Lost my hood while collecting money?!?

Yup, lost my hood again. This time not because of reinstalling or whatever.
Crime City was running in the background, and I reentered it to collect my 8-hour buidlings and then I noticed the following:

I did have my hood, with the 8-hour buildings ready to collect, but, I saw my energy was full with a mere 130 points in it, while I normally have +2,000 energy when the bar is full!

So, that was strange, but I thought it was a glitch. Turned in for the night and when I woke up this morning I had to start Crime City (I never stopped it in the first place!) and I saw I had an "Alex's hood" at lvl2!!!

Oh man, I sure hope Customer Support will be quicker this time helping me out, the last time it took them almost 2 weeks to answer and solve it!!

ROFL Don't people realize yet that posting on forum does not speed anything up? They just ignore the thread and the support team takes care of it when your number comes up. Just do not send in more then one ticket or you delay the guy behind you. less tickets = best customer service :D

Don't think so. People who are banned see a "there is a problem with your account" message when they try to log in, if I remember right. Does anybody get banned now?

Yesterday finally got my account back and I started Crime City.

Long story short, I am hacked!

My whole hood is gone, all gold gone, all banked money gone and I am placed in another syndicate called MIAMI ELITES.
So, replied to customer support. Now to see what will happen....
If nothing happens, then this is the end for me with this game....

Alex is a default name given to accounts where either a name was not chosen at the start, or more often because someone's name fell foul of the censors. There's not many repellent names - usually its juvenile smut - but only takes one person to complain.

feel sorry to know about ur account spidey .. what can i say, got nothing good to say about gree .. they're just way too incompetent to do anything .. dont understand what kind of programmers they have who can't just stop such things from happening. if i were you, i'd contact google/apple and request an entire refund for all the money spent till date. really, i'd get that pissed!

Don't give your UDID to anyone and don't forward/screenshot entire tickets. I believe they changed it now, but in the past your code was in every ticket and could be used by anyone with a UDID faker.

Hi all,

An update:
I had to list every building I had. Well, who knows every building and corresponding lvl? I certainly don´t.
In every mail I told them I am hacked, that I lost +700 Gold, lost +3.5B ingame money, lost all buildings worth of +8M IPH and that I am placed in another syndicate.

Just now I get a reply from Customer Support, one sentence didn´t feel right from that reply:


.....It seems that you have accidentally sold all the buildings and the account was not hacked.......

I am not hacked??
I sold by accident every building I had????

And what is stupid, Customer Support has indeed restored partially my buildings ON THE RIGHT SPOT and seemingly with the right lvl. Why couldn´t they just restore every building???
And why still no +3.5B ingame money in my bank and +700 Gold??

And still no answer how I could have been hacked. What´s the point of playing this game if hackers just can hack you when they want?
This is not worth the time, effort and REAL money I put into this game!

Quiet you Gree shill. Maybe OP was just venting as well as looking for anyone else who had that experience. This is a public forum where people do that from time to time.

What's with this "do not send in more than one ticket" nonsense. Clearly, you haven't been playing these games very long. A ticket per day is necessary... As 80% of the time the first several tickets will get a response having nothing to do with the issue---- such as "It looks like you're on an old data set. Please close the app and restart"

The only way to get anything done is to send a ticket until someone who isn't swinging from the trees and picking tics off their coworkers answers.

You may not have been hacked OP.

It could be a glitch including an issue MW had more than 6 months ago. Accounts were swapped almost at every startup with some ppl. It took a little over 6 months for one person I know to get the correct Av back. By that time that powerful Av was returned, it was relatively underpowered and a waste of the time, effort and considerable $ put into it. As a result it was recently nuked.

OP, its important to post these things here. If we see a trend then something will be done about it. At least we know if it's a once only event, or more widespread. Good job on posting OP.

She lost her account, got an "Alex-account" instead and now she has the same problems as I am having with her real account.

That syndicate member of mine has exactly the same problems!
She lost all buildings, every gold and ingame money and she is placed in that same syndicate as I found myself in when I got my account back, MIAMI ELITES.
So it seems that syndicate should be looked at by some Gree member, right?

I personally still waiting for the Games Specialist to reply to me, so at the end I haven't played this game from early December last year now!
I guess my stats are way outdated by now.
Maybe really time to quit the game....

Hi I would like to defend my syndicate Miami Elite as was, now called mergers and mayhem. First of all Mr Spidey has a personal beef with the former leader of the syndicate. Second I have had my old account magrat I believe stolen or hacked, it had a lot of money saved. I to went into the game to suddenly find myself called Alex in another syndicate. I have raised a ticket and am still waiting to hear if I can have my account back which I worked hard on for almost a year. Thirdly Mr Spidey sent some ghost accounts in to our syndicate to mess up our last war and then cause havoc on our groupme sites that we had to clear them out and start new ones. I don't know why this guy is trying to destroy our syndicate or try to blame us for his account when the same thing happened to me and 1 more weird thing we have never had an Alex in our group, very strange Mr Spidey

Something almost like this happened to me... I came back into the game and I lost a lot of my ltbs so I sent a message to grew and they got most of my regular buildings back and all of my ltbs back so I guess I am lucky. But hope everything goes well with your account. I'd be supper mad too.

Clearly some hacking going on. If two synd members lost their accounts, then found themselves both in the same syndicate, it would appear they're hacking your accounts, donating all your cash to the synd, selling off all your buildings & donating to the synd... then probably using your gold to assist them in completing the raid boss as much as they can.

That's just what it sounds like....

Get screen shots of city (including building levels) & cash/gold on hand.. Even though this is probably a fairly isolated incident..

Again an update:

As I am not monitoring the forum regularly, I didn't see magrat's response. Don't know this person and don't care. I've already put in this thread what happened with me, nothing more, nothing less.

The situation is as follows: I got a part of my money buildings restored, didn't get restoration of the 3.5 billion ingame money and +700 Gold and am still missing 1M IPH worth of money buildings.
Still didn't get an answer how I was hacked and what I can do to prevent it from happening again.

My syndicate member also got her account back, she already rejoined our syndicate (I still didn't because I wait the full restoration from Gree). She is also missing her ingame money, Gold and some moneybuildings.

I will, yet again, start a new ticket because it seems I only get a reaction if I create new tickets....

Been a while, but this is the last update from me about this issue.

Contacting Gree support with new tickets do work. Unfortunately for me I´ve hit a brick wall.
No help at all for restoring my stuff and getting answers on how to prevent from being hacked again.

So, to make it short, I'm quitting Crime City. I can't play a game where you can be hacked and there is no sufficient help from customer support.
