Man I hate cheaters but if I can hit a certain target so many times a minute and it refills my energy bar than I'm gonna take advantage of it.

From my understanding it was a energy glitch that has been fixed in the last update. As for exploits I am sure there is someone out there now just trying to find an exploit......let's be honest GREE stands for greedy so can you blame people for trying .....some say yes others say no I am kind of on the fence. Bro I get the shaft in every way possible in this game. I don't see how it could get much worse. I'm now down to pretty much a free player so it really don't matter to me now. I'll throw down for some kills at wartime for my faction and possibly compete in future 24hr events if there are no drop rate issues. But the Gold program member I used to be has left the building.

If its the same hack indeed, that was fixed in MW about 1-2 months ago. I've had it verified by a few people who could do it, and then now can't.

I'm not defending Gree at all as I think someone there is specifically trying to create the worst online game experience possible, but I really don't attribute this not to poorly designed game. You had to specifically aim for this exploit and there's not a gaming platform online that hasn't fallen prey to similar hacks. Remember the "Standby" glitching? Same principles.


Technically it isn't a hack it is exploiting a poorly designed game. It has been going on in CC for months with no end in sight and in KA well before that. It ruins the game quickly. It works best in CC on ios7. May work at times on some android devices and not at all on others. It allows you do complete anything energy based without using gold and for those of us unable or unwilling to use the exploit we have fallen way behind. So either exploit or quit. I'm very close to quitting in CC because my once strong acct loses ground every time Gree puts on another energy event. I will not go into details on how it works because I don't think anything about it is fair and I don't use it myself. I really hope this sickness has not spread to MW.

People will always find glitches in games and hack them as well. MW is special because of the amount of real money being spent. Android has a glitch/cheat for infante energy, with minimal effort and no outside software needed. It be cool to look at android vs iOS users that completed recent LTQ events or FLTQ participation levels. So if u can prove this and spent a lot of money to get ur recent units on iOS I'd contact apple for a refund. This is a baby example of the unfairness and hacking of this game at an elementary level. Never play this game to compete with others stats, you will only be putting your money in a non returning slot machine. If want to compete in a game for skill or who's better, play a consol game on LAN, where money dosent win or make you a better player. Out of all the games I've played this one is the worst for fairness, as gree profits greatly from things like this. Play this game for what it is... Just my two cents.

Actually, this just happened to my LLP. Said I got raided for $100+ million but I didn't have any raidable buildings and there were no raid icons on any of my buildings. I had to run off to work before I could investigate further but something seemed fishy.

Also a hack of how to get your boost buildings immune from IOS players using a certain tactic...read it on a wall in game, and sure enough, while I could see the buildings, I could not touch them. (of course it was a player from a top 3) When does it stop?

This was one of the first faction LTQs where the XP gain was insane. Our faction beat the entire faction prestige and nobody gained any XP by doing exactly what you're referring to. We brought in newly created genymotion/bluestacks accounts, and could level them to 50 in about an hour using all stat points for energy, and using all energy to hit the necessary target. Never had to refill energy with gold, because the XP gains launched you through the levels and gave you refreshed energy each time.

This was not a hack, this was not a glitch, this was not cheating, and this was not against any TOS. GREE set the XP requirements for each target, and we were smart enough to figure out that if we brought in newly created accounts, we could let them do all the work for free. We laughed the whole way through this event while everyone else was on here complaining relentlessly. This was probably the only time an actual strategy that I can think of besides tap tap tap that was used to get a leg up on the competition. Don't hate because your faction didn't figure this out lol.

That being said, I don't think it's possible to do anymore. GREE lowered the XP for all targets after this event and I doubt we'll ever see something like that again.

We don't have an explicit bounty on this kind of thing. We'd be flooded with reports that weren't actually an issue, and those reports take time to investigate. We have in the past rewarded players for helping us solve a MAJOR issue of some kind, but that was usually after a long process of back and forth on something that we could not see the mechanism for on our side of things.

You might have been robbed earlier and the server didn't report it properly at the time, or the other player actually got a fail notification but you got an incorrect "robbed" notification (we've seen that in-house a couple of times but haven't been able to consistently reproduce).

I reported with a ticket two weeks ago about players being able to stack buildings on top of each other to save on land costs while still being able to collect and upgrade them all. Yesterday I received a reply back saying my software was not up to date as the response. Well my software was up to date when I sent the ticket in and it never addressed the issue. I sent in screen shots too and the email was not even read.

How can you fix anything if you do not even read the email and go straight to see of my software is up to date?

99% of the reports we get now aren't actually anything except a misunderstanding or a known bug that we already have a fix in the pipes for. Increasing that exponentially by offering a formal bounty rather than informal gifts of thanks would not be helpful. And at least now we don't have people mass-reporting others or every single little thing in the hope that ONE of them would be a hit and that they would get something. We need quality info on these kinds of things, not quantity.

Second to Gree consistently messing up every event, this is the reason I will never spend another cent on this game, I used to be a gold program member... no more. There have been glitches\exploits out for months, the fact that Gree can't automatically detect these blatant exploits is ridiculous. Someone spending 100,000 energy and no gold within a day, how hard would it be to write a script to automatically detect this? 15 minutes of work? Probably.

It's clear they either don't care or just don't have the know-how to properly program the game. It sounds to me like the competent developers of this game left a few months ago and no one currently employed there has any clue how to manage the existing code. I can't think of another explanation for the constant f*ck ups and lack of fixes to known issues (WD match ups, scaling of boss events, no confirmation on gold purchases, tons of android issues, list goes on, and on.).

Gree has always made one thing abundantly clear, and that is they value the dollar more than their customers. This will be their downfall and I'll be sitting here watching it happen from the sidelines laughing.

The msg idea is funny but your right it would appear at the wrong time. My son sometimes has modern war open on his ipad when we leave the house so whatever msg would appear would pop up on his screen then...

Can you just tell me this please.

1. What would the benefit be in sending 'rude messages' from the company to its customer base of Males, Females, adult and children.

2. Would there have been the potential for these 'rude messages' to be sent to someone who looses WiFi connection through no act on their part as happens often in some areas?

3. Why can't a screen simply appear that says 'Server Connection Error' and disallows further interaction until it's restored. This happens when trying to enter the faction when the WiFi drops out.

4. You say we will lose any progress made should our connection drop out. How do we know if our connection drops out when in-game. I think it wise that we should stop trying to advance if this happens, however we won't know. At least I can't identify that once in-game with the exception of it dropping out when entering the faction.

5. Reference 4 above: How much of our wasted progress will we lose. The server updates every 60 seconds for me. Does that mean I will potentially lose all progress after the inevitable drop outs, plus up to 60 seconds of actual WiFi access progress?

6. What of my energy. Is my energy reduction restored to the moment the drop-out happened or will I lose all energy expended from the moment the drop out happened plus potentially up to 60 seconds of WiFi connected energy use. For a energy sapping target there can by heavy use in seconds.

7. If we regen using money (game gold) will I still lose that regen as in #6 above.

8. If our WiFi drops out during energy use on targets and then seconds later connects again (we won't know this is happening) then what happens to our progress and energy use during that period and potentially up to 60 seconds before the drop out? Will I see an immediate reset every time this happens or will I simply continue and later find that everything is reset?

9. Depending on the company answers to the above, will this actually enhance customers experience of this game or is there a significant risk of reducing it?

I don't think 'rude messages' from the company is the smartest idea irrespective of the reason the WiFi isn't connected.

I don't think we need to call anyone retarded.

To clear up the confusion: there's a thing you can do that looks like it gives you a bunch of energy. It actually doesn't; everything you do with that energy gets taken away/reset/never actually given in the first place. The thing we're changing in an update is to make it so that it doesn't even *look* like it works at all so there won't be all these confusing games of telephone.

Also, Speak Easy, we definitely wouldn't ever put anything rude in the game; it's just funny to think of someone trying to cheat and getting a "Hahaha, nice try!" message. And you're right, that's why they'd see that message. The server can't tell whether or not someone is intentionally triggering that, just that the game is trying to do something it can't/shouldn't.

I thought I read somewhere in this thread, which I now can't find, that the WiFi is switched off and on in some fashion so the used energy regen is accelerated. I may have misunderstood.

If that is what happens then what happens to the advances made and energy when using the legitimate energy after WiFi drop out should that occur? Refer to my questions above.

I understand any accelerated energy regen not being usable, but ONLY so far as it's accelerated and not what normally regens. But I am uncertain about the initial legitimate energy as in my post above as it relates to LEGITIMATE players ONLY.

ISO: Attack whatever you have to till you have 20 energy left, turn airplane mode on and finish off the remainder 20 energy then log outta the game, after 15-20 mins turn wifi back on and log back into the game = full energy.

No matter how "good" the devs think they are at detecting what others are doing, or how well they think they bullet proof stuff.....when you have hundreds of thousands of folks playing a game, I can guarantee you some of those players are so far ahead of you that they can even fool you into thinking the exploits aren't actually there. I think the fact is that Gree obviously doesn't take action against all the people exploiting the glitches and they clearly have no interest in knowing about or fixing them. If you were aware of a glitch that tons of other people were using, would you take advantage of it? I sure as hell would. If all these people are exploiting a glitch for unlimited energy, why would I pay hundreds of dollars just to get the same prize when they pay nothing?

Second to Gree consistently messing up every event, this is the reason I will never spend another cent on this game, I used to be a gold program member... no more. There have been glitches\exploits out for months, the fact that Gree can't automatically detect these blatant exploits is ridiculous. Someone spending 100,000 energy and no gold within a day, how hard would it be to write a script to automatically detect this? 15 minutes of work? Probably.

It's clear they either don't care or just don't have the know-how to properly program the game. It sounds to me like the competent developers of this game left a few months ago and no one currently employed there has any clue how to manage the existing code. I can't think of another explanation for the constant f*ck ups and lack of fixes to known issues (WD match ups, scaling of boss events, no confirmation on gold purchases, tons of android issues, list goes on, and on.).

Gree has always made one thing abundantly clear, and that is they value the dollar more than their customers. This will be their downfall and I'll be sitting here watching it happen from the sidelines laughing.

Oh yeah...and one last thing...trust what this guy is telling you. I have no doubt that he could rewrite the game code inside of an hour to fix most of your problems. Lol. Give him 10 minutes and he'll write a script to play the game automated once an hour to collect buildings and hit targets. I watched him program satellites from my laptop while he was 1500 miles away one time. Lol

It's not my fault Gree is too lazy to fix this. I wonder whether he fixed the crate hack / glitch , seeing as there's a new crate event out , with the stupid top 1 ect prizes .
To be honest my days are almost done , if I get banned I couldn't care less. This game is about dead and burried , people quitting like never before.

I find it rather interesting that 3 hours into the Cuba crate event that someone has 92 opened crates. With my simple math that's 15 gold to open, 15 gold to reset per, assuming you got 100% the sword. That's what 2700 gold. Hrmm idk Id have a hard time believing that someone would buy that much gold in the first 3 hours much less spend it that fast unless they were retarded rich, using a stolen cc, or hacking. What do you think is most likely? I wonder if gree researches the top people in events like this to see if they are legit or not? Gree knows exactly how it's done , you won't get a pm off CJ . There's a crate hack as well , which I'm sure they know about also . Why are they not fixed - doesn't take a genius to work it out. You gotta spend more gold to compete ;)

I find the diversions away from the intended point interesting.

That point being within the 1st hour many were getting pies and the event was not working correctly. Yet there was someone blazing up the leaderboard. So the assumptions needed to make this happen is:

1. A heavy gold spender begins attacking or doing missions right at the start of the event to get crates
2. The event is working correctly for that person so that they get crates and not pies
3. The sword reward from the crates is high enough to have +75 within the 1st hour

So say what you will about how deep your pockets are no one cares. As for me I am a teir 2 bonus program member. The issue is if there is an error how is it only working for a select few gold spenders.

For anyone else that found a "glitch" by all means exploit it. It's part of the game...you didn't alter the game to suit your needs.
