right now I have Rkal+, Sky, and Mael. Works decently well so far. I've been pretty satisfied with Rkal+. Unfortunately I don't do arena really anymore except for the uncommons. I spent 10 gems once for a refill and instantly started missing 3-4 times a battle and just said screw this =/

hello, I recently started killing eb and obtaining legendary armor. I recently got lucky and got a non+ Red Kal and a non+ Maelstrom iron. I was thinking of using Red Kal as my main and the Maelstrom Iron for my 2nd. my third commander hopefully be an eb+ armor one daybut as of right now regular eb armor.

Would this be an ideal set up for arena and guild wars? Since these are my two best armors and the Red Kal is non elemental? Or wouldit be better for me to just use maelstrom on my main knight? opinions?

If these are by far your best armors id say go for what you do now as Rkal is really strong and makes you look like a fashionista. When you get more eb+ or epics you might want to reconsider (but thats based on jusat my arena experience, lot of guys raping my rkal)

I run a Devoted (+), Blazestone, and my Main Knight has Forgestone (+) which has been doing pretty well. I've never really understood the idea of putting the Main Knight in front. Granted, Melancholic, your Kerstman does have some seriously good defense so in your situation it makes some sense. For others however, it's much different.

i'd be curious to know what the best armor to use in arena is? like start air/rock or start water/fire? be nice to have a list that works best the majority of the time.. i know this isn't a 100% but a safe start.. specially for newer players

lol. most ppl end up working to what is the strongest armors they have. if u have 3 pluses, its pretty hard to lose to counter elements as well.

this is because in arena, your opponent doesn't get his rank /guild bonuses. thats why its alot easier to beat top players but not in guildwars.

there is no best element as every element has a counter but you could argue that the best element is the elements which have the least counters within the epic category. but having considered that you would have to consider the epics in tiers as some of the old epics have so low stats as compared to the new ones.

anyways with 3 pluses your win rate will be pretty much close to 95% except for those occasional misses and it does get pretty boring winning all the time :p

been testing it out quite abit and it doesnt fair as other +.

Personally i have run krest+, blazestone+ and meals + and it fares alot better than having a BC+ around.

The defense on that armor seems a little too low to make it viable. but well i guess if u dont have other pluses then BC+ would be good.

What tends to work is using counter elements
as example:
If u use tect first. Any spirit beats it. So using a fire as second helps. But thats just how I roll my line up in arena. I tend to barely lose with my line ups like that.
