How do you get revenge battle in the new arena? [Archive]

Ever since the new arena, i never see an option for a revenge battle.
the third quest of the arena quest is to engage 5 revenge battles.

problem is, they removed revenge. how do you do this quest and get 3 gems?

No seriously, just once though. There were 3 on my list, all three were the same named opponent wearing beastmaster. Fought one, lost it I think, then they were all gone. Haven't seen one since. That was last tuesday...

Still no sign of revenge battles. Hope is fading fast. The quests, they elude me. Each fight I see the revenge battle modifier. It lies cold and empty, taunting me with its presence. If anyone gets this message, send revenge battles, I don't know how much longer this frustration must last. If there are no revenge battles soon, we may have to eat the fat one...

I said revenge battles were nowhere to be found after the 1st day of the new arena.
Having a choice of just 5 blind options as opponents is as stupid as it gets.

Must be a mistake from GREE. Hopefully they update quest, so we can complete it soon.

Also SMS quest doesn't work yet either. I send sms and got 1 more referral, but quest not complete.

I had three revenge battles the other day. All three of them were on my friend list and friend battles me previously. I got my revenge on all three and the revenge bonus was 50%

Gree already gave us 5 gems (android). so they would give us a quest that gives us 3 gems which is impossible to complete.

Post a screen shot of how you engage in a revenge battle and I'll believe you. Otherwise I call BS.

Ah come on GREE, bring back the revenge battles for the new guys' quests. I know that before you uses to put any random high level who didn't attack you on the revenge list, but for the sake of em' bring it back for everyone!

OK, there's a link to quest showing I've had one revenge battle.

More when I get them, I haven't really been trying so far.

They just pop up, like they used to, at the top of your rivals list.

The only way to get far in Arena now is to gem, this was always the case, but now you can't even do "decently" in Arena without gemming.

Any one care to make a "guide" for the new arena? I have never performed this bad in arena before. Even when checking in every 9 min.

Reading so often that people gets spammed with armors and keys that they nearly get sick of it. Are you all gemming?

Those that are doing well are gemming. There is an early'ish sweetspot when you can get a bunch of keys and energy for hitting milestones so that can reduce the amount of gems required but that will dry up and then it becomes a question of how much you want to spend.

what a guild mate found out and has been using to obtain higher Arena rank with minimum gem usage is the following

You start off with 5 energy, use 1 attack then wait till the streak timer reaches 2 mins left then attack again till you get to 6 streak, you should get 2 free energy. Attack and wait till 2 mins left on timer each time ( should be up to 9-10 streak ). Then purchase 10 energy keep attacking till 4 energy left and go back to waiting till streak timer is @ 2mins.

I Tried this after the launch of the new Arena, went from rank 25K'ish to 1500'ish in less than an hour(almost 26k points). A lot of the gems i used came from free ones videos/game downloads so no loss there

My theory is that the revenge battles used to be anyone who attacked you. Now it's only people who defeat you. Coupled with the increased miss and critical rate of opponents that just ends up being significantly less people. Somewhere the fetch and retrieve that "cycles" out the revenges so that they're more "apt" to you is coming up zilch because of the so few choices.

Last week, i spent no gems, fought friends every day except once and arena battles pretty often, waiting until the streak timer was almost up and fighting again.... I got 3,400. I'll take it, but I used to be able to get under 1000th with no gems. It is definitely a lot harder now.

Well, yesterday I spent about 12 hours waiting to get attacked, with just one knight in my team wearing basic level 1 armor. Pretty much anyone who attacked me should have beaten me, but I got no more revenge battles. Maybe nobody attacked me, or maybe they did but the frequency of triggering revenge battles is very low.

Certainly they can happen, but the odds are low, and I don't think I'm going to make this third quest at this rate. Thank goodness it wasn't the first quest, as has happened in the past.

If GREE are paying attention, hopefully they'll tweak the odds of spawning a revenge battle soon.

I can't really agree that I'm doing worse in the new arena than before. Yes I'll get a lower rank, but that's just one of the three reward systems. Overall I'm getting tons more useful fusion material than before, and should easily top the 21,000 point milestone. I can't play as much as I used to as I'm working 12 hour days until the end of the year, yet i'm getting more armors, so what's the problem?

I'm pretty sure they will fix this quite soon since revenge works in IOS from what i understand from other posts. You assume that it is an easy fix, maybe it is, maybe it isn't.

RIGHT AFTER THE ARENA ENDED I RECEIVED A REPLY TO THE EMAIL I SENT THEM ABOUT THE ARENA. I SAID

Oxilated, I got the same reply, word for word, when I said I was having trouble gemming a couple wars ago, that the connecting thing would spin high speed and use my gems and lose the fight...

I too was like wtf, what do you mean am I still experiencing this issue ..I got it during the next war and say yes, 5 minutes ago. So, I replied and they said if this is a google wallet issue, please contact google ..I had to write back a 3rd time and say ...please read, I got the gems I bought, I am having trouble using them, this is a gree issue.

Seems like GREE is going through what companies with sudden rapid growth goes through - a suddenly overwhelmed administrative and customer support department. Hopefully they know what to do (apology, compensation, etc) after they have resolved this issue.

Customer support training, for GREE staff members.

Probably NEW at responding to queries and some of them could be lazy. So just copy and paste preset responses. Maybe temp. staff or partimers. Idk.

I suspect that gree is too cheap to actually pay for separate support staff. I wouldnt be surprised if they lumped this task upon the developers who are probably already busy doing other things.

I just enter arena I found one of my friends in revenge list , he can't even defeat one knight and he is the only one I saw in revenge , I thought there is no revenge what's going on ? Really I'm totally confused !!

I found out how to get revenge in new arena .. Remove anyone from your friends and go to arena ,, revenge in new arena is personally ^_^

No big deal for you , but for me that really booooooooooring me , in old aren I use to wake up and find on my revenge list " chef of rr,narato ,etc top players " now I can't have my fun in this game , I don't mind to lose but also I don't like to win against someone can't defeat one knight ..so gree please fix it ;(
