Hey all,

This December marks the second anniversary of Modern War. As part of the celebration for this, we are holding a special community event to recognize players that have gone above and beyond in the game or the community. Here's how it works:

What we would like you to do is nominate another player or forum member who you feel has gone above and beyond for you, or for your faction, or for other players in general, and we would like you to tell us the details. Out of all nominations, the MW team will select 10 winners and 5 honorable mentions to be given an awesome in-game prize as recognition for their efforts to the game and/or other players. The top 10 will get a special unique prize.

Some examples of why you would nominate someone:

A faction leader or officer without whom your faction would not have placed in a WD event.

A forum member or player who has constantly given good advice or collected valuable information for other players.

Someone you met through the game who has helped you greatly, or made a serious difference in your own play or life.

Those are just examples though. If you can think of someone who deserves an award, tell us, and tell us why. This contest will be open until December 24th, so make sure you put your nomination in before then. Winners will be decided, announced and awarded at the end of the month.

Additional Rules:

1: Nominations need to go in this forum thread as replies; anyone with nominations or questions about the event sent in through other channels will be redirected here.

2: Please do not nominate yourself. That will result in a disqualification.

3: Please mention the player's in-game name or forum handle so that we can locate them in the system.

4: Please give us as much detail as possible on why you think this person deserves an award.

5: We reserve the right to increase the number of honorable mentions depending on the number and quality of the nominations. The Top 10 will still get an exclusive grand prize though.

6: You can nominate up to three different people.

7: Multiple nominations from different don't give multiple chances to win, but they may get our attention.

8: Please don't be rude about anyone else's nomination choice.

Further edits/details:

We'll consider anyone who is nominated, without any personal bias. A number of really awesome, helpful people have had occasional run-ins or disagreements with the forum or in-game team members (it happens when people are passionate about something) and we won't hold that against anyone (we don't ever anyway, but I wanted that stated for the record). This is for you guys to give shout-outs to who YOU think is awesome.

Thanks for doing this !!!

I nominate....

DaBoss!- he always has something to say and always makes me laugh, even on a bad day. I can't stop laughing at some of his posts. he is wise and has constructive comments to everything

Thief- He makes the boss tracker which is really helpful, and gives good advice to everybody, which is really helpful to me

Richard- His forum account is Richard79. He was an officer in our old faction and always took priority in helping. Our faction broke up and with most of our old team, he got them together. He helps everybody. He is a good role model!

Is it okay to bribe people............................Jk. In all seriousness, Thank YOur CJ54 for organizing an event in honor of the second anniversary.

We'll have some other things going on, but we wanted to do something community-oriented as well. A lot of crazy and awesome things have happened in the last two years.

CJ54 EDIT: Actually just changed it, since we were discussing the same thing over here. It's up to 3.

There's your answer:D

Thanks for doing this CJ! Are we allowed to nominate more than one person?

I nominate....(until CJ answers question)

We were going with no, but I just opened it to up to three nominations from each person. I just didn't want people coming in and nominating their entire faction, but a few people is okay.

For me it's obvious... It's about time "Thief" was rewarded for all the useful threads he has made, so that would be my vote.
Second vote would be for Dutchie, good luck.

I hereby nominate unicorn man. He's the best. Without him, the forum just wouldn't be "colorful" enough to visit.

Same reason for Dutchie as for Thief? (Give us details! We like details!)

...

Seriously guys, prizes are going to be good (I'll have details on that later). Nominate people who really deserve it (yes, I know, unicorn guy deserves it, but I can't give him a prize. He already wins the internet anyway).

I started playing from the very beginning. I didn't join PUN. I stayed neutral and over the past few years Commander Boom Boom has been as solid as they come. He has always helped others teaching them how to play and despite numerous rivalries going back to the ManBearPig Royal Navy days, he has always been an honorable player. He is looked up to by many and sets a great example of how to play this games while having fun!

I'm sure nominating a SUP player will create some controversy but you must admit he is a great guy and his dedication and behavior sets a standard for others to follow.

I nominate God of War (http://www.funzio.com/forum/member.php?113177-God-of-War), he is an awesome faction leader and has made a lot of contributions (before we found passionate players):

In BowBow Republic:

In KYS:
Not there to see it, but I bet he is being awesome there too

IRL:
He is very helpful, willing to spend the gold to complete a FLTQ for all of us, and is a good friend.

I would also nominate Thief and SGT Rud, for their informational contributions here on the forums (you know what they are)

I would like to nominate my buddy DCB. He doesn't post in the forums but has guided me from the start. He has helped me build my IPH and showed me how to keep my level low but yet still perform and help my faction. With out his guidance I would be an underdog instead of a bulldog. I'm no where never the biggest fish in the pond but with DCB's help I can hold my own.

DCB has been one of the officers of a pretty good faction and he lets me in when there are great events going on. I'm part of his faction chat room and I see him helping everyone and going out of his way to find answers for everyone. He takes all the new players in his faction under his wing to make them feel like they are truly part of something more than just a game on a device.

I'm nominating a couple of players.

1. Toidrage
He's one of my faction mates and one of the finest officers in the game. He recruited me a few months ago, back when I was just a level 20 greenhorn. He has helped me learn the ins and outs of the game, and has always been a steady, patient voice during times of uncertainty. Thanks to his willingness to give me a chance to learn and grow, I am now one of our faction's top players.

2. Baja Chris
He's my faction's leader and one of the true OG's of the game. He built our top 500 guild from the ground up, starting back when factions first became available. He's a no-nonsense, intensely loyal brother who I thoroughly enjoy fighting alongside of. He's a 2 year veteran of Modern War, and a true grinder.

I nominate Black Dragon. She had been a member of the Dogs of War since inception. Her courageous onslaught of the coup on the dogs last month which resulted in the loss of the faction to a rogue ex dog who took leadership was not short of catastrophic. Not only did she fight for the dogs but thru exemplary leadership got the faction back and was able to get all who lost their faction last unit their bonus unit.

She lead the faction whom had lost most of the original dogs to TKO and GSF to a record of 55-6 and 9/9 streak in the Netherlands campaign. This was not short of miraculous! We went to war with only 21 players which included 5 LLP's. She has helped many players to include myself learn, evolve and strengthen their player with tips, suggestions and instructions. When I came to the dogs 9 months ago I had 300k stats. Today thanks to BLACK DRAGON, I have nearly 20m stats.

She has literally blead for her faction and deserves this honor. If you polled the top 20% of MW players! I guarantee they know her. She effects this game positively even today. I believe if she left this game it would be a detriment that would compare to when Ferr left for retirement.

She is an outstanding person and leader who's integrity and honor is above reproach. For me this game is like life in the way that shows true character and honor in the people who play this game. She embodies all these qualities.

She is worthy of this honor and I hope she is selected!

I only know them from the forums, but they are always posting really good and informative threads. Guide to free gold back in June, many about the new NPCs and the LTQs. I haven't seen them engage in any flame wars, not saying they haven't been snarky, just that I haven't seen it. In fact, they have seemed pretty reasonable in their comments. Offering constructive criticism vs whining, explaining the logic of their arguments and pretty much taking the high road that I've seen.

That .... and and their avatar image is the penguin Skipper. That alone should get high marks.

I want to nominate William from World Domination Team. After my first WD with the team, I started referring to him as "bionic," and many wars have passed with William leading the battles 24/7 through work, without sleep, and to victory. But what's worth so much more than that, is his ability to bring out the best of a player/person. You can always tell when you first meet/chat with someone if they are one of those people who actually cares about others. William has helped us all in our strategies in game, as well as in life. He keeps the rest of the team up, even when we are losing a tuff one. He's carried WDT on his back for at least the last 6 months, and held us together and made us all feel right at home. FLTQs, LTQs, WD, and his favorite, (at least at one time) the Boss events.... They wouldn't have been the same without the poise and leadership of William. He is very obviously: every member of our team's favorite teammate and friend. It's not the same when he is away. Thanks William, I wish my post here did you justice, brother.

I'd like to nominate two players:

1.) Thief of VFF

- and -

2.) SGT Rud of the War Warblers

Both of these gentleman consistently go above and beyond the call of duty both in their factions and as a service to the gaming community. You'll notice that every LTQ event SGT Rud has a complete table full of every NPC and how much energy/xp it will take to finish the job.

Every boss event you can count on Thief to provide a helpful template that is highly participated in.

Both of these players provide much information to the community and all the while maintaining a respectful, friendly demeanor.

Just because they are in high ranking factions doesn't fill them with a sense of entitlement or elitism that is so unfortunately prevalent.

So, all of that being said, 3 cheers for Thief and SGT Rud.

Love,
Powerbang

Thanks CJ for this awesome stuff.
Ill like to name 3 Special players/friends of mine here on forum who always go
above and beyond to help others with anything related to MW.
If it wasn't for them I personally wouldn't be playing today since the lack of
communication from GREE left us New players (well I`m not new anymore about
9 months of playing) with nowhere to turn to when we had questions,
concerns and upcoming events updates...
1st- Thief = respectful guy and always gives you an answer when one needs help. Not to mention he is a senior member of MW (I believe 2 years tomorrow)
as well as this forum and who takes his time to give us BOSS event strategies.
2nd- SGT Rud= For his tremendous effort on getting us upcoming events
targets/ maps etc...Really time consuming, but he manages to always Keep us updated
on everything, Plus helpful advices. Also another senior member of MW and forum.
3rd- lastly Mcdoc= Always replies with courtesy and respect towards others,
helping others whenever he can. Also a senior member...

All 3 of these guys deserve more than a price! they are the reason why some of us
come here daily to get our questions answered and to actually read the advices
they give us. Not trolling like many and most importantly Treating everyone with respect and a positive attitude...With the information I gather from the Threads they post I can help my faction members and keep them up to date on what`s coming next or how to do things when someone needs a quick answer.
This is the Least I can do in return for all they do...

I'm making my annual appearance here to second Fl@sh's nomination of Khimsoo for MW Toolkit. Totally free and answers perhaps 3/4 of the game dynamic questions asked here if the lazy folks would download it and use it. Khimsoo led it's creation, got it in the App Store, etc all for FREE for us to use. Selfless, helpful...what more can you say?

I nominate Ferr. I know he has supposedly left the game but I secretly think he is still lurking in the shadows. He always looked out for the little guy as well as the rest of the MW community. I know over the years there have been many a disagreement between him and many faction members but that early rivalry added the element of just enough drama to keep people coming back to see what would happen next. He once popped into my old faction (a mere top 250 faction) and gave us 10 billion. He never asked for a thing. He offered free advice to many of us, free or gold spenders alike. Please seriously consider this patriarch of the game
Since we can have more than one nomination
Second is digger..he has put up with me for almost two years, when I first joined his faction he gave me a lot of pointer on improving my stats and when I started a new account I used all his advice and quickly out grew my previous account
Third nomination..Thunder Child, be too like Ferr, has always looked out for others before himself, organizing things behind the scenes to help others out. Doing the thankless jobs that most never see.

Thief gets my vote too - consistently provides the information we all need for the Boss events and so undoubtedly makes a HUGE difference to the game.

Also a long-serving and highly respected member of the Forum.

I have had the luck of serving under two of the best faction leaders in the game. My nominations are:-

THUNDER CHILD of =LITTLE BRAVO=

Tc as he is known is the spiritual leader and father of little bravo. Not so long ago little bravo was a top 1500 faction. With the guidance and extraordinary wisdom that TC instils we have risen from top 1500 to one of the most successful streak teams outside of the top 3 and finished 30th in Netherlands. When all around him are losing the head he is a force to keep us on track. Dedicates a lot to the forum and opens up genuinely interesting debate about the game. I cant imagine modern war with out tc.

GIGS of STRENGTH & HONOR
I have sadly moved from strength and honour but keep strong ties. I joined as my first faction and with the help of gigs taking me under his wing I began to learn the game. Ive never met a man with more time for his faction friends than this guy. When the pressure is cranked up and factions start to fall apart because of hectic schedules it takes a special man to keep it together. He has successfully ran a top 50 faction all year and kept a harmony like no other and it shows in their results.

I nominate The Ripper and Panzer from TKO. They have held to integrity and kept people going no matter what was going on in and around the faction. They have always kept a level head and put other players needs in front of their own. I'm sure both players could have went and joined the number 1 team so they could be in the top team, but again they out 58 other people above their own personal games.

Should just be for forum and the guys that give us the great info on events. Thank you to those and hope you get the reward. Dare say however that it will all go to SUP 1. Let's face it they deserve it the most having spent so much on a game that could have gone to eliminating an entire 3rd World country from hunger!

I second the nomination of William (WDT). Will is always there to answer questions that anyone may have, new or otherwise. He always remains positive and makes the best of every situation. Will does a great job of getting everyone heading in the right direction. Thanks Will.

1. Sabonis
He introduced me to this game way back when it first came out. Before WD, or all the events. After being so frustrated with the whole 'yes-yes' 'no-no' controversy he convinced me to come back after a lengthy absence and join these new awesome factions. Been hooked ever since, can honestly say I wouldn't have played without him luring me back. Usually text about various MW related items on a daily basis. He doesn't have great stats but he's willing to do whatever the faction asks of him whether it's wall duty in war or prestaging that last level of the fltq.

2. Brig. Gen. Shory

Started warring with this guy in Greenland. We've fought the majority of wars together since in various different factions. A man of faith who I've had some great conversations with on external chat apps. He's also been willing to go the extra mile for the faction. I'm not sure he ever sleeps during WD.

The reason I come to the forum is information, there's many that are very helpful but the two I would nominate for most help thoughout the years are theif and devin. They put a lot of time in helping others and providing some what instructions, or what's gunna happen next, to a game the creators do not.

As soon as I saw this thread, I immediately thought of one person. My nomination goes to Thunder Child of Little Bravo and AOD.

Little Bravo wasn't even a top 1000 faction when I first joined before India. But with his guidance, we've steadily climbed in the rankings from top 4000 in Australia to top 150 in Mexico and Italy, picking up THREE final streak prizes and ALL 50 win prizes along the way! As Lee said he is the heart and soul of our faction, and has dedicated massive amounts of time and energy to improving LB (including putting in 20+ hour shifts during WD).

But creating one amazing faction wasn't enough for him! He went on to create another amazing faction called Apostles of Doom, that collected the final streak and 50 wins prizes in it's first war, and placed in the top 150 in it's first two. However, arguably his crowning achievement was eventually uniting these two amazing factions together and leading us to another 50+ wins, a top 50 finish, and one badly timed SUP1 matchup away from another final streak prize!

But even with all our success he has made sure to keep us grounded and laid back, and constantly reminds us all to have fun, as that's what this game is all about!

Thunder Child has been an amazing leader and friend to me since I first started playing MW, and is responsible for bringing together arguably one of the best groups of players in MW with LB and AOD. He's been a valuable member of the forums and the MW community in general, and he is as deserving of recognition as anyone else I have met in this game.

From the original days of the forum and learning from his sagely advice, I nominate

http://www.veteranstoday.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/Agent-Orange-306x320.jpg

He has been in my allies list since two Novembers ago. His posts at that time were more informative and strategic, however the timbre now is more wise and prospective. Typically, an appearance in a recent thread demonstrates that someone needs a piece of advice, and everyone gets to be part of something bigger after he moves in and fades away. He is above the petty bickering and screaming about the falling skies. He is a guy you could listen to, and I genuinely respect the mature tempered advice in a forum full of anti-social addicts.

Bravo AO. Thanks from me at least.

This is bullsh%$t, for those that have played the game and have given gold (cash) to this and have received nothing or just got the "your response is being looked at "" thank you for you response, it is being looked at", is crap need to look at the people that have been playing this game from the beginning and still playing it, besides all the programming mess ups tat have happen over the last year. that should be reward enough to get this unit, my thought if you have the 1 year unit you should get the 2 year unit, no matter what

My nomination goes to Hammer of the 48th TFW. As a member of the 48th, Hammer has been instrumental in our ability to compete effectively during WD events. We are what I consider a second tier faction; strong enough to compete consistently for Top 250, but not strong enough to compete with the "big boys".

Our ability to have success is a direct result of Hammer's commitment to the faction. Statistics are the simplest way to measure the effectiveness of a player and in Hammer's case they speak volumes as to his importance to the faction. Hammer averages 1564 wins and 435,600 WD points per event. For the level we compete at, these statistics are staggering.

More impressive though is his dedication to his teammates. One member recently wrote, "Hammer, you are the flagship of this faction. You set the pace, tone and tenor of each battle and you are the first name brought-up if we are in trouble."

I've been a faction leader from the beginning. As such, I have spent many hours reading recruitment posts and I know beyond a shadow of doubt that Hammer would have his choice of ANY faction were he choose to depart the 48th yet he remains dedicated to our faction. He is the epitome of a team player and as such, is truly deserving of this recognition.

Why is the two year anniversary about 5-10 people, and not the entire community? Shouldn't we be discussing how to pay homage to the entire community and not a select few? Hell I bet half of that list is in the top 5% of contributors to GREE's bottom line. Without the community/pool of players behind these select few, GREE would never make money exploiting these few for their good natures.

Sorry if I hurt any feelings, but I'm insulted by this..not only do our in-game champions make "real financial" sacrifices for the community, but GREE exploits their virtually created "martyr-ism". /sigh

Speaking as be of the two-year vets, I'd just like to thank all of you who have "committed" themselves to pushing the limits of this game. The community wouldn't be what it is without you....forum intel, asking questions about "gray areas", and devoting precious time in your finite life to MW. Really, thank you for everything.

Fair points from a certain perspective, but: This isn't the only thing we're doing for the anniversary. This is just one thing we're doing on the forums here, and players can nominate anyone (and it doesn't take gold spent to do good things for others or be recognized for that).

And we are definitely very much aware that it is the entire collective playerbase that has made this game a success.

Only a truly exceptional person can lead two factions in conjunction =Little Bravo= and Apostles of Doom to victory as the Thunder Child has done through several WD events. He has always kept the game fun for all of us and rallied us to continue on when things got tough.

Thunder Child has also organized dozens of streak squads to work together to achieve their goals instead of fighting one another. Worked on factions collaborations outside of WD. He is continually thinking outside the box to achieve the WD goals and freely shares his advice. In my opinion Thunder Child is one of the most well respected players in the game and deserves this prize for all his dedication.

Animal is a true team player and a fighter without any fear. His efforts go beyond what you can expect from a normal player as he is raiding non stop and online 24/7. He contributed more than any other player to the success of GSF. Animal is also section leader and getting his troops ready for war and motivated.

I would like to nominate the following and in no particular order:

1. Khimsoo - Modern War Toolkit. That pretty much sums it up. Amazing and so helpful and free. A donation is suggested but it is amazing of him to do this.

2. Sgt Rud - Hi contribution to the forum and helpful posts and information is really top notch. Thank you my friend for everything you do.

3. Thief - have talked to Thief on the phone, have messaged him and pretty much what you see here is who the guy really is. Genuinely helpful and gives great advice. I would say his advice has helped so many new and experienced players.

I know I am limited to 3, but my own honorable mentions would include Vballmadam for her selflessness, Dingleberry, well for being an original pirate and his selfless play in events and Micky Mac.

Although SUP gets a bad rap, I will tell you these are some amazing people, no they do not work for Gree, etc. Many factions will offer many deserving people, but will tell you these men and women are top notch and have contibuted and given more than many will ever know or realize.

I would like to give two people

1. Thief- who has given many years to MW delicately.
2. Ferr- though he has taken the retirement but I my view he is one of the legend.

I would like to nominate the following persons:

- Thief - Just for his contribution to the forum (not only at boss events) and for his honest way of reacting. Also because he is a nice person who takes time for players he doesn't even know. I reached to him through this forum and got a nice reaction. One hell of a good guy he is!

- Sjefke - He has made a huge difference at our faction (The Dutch Republic), when i started at a faction (BossCrewsNL) we came into a conversation. I joined The Dutch Republic (TDR), and wanted to get BossCrewsNL (BCN) to be related. Sjefke worked this all out and helped/ designed the structure of BCN and made it to a succes. At BCN it was hard to get into top 1000. Because of his structure (and ofcourse with the players of the team) they even reached top 500 twice in a row. Sjefke has made battle plans, with good readable and understandable content. This was a success for both factions. Sjefke you got my nomination!

- Daan (account surfer): Currently at BCN. He has done a lot for me and the factions because of his tactical conversation ability. He regularly gives me a mirror or the listening ear i need to perform like i want. He is also a big value to both factions because of his ability to clear the sky if the dark clouds pop up. He sees when someone needs help and gives it where he can. Also by the way he communicates he shows how others can react on certain decisions. Thereby he is also caring to help anyone where he can by doing it himself or redirecting to someone who can help out. (Dutch) Daan je bent een top kerel (/Dutch).

And there are many others but these are now my nominees. Too bad some great players at our faction decide to quit the game, it's understandable and we'll miss you.

Also a special nomination for Ferr and Devin, for what they contributed to MW and this forum community in the past!

Besides this i wanted to say the following:
Mouse last war was for you!

I would like to nominate-

1. Thief because he has done the most tiring job of creating and organising of boss event threads and also of his helpful nature.

2. SPWD because he is our only recruiter of our faction and has good recruiting skills,he has also helped us all in wd events by extensive scouting and scoring. He visits this forum daily and always post important notices from this forum to our chat room.

I have three nominations, all for entirely different reasons:
- Thief
Because of his huge contribution to the forum the last 100 years. Thief, I think the main prize will be coming your way and it should.

- Cody21 from Redrum.
I have seen many officers in a number of factions and I know no better officer than Cody (or one who puts in more time and effort). Many if not every event he's busy defining the best strategy, informing everyone and getting us in line to do his bidding. No mean feat in itself, but he always gets the job done, every time. FLTQ's, boss events, finishing them has become routine and I cannot think of a better compliment than that.

- Hammer from 48th TFW
Although it was ages ago that I was in the 48th, I have to agree with Archer59. The fact that Hammer has stayed with the 48th for so long, while able to even be in a top10 faction, definitely deserves recognition. Next to that, he's a very nice guy.

My Vote goes to our leader in S&H - Gigs.

Always goes above and beyond. Always puts his team through thick and thin.
A great gent.

My 2nd vote also goes to Theif. Some great info and by far the most productive on the forums.

Hello CJ and Gree

First off happy anniversary. Its been quite a ride.

There is a lot I would like to nominate in my faction - but I have to choose. I would like to nominate an officer in my faction with the ingame handle:

zar rath
Faction name: The Danish Brigade

1. He has always been the number one player or at least close in every war. The last war he almost score 1/10 of our points. Thats 4 times average. Without him we would definately be more mediocre.

2. He gives me as faction leader a lot of help not only a steady man to bounce ideas off. But always ready with new input and always constructive.

3. Without him It wouldnt be possible for me to run the strategies we put forward in wartime or off-wartime.

4. One of our absolutely best at recruiting new players.

5 Always giving good mood to the faction in our faction.

6. With a couple of other people takes charge when their leader is MIA for some reason.

7.Although he has been with us from the start he is still going strong.

Rest reserved for other nominations

Thunder Child gets my first vote

Amazing spirit, leader and friend. It is amazing to see the network of hardcore players he has assembled and coordinated during the last 5-7 wars!

Thief gets my second vote, for being a voice of facts and sanity on the dirty

Devin gets my third vote, a super guy and a fellow REGster, he revolutionised the way of helping your fellow player (too bad GREE banned and broke him)

Hello CJ,

First of all I would like to wish you a happy anniversary and congratulate you for this briliant ideea.
I would like to nominate 3 players: Huper (our faction leader), Kerusso and Jan (mighty Officers in our Faction). Those are their in game names.
I thank them in an equal way for their capabilities of leading, teaching and not in the last place for being great friends.
My playing experience has never been the same since I joined their Faction. Although our faction struggled many times and encountered difficulties, thanks to these great persons we are still together and probably more ready than we have never been to continue our journey in MW.

Proud to be a Texicans member with such a great lead !

Merry Christmas and Good Luck !

Id like to nominate most of Uk Invaision Force. Which i cant, so it will have to be 3 of my Officers.

Brett [UKIF] - A great guy my team would struggle to replace. Any details on events how far we can he is my man. Always looking for the best approach

Dr Smith - UKIF - Always there for war ( I dont think he sleeps the entire thing) always gets the team laughing and in a good mood, and for overcoming his personal demons.

Dave - If co-ordinating a last min counter strike seems hard this guy has it the hardest. He has 6 accounts (steals his kids) and can always be counted on to bring numbers to the battle!

Thanx for this opportunity. Id write more about them but if you was with us you
Would know

Id also vote Black Dog-UKIF and twat but im only allowed 3

Further to vote the guys on the forums who let us know what units are about, rewards and walkthroughs. Thanx guys. Id put your names down but you have certainly got enuff already. Keep up the hard work

Gigs, awesome leader and humble human being I would say. He lead the faction with great care. His passion towards the team and game itself is amazing. I quit playing MW 3 months ago.then I started to play again from this month with my mini. Being a top 50 faction, without hesitation, he let me in again to join faction. In all sorts, he is the one deserved for this reward.

-He is a great guy always fixing things for the faction.

-Always online if you need him.

-Great at giving good advice

I think that's enough. Don't want him to be arrogant;)

My other vote is warbaselars from the Dutch republic

-he does anything to push the faction forward!

-always giving good advice for the faction but also in personal life!

2: he is helping everybody personel with questions.
3: he is the motivator with the ltq events.
4: he make scheduals For ltq events.
5: he leads many wars.

I too want to nominate Khimsoo for the prize.

1) Toolkit - excellent app and done for free, taking his time out to help everyone.
2) All the things he has done for security and bugs within MW/CC that the forum or general users never see but Gree does!
3) Been an all round top guy!

I'd like to nominate:
* Pistols Firing - leader of Go Pokes! faction (gb7 in forum)
Pistols is a fantastic faction leader, selfless and loyal. Through his efforts, Go Pokes! rapidly climbed the rankings in WD, ultimately finishing in the top 75 in the Italy Campaign. In that war, Pistols two accounts scored 1.8m points.
With his stats and scores, he could easily find a place in a top 10 faction, and he has had offers, but he chooses instead to stay in the faction he founded. For his efforts, loyalty, and generosity to his faction, I'd like to see him rewarded

* Thief - primarily for his Boss threads, but also for general faction contributions.

1) RIDDLER
2) MR FREEZE
3) urdummy
All of them really makes the difference...

PS.
I do not neglect Khimsoo's work with the MWtoolkit, but I have never used it due to my total apple intolerance. I am however sure his work together with others must be the biggest informational help in this game.

I nominate Alex of Seal Tm 6
He is a loyal and supportive member who always leads from the front. He is always positive in his attitude towards completing FLTQ, boss and WD events, constantly encouraging members to keep pushing. He selflessly uses his gold for the benefit of the faction and its' members when he could easily use it to improve his own account. He never accepts personal credit for the factions' success even though he is a major contributor. It would be nice for his efforts and generosity to be recognised.

Mcdoc
12-11-2013, 06:37 AM
Wow - what a really nice idea :)

I would love to nominate:

1) Thief - Solid stand-up guy who I have come to consider a friend! Had the honor of meeting him once for a meal & was super impressed by his passion for the game and passion to help others. There has already been so much said about this guy - and that alone is already a testament to his value to our community.

2) Solo (aka Hans Solo aka Red Solo Cup) - Another person I claim as a friend I met through this game. Solo has worked SO hard behind the scenes to manage intel for SO many teams - even helping out at the Air Traffic Control Center to help factions get through WD weekends and achieve goals by coordinating team efforts. It takes a solid ambassador and someone who is well liked to earn the respect and trust of SO many players!

3) Speed Ump: The first Pirate that I recall being out in the open to answer questions - squash rumors - and help others understand the value of a well coordinated team! As much bad press as the Pirates received over the first year - "Stephen" was even keel on taking the heat - explaining things - and of course - we all have to give the Pirates credit for how the game evolved into Faction Play. I know he is humble enough to not claim to be a representative or leader of the Pirates - SUP - but he is one of the most respected members of that elite group of players and I am a better player for knowing him. For those who give me credit for the concept of VFF (Veteran Forum Fighters) - I have to go back and give the Pirates credit for inspiring multiple teams working together under one common banner! In my mind - VFF truly includes EVERY player on THESE forums who is a better informed / better developed player because of the knowledge shared here in the spirit of good nature.

There are about 10 more players I would love to nominate that unfortunately have left the game - or at least gone dormant on the forums - people like Chuck Norris / Tramp Stamp / Johnny R- and the like - who lit the torch of knowledge and the spirit of cooperation long before I came along and was inspired to follow their example.

To anyone and everyone who has ever contributed to the neighborly vibe and positive contribution to this community - you are all MUCH Appreciated for making this silly game SO much more than anyone could have crafted - as real people - good people - came together on this forum with a passion for the game that sometimes seemed greater than those who created/supported it - and tried to help others enjoy this game - helped them understand the game - helped people develop much better players - and most of all - make this game MORE fun!

One thing I have learned on these forums - The More you serve others - the More you end up leading by example! I've known this in other areas of my life - but my experience here on this forum has really driven this concept home - and I hope at least one other person has grown from participating in this community the way I have :)

UnclePaul

I nominate Hooker Gal, she has brought a large community of factions together on group me to help share info, help in faction events ( by if your loyal to your faction or in a solo faction but want to do all faction events for prizes helps find you a place to get the rewards so you can be stronger). She's just about always onto assist (I think she's a zombie IMHO) and if she can't help knows who to ask or send you to for help.

I would like to nominate Alex from Seal Team 6. He always goes above and beyond to help every member in our faction without thinking of himself. Alex really deserves this award so please consinder this nomination.

I second the nomination of Sgt Rud. I know him from the forum and from our intel alliance. He always has great info on the LTQ. Like Thumper said, his posts are always well thought out and are always full of useful info.

I nominate the symbol guy. I think he's level 300 and used to be known as Bilal or Salty.
He gives guys $100 iTunes cards to help them play the game. They couldn't afford to play if he didn't fund them. He has one faction of homeless guys, meth addicts, convicted drunk drivers, forgers, etc... He helps them in recovery. Bought them iPads about 20 and put them in his faction. He doesn't say much about it, but does it through his religion. He's a great guy, does so much to help others.

There are many players that have made the game fun and many who have been helpful at times on the forum. I have been around for a long time and watched a lot of players come and go.

Factions made players selfish and unwilling to help anyone other than their team or their collective of teams. That was pretty much the nail in the coffin for this forum. It was great for the game and I am glad to have been apart of the evolution.

Many players will vote for their teammates or friends but that really isn't fair nor is it my objective. I have no ties to my nomineee what-so-ever. There is only one player that has remained helpful throughout my tenure here.

My nomination goes to Thief. He is truly the only deserving one on this forum. There are several new people here that are following in his footsteps but he has remained constant from the beginning.

paul from the faction Zass deserves to be recognized...

paul is one of the kind of leader's that every faction searches for, wants on their side, but few manage to get. I met paul when I first joined Zass back around the time of the third war. It was the first time I had been a part of such an organized team. paul ALWAYS was quick to help with any questions people asked. A few wars later, the faction literally split over a disagreement in how to move forward and improve the the faction. Missing out on the top-100 was the breaking point. Many of the gold spenders left and merged with another faction. Honestly, paul probably had more in common with the ones who left stat-wise than those he stayed with. What he stayed for, though, was the idea that we could be a great team without booting people who weren't throwing heaps of gold at the game.

Since then, paul has been a tremendous leader who has been through it all as we scratched and clawed our way back up the ranks. He has served as one of the main reasons we have done as well as we have and we have finally broken into the top-100 playing the game our way. In this time he has served as our DL, been one of our strongest WD point contributors, been a constant flow of information on events as he typically finishes them ahead of everyone else and has been a great friend to get to know outside of the game too.

I've had the pleasure of meeting a lot of characters and personalities in this game, but I've had the honor of having paul on the team.

Nice subject, many players give lots of information here but here goes my 2 votes.]

1. Thief
The amount of effort put into his loot trackers, or health trackers ;), is enormous, one thing for a start is that he always keeps updating instead of making a thread and then nothing. Then we have the information about all the loot and stuff you can gain from the boss event. But I think his best thing is the health tracking part to it, it helps us know how far we can go and with that it can help factions get more daily goals because of bosses defeated and how far we can go individually, this helps me, and I'm sure it helps many others too.
He also does great when it comes to ideas for new things which a lot of people tend to agree with. I know this is a well deserved vote for thief.

2. SGT Rud
This is also pretty much the same as thief, apart from the loot tracker obviously. His ideas are great and have a lot of depth to them which could practically change the game how it is played. I also very much look forward to his NPC list, it helps prestaging loads because we know where we're going and how much we do. Another well deserved vote for another great, helpful guy.

There are many more people out there that are great but these 2 stand out to me, not only do they have the ideas but they also take the time to help out the community with their lists of information and to me they are key features to someone who is good & helpful. They are kind too and never try to go against anyone if someone is trying to tell them something to help them out :)

I have two nominees, one goes to "big daddy" of the 101 airborne division. He has been a great help to me in the past 6-7 months I have been there. Not only does he keep the faction coordinated during war he also helps coordinate during events as well. He is the heart and soul of the 101. Over the time he has become a person I would consider a friend. He has been there for me when real life got a lil tough and when I'm ready to throw in the towel with this game. He makes everyone laugh and smile and is always ready to help anyone who needs it. It is also because of him in Florida there is a shortage of Fritos and bean dip lol

My second nominee would have to be "blacksheep" also a part of the 101, our leader. Just. 2 or 3 wars ago out former leader Steve past over leadership to him. With Steve as leader we managed a top 50 spot for 6 consecutive wars, not two bad. First war "blacksheep" was leader we managed a top 25 spot which we got back to back top 25. We decided to take the month of December "slow" and we managed a top 75 spot. Don't worry gree even tho we taking it slow you still getting your money lol. He is a war machine, he score a average of 1 mil points+ per war and is always there to help pull out faction thru any and all events

I wish I could nominate our whole faction but unfortantly I can't. In my eyes we all deserve the "special" units. 101 thanks for a great year and looking forward to kicking butt again in January. I love each and every one of y'all. Good luck "big daddy" and "black sheep"

I was not surprised to see my first consideration as the first one listed this morning when I opened this thread. So for my nominations, I will echo many others, then provide a personal side to my final nomination.

1. Thief - no single individual has provided more tips, tricks and insightful opinions on this game, without the dripping sarcasm and bile that some posters seem so proud of (ok maybe a little sarcasm). Thief does not put you down for asking noob questions, and is who I wait to hear from when a new feature, issue or aspect of MW is first posted.

2. SGT Rud - the Commander's Tool is an invaluable resource

3. LT.Petersen (MW player ID 487745172)- my Sea Daddy. For those of you who are not familiar with what/who a Sea Daddy is, it is a Navy term for a senior person, usually in the same job specialty as you, that takes you under his wing and teaches you what the REAL job is about beyond the books of A and C school. Kenny brought me into my first faction, made me an officer and eventually leader. He taught me all about the faction side of MW, fighting and working together as a team, and how to survive without being crushed. We have fought together in 3 different factions now and have become close friends outside of the game; we know all about each other's families, jobs and lives in general. When my son was born 2 months ago, he was one of the first to congratulate us and demand pics. No single person has done more to make this game fun for me.

gotta love her for everything she does to bring the whole community together.

Keep up the good work HG!

Guess I'll return for a post also.

- McDoc - for starting and leading VFF Alpha through the first wars and trying with all his diplomacy to get the VFF family running. And for being my wingman for a lot of battles.

- Thief - the second leader of VFF Alpha, keeping things running and making some though decisions in the early days. And as a lot have mentioned for his great Boss threads and other contributions on this forum. A good truly good man.

- Gero - the current leader of VFF alpha, who has kept the faction together and running while most where burning out.

That's 3, but there are plenty of great people out there and I won't start mentioning them all. Love you all and you know who you are.

This.
Hammer from the 48th TFW.

As a member of the 48th I can wholeheartedly agree with everything archer has said about the legend we call hammer. A true team player and a great guy truly deserving off recognition!

As a second vote it hardly needs mentioning lol but thief, for all the great posts he makes on this forum.

I second this nomination...... SGT Rud always goes above and beyond!!!

Scuba Pirate msdt aka Diverguy -for all the user info that he provides via parlingo. Really gives detailed info that is open to all and really helps me play the game.
BBB - faction leader at N66 just for the loyalty and dedication he provides to that faction and the warm welcome he always gives to old members.
Nimafassa, part of Nomads, absolute beast and always keeps us in line. Great team leader.

All should be PRIZE winners....... all 3 are awesome, including Ghost-12

I would have thought you would be nominating ranger.

I would like to take myself out of contention by nominating myself. So here it goes, I nominate myself in order to be disqualified because there are others who are far more deserving than myself.

I would however like to nominate a few others.

I would like to nominate Pirate Justice. He has always told the truth.

I would like to nominate Ferr for recognizing the truth and acting on it.

I would like to nominate the Gree admins for banning those who told the truth because form your actions of silencing other made the truth believable

After thinking about it for a while, I nominate Micky. Despite claims to the contrary, he has done more to clean up this game than anyone else, period. If we were keeping a tally, I'd bet the has gotten rid of more hackers than anyone else (including gree) by a multiple. To top it all off, all he gets in the form of appreciation here is rocks thrown at him. How about giving some appreciation where it is due. Trolls don't need to respond to this, go hide under your bridges.

My vote goes to Dansgek. Always and I mean always helping out the faction. There is no I in Dansgek. Absolutely incredible guy. Without him The Dutch Republic would not be the faction that it is now. He is always well informed about the events that will take place. And with the more difficult events which normally requires lots of gold, he always manages to find other people who will help our faction. I can go on about why Dansgek deserves a special unit, but just give it to him. He really deserves it.

I see someone beat me to. Micky, but I'll add a second to that. No one else has come close to what he's done to help get rid of hacking and hackers. Of course the hackers (trolls) here have done nothing but give him grief, because they are the ones he's affected. Very much based in his help, we see less outright hacking now than at any point in the game. There still loopholes, as there will always be, but so much has been done, and in don't see nearly the complaints here, or in the game about hackers any more. You can thank Micky in large part for that.

I would like to nominate 3 people from the Dutch Republic
- Sjefke. Because he has set up TDR and has made it to the succes it is now. Sjefke turned TDR into the best faction from the Netherlands.
- Ron. For taking over the job from Sjefke, and also being like a father to all members. Ron has organized a great event in real life, where a lot of TDR members for the first time saw eachother in real life. This was a huge succes, so Ron also organized a second real life event. Ron also took care that Dansgek was put in the spotlight during thisn event for his great support
- Dansgek - for being almost 24/7 online and helping and planning the LTQ events. TDR would never be what it is today without Dansgek.

And all the other members at the Dutch Republic and Boss Crew NL who made this game much more them just a game.

I second this nomination for Agent Orange. A very well respected member of the forum who continuously posts very informative threads and is the only player I know that plays with 10 MW accounts.!!

My second nomination is for a guy who is not known on here ( so is not a popularity contest choice ).
Eagle from CAI Faction....He has a positive approach to everything and his selfless acts in Real Life makes him stand out for me. This is a guy who invited a faction member to his house to help him with his real life issues whilst also having to cope with his very ill father.

Cheers

I nominate Sonic form SGWarTeam!

In game you see him as Sonic Boom, Super sonic, Ultrasonic, Subsonic and Banana. He is the heart and soul of our faction. As our co-leader he does not get the recognition for the work and knowledge he has brought to the game. This member has so many accounts and spends more on gold than he really should to help the faction.

I personal owe him for setting me on the right path to create a month start a monster account when I first started playing. This account is the best in our faction for its level due to his guidance and strategy schemes. He is the senior in our group in age and I never seen a guy be on at all hours to help the faction during World Dominations. He shares knowledge with out questions and Tudors our new members who lack the experience or need to rethink their strategies.

Last Epic Boss event he had 8 devices running to help us get our 5 Special unit. It was sick to see hard he works for the faction! SGWarTeam is blessed to have him as a co-leader and I am blessed to call him my friend. This is what sets us apart we are life first and the game second. We find we are the best top 250 faction in the game due to his philosophies and guidance! Sonic Rules and everyone needs a man like him in your faction, unselfish, a!ways giving and a mentor to all!

I hope everyone votes for this player as he well deserves not just the recognition but the admiration of his fellow players!

I Nominate Sniperfou from SGWarTeam!

Known in game as Sniperfou, Chewbacca & R2D2
Sniperfou is the most dedicated player in our faction. He tirelessly puts together our war plans given to him from our officers, he built his own faction spreadsheet that tracks all our players progress and participation and growth in the game! He is a leader I. World Domi action you can count on to make who ever he has on at that time win the war they are in. We have beaten faction in the top 100, 50 & 25 because of his leadership. He is on all the time and is a friend to all in our faction. He will do anything to help the faction to make it better. How do you put a price on all of the hours of work he chooses to do so we have the Intel we need to be successful in our World Domination and faction decision! He is so done everyone needs in their faction and we have him in SGWarTeam! Making us the best top 250 faction in Modern War!

There are many people that have helped to build the positive community spirit and help all players. Some, like devin, left the forum early in my playing, and others like Larry Jackson have come to notice recently so I can't nominate them. Of the many that freely contribute their time and energy to making this game more fun for all of us, three stand out:

- Thief, for tracking Bosses and LTQ walkthroughs. For keeping a positive vibe and for trying to help newer players.
- SGT Rud for immediate tracking of all NPCs, for deliberately letting the trolls make their noise without responses and keeping the positive forum going, and for making chat rooms fun and entertaining.
- Hooker Gal for organizing chat rooms, sponsoring faction coopetition (yes, that's both cooperate and compete) and for maki many man smile with funny pics.

I want to tell you all a story of my experience in this game to date. About 1 year ago I was recruited for a top 750 faction, where i quickly became an officer as I was an original member. Soon after came a low level player by the name of general pain, who thought mw was the mobile version of mafia wars. The guy was as noob as it gets. But he did everything he could to meet the demands of our furher, Gaga. Fast forward a few months, and the faction is growing and general pain is addicted. Not any good, but addicted. He had all the defense buildings money could buy, and didnt know leveling up hurt him, he thought it was good. Fun times! Well gaga was a top scorer and a beast back then, and didnt worry bout the lil guys like pain. Pain was always bugging him about how to grow stronger, but this annoyed gaga. So pain googles modern war and finds this forum. Thus his training began. He read every thread and became familiar with every event. Fast forward to gagas departure, as he leaves for the clowns two days before war. The faction is left in disarray. Pain was very active and knew he had to step up. Our leader at the time just wasnt reliable enough. Pain took the bull by the horns, and with the help of our big guy tazman, they became killers. Destroying everywar, putting babies to sleep as we would say. Pain wanted us to win. He recruited ingame and built up the faction. But we were small and just didnt have what it took to be much better. Pain liked stewy, nut knew he could not lead us any further, as he was unreliable to be active. By this time pain was an officer and did all he could including scorint 200k in a top 500, just to ensure we finished ok. We were full of old non active members, but stewy ignored that. The active guys decided we needed more, so pain used the forums to find us a better faction. He also found us off site chat app at the same time. In a few short weeks, 15 of us went to a barely top 500, joined forces with another top 500 and formed what is now special elite soldiers. We finished top 150 our first war. We played our game and enjoyed it. Over time pain learned all the tips and tricks such as how to fight boss, how to prestage for ltq, and even how to fight wars. He didnt invent this, but learned from others and shared his knowledge and we all became better. Players liked pain and he formed relationships that make this game fun. Over time, ses became greedy with a leader that was completely addicted, and she began booting our loyal members that built that team. Eventually pain had enough. We were a team. Once again, pain needed to find us all another faction. He spent one war without us, looking to put together a full crew of pkayers who could join us. We wanted to play as a team and have fun. He found the talkedaga knights, who were a small but strong faction. There he merged three teams of active, loyal players. Pain has always been about our team. If there was ever a problem, we could communicate w him and he would always find a solution. He once bought extra gold to cover a player who had a death in the family just to cover his point requirement from a demanding leader that wanted this player booted because the funeral was during war weekend. He organizes events using spread sheets, sends messages to players asking if they can help with events, motivates us towork together. He is the type of player who will take the wall and dleader both if needed, just so free players can save hits to smash a target. And he finds the targets. He wants us to have fun. All this back and forth with him has cost from stat gains multiple times. He may not be a leader to this whole community, but to our small group, he is a godsend. The guy knows how to play and protects his players. When we were booted for a bad war, or not spending enough gold, he has had our backs, found us a better faction. To our little group, and a few that know him, he is the best assett a faction and player can have. Between 5 factions he has been part of, he has had a positive impact on 100s of players, and its time he had recognition for his efforts. Through faction turmoil to success, he has always been there for us. If there is any player out there that deserves this prize, its general pain. If its any testament to his goodness, i do not like gaming forums, but created this account just to recognize his efforts and write my modern war biography. Any player that knows him and is reading this knows what an assett he is. Now, for the first time, he is not with us for this war because of personal reasons, but still deserves this award. I humbly ask the powers at be consider him for his vallient efforts and team committments.

I would also like to nominate dreadnok of seal team 6. Dread is a hugo part of st6 but he is also the leader of our feeder faction pitbull assassins. He is always helping new and old members with his knowledge of game. Helps new members set up group me accounts, organisizes fltq, informs all members of the lastest mw news. Dread is a non selfish player always helping other players before himself. Boss events this man does not sleep killing bosses with 6 diffrent accounts just to help out both factions with the event. Please consider him for the prize he definitely deserves it.

Wow a Forum Event Again! (That is awesome as we sometimes feel neglected over here in Modern War compared to CC and KA with the MOD forum participation)

First and Foremost i want to thank all of the 2 year Veterans of this game. Many have come on the forum and helped paved the way for great guides and tools that we have today. So many names come flooding to me when i think all of those who have helped to get the forum and the game where it is today. Names that come to mind when i think of some of the originals:

Hello Kitty, Khimsoo, War Priest, Maverick, Agent Orange, Devin, Miner, Tramp Stamp, McDoc, MickyMacirl, Speed ump, JMC, Fl@sh, MadManDX, Zoltarov, Copenhagen, HB Bomber, Ranger4Life, Hivesy, Ph4ntom Stranger, Poopenshire (CampKiller), JohnnyR, Bronson, Thunder Child, Aiden, Sepi, Ryan67, Ferr, Selfproclaimed, Led and probably a dozen other names that i'm overlooking (bigflan was the first troll...although while i don't condone the actions he was mild in comparison to what we have these days)

As for the Friends and Teamates i have encountered over the last 2 years you all know who you are! The list is vast but no one is forgotten (even those that have gone off for greener pastures in retirement).

Nominations:

1) Sgt Rud: It should be no surprise that Sgt Rud is at the top of this list. While i don't personally interact with him very often he is one of the members that provides lots of great intel on the forums and Not just occassionaly. It is constant that his information is up and ready to go at a moments notice. He also seems to lead a helping hand to others and stays positive. This afterall is a forum contest and i think he shines as a forum Leader for others to follow.

2) Mcdoc: A Veteran is an understatement in almost every defenition of the word. He has been here since the beginning. Created the Idea of the Faction Family VFF (Veteran Forum Fighters) and has stayed active all this time. He is the primary rally point behind VFF Alpha placing top 10 in the Battle of Greenland where we earned our PPPPP91 Pounders (best unit in the game IMHO) and has helped VFF stay sucessful ever since. In addition he has i believe 5 accounts that he players in Various factions (multiple accounts in the VFF family) and is just a fun guy to have around.

3) CAR-TOON: Most of you don't know Cartoon but have probably seen him if you have ever come across VFF in war. The reason i want to nominate Cartoon is that he helped VFF come back from its darkest hour. There was a point in which VFF merged and in the process lost its original Faction and the merger didn't go as planned. So we completely started over right before Mexico. Only a handful of exisiting VFF members with virtually NO bonuses to be hand and he helped lead VFF Legends to a top 25 finish. 1 War later more of our lost brothers and sisters united with us to a top 10 Finish and today while we have fewer bonuses than any team in the top 10 or probably 25 we push together to make things happen putting the team before our individual needs. None of this would have been possible without Cartoon and i personally will forever be greatful to be his teamate and friend.

Honorary Mentions:

Devin: Not sure if you play anymore but you were one of the few remaining rays of hope for the forum when it was in its darkest hour. Providing the LTQ intel you did an amazing job and wish you were still around with your positivity and great work (only reason you were a nomination is my uncertainty of you playing anymore)

Solo: A True friend who has been there with me through thick and thin. Always there to provide a helping hand and a great pal to chat with.

Khimsoo: Created the Modern War Toolkit. What else needs to be said? Its the single most useful device out there for the game.

Side Note I officially Join the 2 year Veterans Club: Account Creation: 2011-12-11 14:16

Psst BTW we are still waiting on an explanation on what Warpath to Cuba is going to be needed in order to complete...a list of all the events we need to complete would be nice so everyone can have a fair chance at getting it!

Mee has been our leader, has made side deals, has made mergers, and has kept us outcasts together. He has a passion for this game, and always makes us laugh. He's a great leader and a great friend.
He once saved a baby from drowning by spending real gold.
He scouts WDs like a Navy Seal.
His pics of lamborghinis are amazing, too.
He loves this team and we carry him on our shoulders.
If he doesn't get this, I'm sure he may explode into a ball of flame, and you wouldn't want that on your shoulders, would you, Gree?

Give mee a good look. He's worth it.

Respectfully, I would like to nominate Doctor Death from Team Delta Force for all the hard work that he has done. He has taken it upon himself in coaching/training the young recruits in the forum by guiding them. He also organizes many of the recruits - old and new alike- in how to properly expend their energy on FLTQs. It is not uncommon for him to stay up throughout the weekend of WD to ensure that we fight to our top potential. He leads by example and is often looked upon to help those people struggling. Doctor Death is a legend.

Wow thief, all those names bringing back the memories. I'd come here and defend, explain, and take heat for the pirates. I got a lot of heat from some of my current teammates. I've enjoyed almost all the ones you mentioned, glad to see brons post here again too. I remember the ones that are no longer here in the game with us too, even the ones like sequins and a few others who gave me some heck. It's nice to see there's still some of us old timers still hanging in there.

Indeed, I would like to see everyone who participates in the forum get some sort of reward. I think it's tough to single out a handful of individuals and I am sure we've let a few slip through the cracks such as JMC who was here at the very beginning and glad that Speed mentioned Segwins (sp) who went off to war and we hope is safe and well.

Speed indeed took some grief but he's always been a stand up guy and that earns major respect. Some names I do not recognize though another that springs to mind is Devin who was the driving force behind the LTQ walkthroughs which many of us free players found invaluable.

I've always maintained that it's not the game that binds us all together but the strength of character of the players and after reading many of the posts here I am glad to see that many of you feel the same way. Something we should all be proud of.

I nominate superman, faction leader for League of Vengeance. The faction I'm in.

I think the guy might be insane, he works so hard for the faction. We just went through a merger which is how I came to know him. The guy is constantly busy with concrete deals, etc. Always looking for a way to benefit the faction. He spends quite a bit of money on gold, but never kicks a faction member for playing free as long as the person is active. He's also a recruiting machine. I'm not sure how he keeps on top of it all, but I've come to respect the time he spends to move the team ahead.

The other person from my faction I'd nominate is Matt. He has become a good friend. I appreciate his thoughtfulness and support through the merger and through the tough times we had in our guild. Stand up really good guy,

The third person I'd nominate is cdr shepherd. He is willing to do business on a virtual handshake and trust first until he is proven wrong. That really impressed me. He's a man of his word and goes above and beyond to help you if he can.

well , if i have to nominate 3 persons , i will begin the most respectful one in MW , i nominate Ferr , he is a great person in game and in real , never saw him insulting someone or talking bad to someone , he is Always trying to help the Community and persons , even the ones who hurt him with bad Words , I NOMINATE FERR .
second will Pirate Justice , i don't know if he retired or changed his name , but to be honest he was a real great man , i loved his Words , they were Deep and make you Think , he was also funny and helpful and never talked BAd to someone , you are my second choice PJ .
third will Cap , the leader of The Darkness , a great leader and a real helpful man , i used to play with him for 2 wars and to be honest he was Amazing , a respectful man who knows what say and when to say it .
those are my nominees : Ferr , PJ , Cap
wish i could nominate some more because so many here in the forum are so good ppl and very helpful , but if i will nminate the funniest and cleanest soul here i will go for LittleFruit , funnier than him i will never meet .
thx everyone and thx all my friends who make me smile and help me out .

I'd rather nominate Micky for removing one of your mentioned ones. GREE seems to keep letting your nominee hack, sorry I ment back, more or less...

I would like to nominate Gigs from Strength & Honor.
Gigs is our leader who accepts all challenges big or small, dam he accepted me about 6 months ago.
He is the type of Leader everyone would like to have, disciplined, organized and strategic.
The type of leader who goes above and beyond expectations when completing FLTQ. Sacrifices himself and completes faction events to make sure the whole team gets the prize.
Gigs has returned the fun in modern war for me, guided and helped me improve my stats.
For me this is a way to say thank you very much...
May everyone have a Happy Holiday Season....

Would like to nominate each and everyone of you, some have endured 2 years of Modern War with all it's glitches, hack scams and finger pointing. Friends and foes, we all share a common bond that's being glued to a tablet or smart phone playing this game, most using ludicrous amount of real money to buy cyber gold/Cash to develop an army that only exist in cyber world confines.
Since Gree has seen fit that we can only nominate a player or three, instead of rewarding all players, my votes are:
1) Kat in the Hat, a former WWW and now the leader of WDL after a brief stint as W3rB. Her unique communicator skills managed to keep the factions she has been involved with on top of their game. She is not a heavy gold spender, but gets things done by playing smart and teaching younger players how to do so while beefing up stats.
2) WidowMaker, the original one, been with SUP2 after WWW sadly disbanded. He is the kind of person/player that is quick with a tip or suggestion on how to best grow your army, always have time to discuss best tactics to take advantage of the individual or faction skills.
3) Ferr, agree with most of you a true legend of the game and a player that showed caring about the little guy and the unfairness of the game at times.
Since there should be special mentions, perhaps we should talk about Thief, Honest Abe, Jason1, All Day, Cash ex WWW, SpeedUmp.

I nominate Griff. This was back in Ireland and PUN, Ferr, and Super fought so hard that gree gave a special unit out to commemorate the battle and gree even brags on its corporate website about the amount of money they made that weekend. What no one talks about is the player that made it all possible was my friend Griff. The truth is that unit should have been named for Griff as they were fighting over killing him.

The best part is he did it in stride despite us picking on him for "finding a new way to get a golden army" and saying things like "well, think of it this way at least you won't lose any more units as all the ones that could have died did."

Anyone who takes 45k losses in a weekend and still laughs at jokes deserves a prize

I nominate Fofito, he's ultra competitive, loyal, and patient. I believe he could have chosen to plant his flag in a top 1 or 2 faction and reap the rewards that come with it, but instead stayed with old friends in a smaller lower ranking faction which his value is priceless. I'm sure some of the other high profile nominees are well deserving but Fofito definitely is a top candidate for a special unit since he completes virtually every event presented, individual or team based, regardless of difficulty and without guidance. He is an the ideal client that I feel should be rewarded as he epitomizes the consummate team player which only enhances the Modern War experience and raises the level of play for those around him. He's earned the players respect and I'm hopeful he has earned yours. I'd like to nominate others but he's at the top of the list, "Fo"-shizzle.

I'm an average top 750 player who was until recently a light gold spender (wife saw credit card bill) who is not affiliated with any of the drama of the top tiered factions but enjoy reading the drama on this forum like some twisted tabloid nonetheless. In a sense all you pirates and penguins are the Hollywood celebs of MW - so thank you all for making this game more enjoyable.

That being said there are two people on this forum that we average players are deeply grateful and indebted to. Without thier tireless efforts of posting information on the Boss events and LTQs, it would hard for us average players make good rational choices on where to spend our limited resources. These two people are Thief and Sgt. Rud. Did I also say that they have the best avatars on here ;).

I would also like to nominate a faction mate of mine in the Sindicate, Dirk Diggler. Dirk in his own right could have left us after Brazil for a top tiered faction for he is that dedicated to the game. Dirk has never waivered from his belief that overtime we will all grow and develop as a team. He has served as an inspiration for our faction and helped us each figure out how to contribute to the greater good of our online MW family known as the Sindicate.

If you are looking for a guy who helps the faction above the beyond no question ask that would be The Darkness leader Bap, not sure what his forum name since I havent chimed in here for a while. Heck, without Bap, not only we would not be in top 25, not sure we even make top 100. He is the most active during WD events and participates in all FLTQ, scores at least 1 million points every event if not more, sometimes over 2 million. Couple event ago when gree offered 50 win prize for the first time, he played 29 hours straight toward the end and we got 51 wins. :D As you can see, he is one of few Gree's best customers here hand down. :D If he doesn't deserve to win here, I don't see anyone would. :D

Citalan which is his in game name go way back since about the 5th mw campain and i still see and talk to him we are unseperatable i love him as a brother every day i hope to get off my job just to talk to him he has a great sense of humor and is a great guy to be around we have tried to make our own faction we go to factions together we do everything together i couldnt of have imagined going through this game without him we have helped eachother along the way i know he isnt a big name around the modern war community like theif who is also well deserving but personaly i just love this guy i dont know what else to say even when im in the worst of moods he can bring light into the day. I would like to thank all those great mw players out there but especialy you Gen. Citalan

SGT Rud is pretty awesome, even though his NPC advice undermines GREE's LTQ events and allows players to prestage, which means they buy less gold. So he is great for the players, bad for GREE's business

I agree with little fruit fly that BAP the leader of the darkness should be in the top 10. He puts a ton of time in game and out of game to help members of the darkness. He has and still could be in a top 5 faction easy but stays to help out the group. It's nice being around players that like one another and choose to play together his spirt has shown this many times. He has kept the game fun for a lot of us. The 29hour straight WD event was just one example of how he has gone above and beyond to help the faction. Also he loves this game a lot more than possibly anyone else I have come across and due to this his energy has helped a lot of us through the frustration of dealing with glitches and gree support. Without Bap I think a bunch of us would have quit long time ago.

He goes above and beyond for our faction. We are currently a top 250 faction and would struggle to stay in the top 400 without him. He was responsible for over a quarter of our points during the last WD event. He is always encouraging and would rather see the faction do well over his own personal gain. Thanks for considering my nomination.

Also I would nominate Little Fruit fly. Mainly because when he was active on the forum he kept it a fun place. It's been a bit dull around here since his activity has been down. Also I have seen him put a ton of time in to help during WD events.
I think I it was PJ that called him a legend in the forum like pirate enforcer in the game!

well , i don't know who you are talking about and who got removed , but in my nomination i voted for the ones with pure souls , helpful and makes you feel glad when you are around . this nomination contest is about persons who did great and these 3 are my nominees .
sry but i don't even know who this Micky is so my nominees are Ferr , PJ , Bap .
if there is a place for more i will go for King little fruit fly , Sgt ruud , devin , Thief who is my favorite in boss encounters and always follow his threads ...... but this micky of yours i don't think i read something from him some time . so sorry but those are my nominees and they will stay forever even if you say what you say .

Zoltarov: What can I say, he's the reason I have a composite factory! (seriously, he convinced me to buy the 240 nuggets). For whatever reason, Zolt decided I was to be taken under his wing; he recognized my growth, kindly gave advice, and eventually brought me into his faction, ACE. Z is truly a gentleman. Never compromising for what he believes is right, his integrity is unmatched, and we are all lucky there are still people like him.

Thunder Child: does he have ANY bad qualities?!! TC is an enthusiasm building machine; He breathes life into a game that is dying. This is a player who isn't going to complain about the problem, but rather search for a solution. Charasma and a how-to for everything make him the guy you want leading the way.

Poopenshire: Like it or not, he will tell you how it looks. He doesn't just think, he does, and always more than his share - which is often why things get done!

All 3 fight amongst big guys, look out for and help the little guys, and keep the game honest, which is hard to come by these days. That's why I make Micky my honorable mention.

I nominate Hammer, from the 48th TFW.

Even though the 48th requires no gold usage, we are still able to compete for the top 250 in every World Domination event due to Hammer consistently winning 2000+ fights and scoring close to 500,000 points every war weekend. His stats and gold usage are only a minor justification for the nomination, though. His loyalty to the 48th, his selflessness, and his ability to stay humble after all that he has done speaks miles for his character.

He could easily apply to any of the top factions and most would love to have him. Instead though, he's here every event, carrying the 48th on his shoulders and expecting nothing in return. In fact, when this event was brought up in our chat and the first name everyone said was "Hammer," he was very grateful but asked to not be nominated because he doesn't believe he is deserving of the recognition. But I'm telling you that absolutely no one is more deserving than Hammer. Anyone can use a bunch of gold every month to contribute to his/her faction, but it takes something special to do so and still stay so grounded and unselfish. Hammer has that something special and he proves it each and every day and the 48th is extremely grateful fo him. That's why, even though it was against his wishes, he gets my nomination.

Picking 3 specific individuals throughout the forum and in game is not an easy task. Judging by the rules and the what I think the overall spirit of this contest is, goes beyond just what someone has done for me. Seems like there are a lot of different options and variables to consider. The main question is, what has someone done to go above and beyond their specific player(s) or faction(s) to contribute to the overall gaming experience of the majority of players.

1.) Thief - has most certainly gone above and beyond. His boss tracking has been a huge benefit to the community at large. It gives players the ability to see boss health data and see how far they can make it. Even creating your own post in his threads and tracking your own progress is fun. He responds to PMs quickly and provides answers to the questions you have asked. He even did a drawing a while back for someone to join his top faction for one WD a while back.

2.) Khimsoo - His tool kit app is a must use. Planning upgrades is a feature I have used on a pretty consistant basis. It's free, allows for donations, and self-adjustable to read new data so you can see some things that are coming out is a big help.

3.) Mavrick - His early threads on tips and tricks are a must read. His spread sheets on buildings, units, drop rates, loot items, and costs and balances are very valuable.

There are many greats to pass through these halls.

Speed ump,

Yes it was truly a different time back then. Filled with Strategies and collaborations as a Community. I do remember you being called a hacker back then because no one thought that one individual would spend that much gold on an IOS game (truth be told i never thought i would spend as much as i have on an IOS game). Then we find out there are hundreds willing to spend what you spent back then. I had forgotten about Seqwins as well. I do hope the past year+ was a good year and that he is safe and sound.

Unfortunately the Start of Factions really was the downturn for the Forums. I saw friends stab each other in the back in an attempt to get ahead in the game on multiple occassions. In the end it is just a game and thankfully most have returned to an open communication policy and the forum is better than where it was 11 months ago. (Although i always laugh when a strategy gets posted and everyone screams DONT POST THAT GREE WILL NERF IT....) yes because gree doesnt' have a clue what goes on in their own game.

I think people realize though the Game is about the social aspect. There doesn't need to be secrets or hidden agendas. Its about having fun and playing with friends. Some want more competition or to spend more money and thats okay too!

US Army finished top 22 this war, a new high for this faction... We started as top 100 faction and We built the faction on loyalty ... We still have our core players who started the faction. I would like to take this opportunity to nominate 3 of my factionmates for this award who I think deserve.
1. Robbot : came in to the faction and was proactive in donation, helping in team strategy, helping members to improve their stats, lead the wars and always helped to maintain war ranking what we aimed for. Held the position of DL for many wars. He is faction leader now and boy what a leader he has been! He leads from the front ! The team would not have been here without his dedication and efforts he put in. He held the faction together when many new members left and we were left with 15 members short of guild. He maintained the composure and confidence in the faction when we were down... that paid off and we came top 25... Thank you Robbot.

2. US KING: He is a real fighter, came in to the faction with low level and great stats and started scoring from the first war. He helped us move up from top 100 to top 50, he is dedicated member of the faction. Without his help we would not have dared to go for top 50 and eventually top 25. He showed the path to jump from top 100 to top 25... Thank you US KING !

3. Ozy: Great team member, great fighter! When faction was down because many new recruits had left the faction... Ozy made sure that we maintained the calm ... He actively started recruiting got great recruits for us and now they are part of our core now. We are moving on to become top faction soon. Thank you Ozy for not giving up and keeping the faith in the faction !!

I would like to thank each and every member of the faction for their commitment and dedication for our journey to top 25.. I wish I could nominate more ...

Thank you

As Leader(Mad) of SGWarTeam (Life Comes 1st), I found that this event is great.
Since I cannot reward my Officers for the hard work that they have done.
This is the way for me to say THANK YOU. I really wish I can nominate more.
With great difficulties, I have to name 3 members only and they are :-

1. Sonic Boom - Due to my work nature which need to travel overseas frequently.
He will be glad to take over the leadership role any time and with such dedication.
Keeping our members as a TEAM always and he is full of knowledge.
Needless to say, sacrificing sleep, vacation and even work time(oops!!).

2. Killdore - He does superb Job at motivating our members to achieve targets/goals.
Leading the pack upfront and always imparting his knowledge to the rest.

3. Sniperfou - He does fantastic work by compiling all our members records, activities, etc.
Without him, we will be struggling making ends meet.

I really hope they will be considered for the award. Thanks also to the rest like Asri, Shaneira, Quick Silver, Animal. Once again, thank you for having this event.

Well I have to nominate three of my faction mates....

Sultan Suleyman:

In the heat of battle during a boss event, (we all battle like our hair is on fire), we were trying to get the last hits in on the boss...to make the day three total.....we were trying but just could not get there...we were saving for a faction guild increase and off by about 40 million....this guy sells a mad scientist lab that was level 6 to get the cash....we do the upgrade add the two players....we have a counter problem (it counted backwards at one point)....end up at 398 instead of 400...and all he can say is "well that stinks".....we were two kills short...he sold a le building and all he can say is that stinks...this is the kinda a guy you want with you in a faction....born in the Netherlands....lives in Turkey and just a great guy and proud to have him as an officer in Respect all Fear None.

Second is Jrock:

He is no longer with us in Respect All Fear None, He is a Texican. He was a camper before I knew what camping could be done in a game. He single handedly donated 1/2 of the money to start our faction. He was great in battle. No don't ask him for a concrete block...lol..because he don't have any...but cash he has.....He was generous to our faction and because of him our little faction has such great bonuses. He was an awesome bonuses. He had great game insight offered help to beginning players to grow their iph and not level up to fast. I wish I had followed his lead. He I an awesome player.

Third is Warrends

He posts here on the forum with informative posts, and was a great officer he too is also a Texican now. We was great in battle. He worked with players in their development and to bring new ideas to the game. He was good with strategy and game play. One time we had a war and his Appendix ruptured and he was battling while he was awaiting for EMERGENCY SURGERY.... so this guy has guts. He is always remembered for the positive contributions he gave to us. His departure from Respect all Fear None was Not as I had envisioned for him but I believe he is as Stronger player now and I am sure he is serving the Texicians well.

Like I said...."we just battle like our hair is one fire"

I nominate Sgt Rud. Not only does he consistently post great information on the forum and is reliable to do so, but the information he posts is clearly done so with much time and effort. Nothing he does is just simply thrown up for the sake of being first. Take a look at every post he makes too. Never have I seen bashing or disrespect come from him. When I was in ACE during the battle for Canada we somehow drew his top 250 faction as our final battle and in a mad rush to secure top 10 we scored over 1 million wd on his team. What did he do in response? Jumped on the forums and wrote a nice note to ACE thanking us for the fun experience and congratulating our team. He is selfless and doesn't receive any reward for the work he does, but continues to donate hours of his time to better the quality of the game for other players. He also does an extravagant amount of work for his faction. Between spreadsheets and Ltq sign up sheets and boss kill planning so his faction can kill all bosses necessary for 7 days of prizes, he selflessly devotes his time and effort to see the success of those around him. He doesn't play with tons of gold, he and his wife play the game mostly free and just enjoy doing it. Not to mention they control quite a few devices and during wd events he takes command during the day and his wife takes command during the night. If anybody deserves praise, a pat on the back, and a special thank you from gree and the mw community, it is Sgt Rud and his better half, Chrissy. Hope you win buddy, you deserve it!!

Thief is to me hands down the most helpful player in these forums

Devin was also great.

A player called Junkkicker who is now in FFF was also top notch for AFSO all the way, master of the spreadsheet, and I am still not convinced he ever sleeps.

paul from the faction Zass deserves to be recognized...

paul is one of the kind of leader's that every faction searches for, wants on their side, but few manage to get.

Since I joined Zass 5 months ago Paul has been one of the main reasons I'm still playing Modern War. He's always around to give advise and be a generally big positive reinforcer to all members. He gives it all for his faction and is an impressive person all around. Even when he's raiding he is kind enough to leave a thank you note and well wishes to his opponents. Paul really deserves to be recognised as one of this games foremost promoters.

His early intel in the LTQ's has often helped the rest of us plan ahead and push the rest of us to go further then we otherwise might have. He is a fantastic team player and a good friend:)

My leader Chairman. Just joined his faction about 3 months ago we're I was on the verge of retirement from the game. He runs 2 factions and he makes sure all of us are having fun at this game. Well organized. Not much more I can ask.

Thief / Sgt Rud- don't know them but they always got good intel on the forum.

Ben Dover - don't know him but he's standing tall fighting the big faction.

Speed Ump - don't know him but he's very active on the forum and defends his teammates a lot. Lol. He probably doesn't need the reward as I think he's in the top faction but I'll vote anyways.

I would like to formally nominate Elites 101 leader, Chairman. He is example of what an exemplary leader should be in the game. For over a year he has helped forge our faction into one of great group of friends from all around the world. As everyone knows, this is not easy in the game. Some factions are like revolving doors but he has made the faction such a joy to be a part of that it is more than just a game but a battled bonded group of players. Even those who leave return because of the connections he makes with each and every member. Being a leader is not easy and managing the diverse personalities is even more difficult but the Chairman does it with respect and class. Chairman continues to make the best choices, empower its members and all the while live his own personal life somehow. This is all done while even managing 5 bases! and amazingly his wife is supportive. If I could nominate his family I probably would do that to due to the time this game takes away from his own family. We are not near SUP levels and in the past even below top 500 and 750 but the environment he has helped mold has made members loyal and dedicated to him and not necessarily even the game. I don't know how long I will continue to play the game but I do know that Chairman has made the game as enjoyable as it can be.

Hi i am Billy Barz, the leader of the faction Shaggymoney. I would like to nominate the greatest player in this game and my good friend ever since we've met through MW, Rodel. Rodel is the ultimate MW player and member. Since Rodel joined our faction, Shaggymoney, he has been nothing short of incredible. He joined after the first two WD events started and earned his #1 spot in our faction. Our faction has had a top spot on the leaderboards since the beginning of WD events. And, rodel is the main reason. He fights hard and scores highest in wars, almost every war. He completes every event, individual and faction. He keeps the team together in a time of frustration or commotion. Always helping the faction and strategizing new plans. He is the top donator of bricks and cash in our faction. He shares his itunes cards so others can buy gold who can not afford it at the time. He encourages others to strive for excellence. He is the Ultimate MW player and honored to have him in our faction and considered a friend. With great pleasure i nominate RODEL.

Griff made history taking that infinite amount of hell fire and surprisingly with big smile and amazing attitude ...HORRAAAH "GRIFF"

Well said Dio. We are very lucky to be in his faction.

I second the nominations for SGT Rud,
sgt rud and all his hard work and dedication to this game and community have helped us all in one way or another. Weather using his NPC's list, spreadsheets for fraction events, planning for upcoming bosses, or just going to him for a little guidance in which your never disappointed. I have known rud for most of my MW career and his positive attitude never falters. He is not always pushing to better himself but those around him as well. Rud, what you do for the team is an invaluable asset we cant afford to lose! Stand tall rud, you deserve it! thanks buddy!!

I nominate....

Sgt(Leader of war warblers)- sgt has devoted all his time to being our leader, bringing us from the top 750 to where we are today. It is with his dedication and friendly demeanor that has brought us closer to many factions allowing us to communicate more with others. Sgt selflessly does what he needs to do to get events accomplished and does not complain afterwords! As long as sgt is out leader, I will not leave! Thank you sgt!

SgtRud(officer in war warblers)- rud compiles EVERYTHING! I'm sure everyone has see. His name on this forum more than once! I know everyone looks to his posts for information on upcoming targets! He communicates with most factions in the top 75! That in itself is a feat! I have never heard one bad thing mentioned about him! If you need info, rud is the one to turn to. We wound not be where we are if it wernt for him. Thank you rud!

Chrissy(officer in war warblers)- ever since Chrissy has joins our faction she was concede red the "night stalker". She is the one to play 5 different people's games while they slept to keep things rolling. When everyone just wanted to go to sleep, she would stay up throughout the night and wouldn't complain in the morning. I know what people are thinking... She is from Asia or Europe or something like that, you would be wrong because she if from the states! Nop she doesn't work a grave yard shift at work, she does it because she wants to! Thank you Chrissy for your dedication!

I think GREE banned him because some people offered to help him finance his walkthroughs. Why do they care who pays them as long as they get paid?

Hello everyone happy holidays, very nice to have an event like this for us to recognize our players who we think are important. For my first vote, I would like to recognize Rami from our faction SGWARTEAM. Rami is a great guy, he is always around in our forums welcoming giving advice just communicating, now Rami also gets work done when needed. Rami has 3 accounts 2 of them alone scored 500,000 points in our last war. Whenever we need work done and Rami always dishes out more than enough. He is one of the best people in our faction and is always active. The account I'm voting for for Rami is shaniera her ID is 447-439-795

For my next player his name is Killdore, aka the "mutant" and his accounts are just that. Killdore is one of our lead commanders, he is always around during wartime, and he knows how to make you improve as a player. Killdore is always active on the forum sheet, he always finishes his boss quota and then some. He rarely ever gets less than one hundred kills with his account. Whenever we need advice about anything kd is the man to ask. During war he is always at the top with WD points. I know I think that kd has one of the fastest thumbs on the east coast. He can rack up points like its going out of style. Kd's code is 584-340-521

Those were my two votes for the anniversary reward I believe these 2 are among the best who play the game and they deserve recognition. Happy holidays to everyone.

I would like to nominate the fearless leader known as Blest.

Blest was a contributor on here long ago, started before the first faction wars in Brazil. Went on to create 2 new factions. Taking one called iBOB all the way to multiple top 25's. Merging another faction called iDelph that again stepped into multiple top 25's. And those factions would not have been close to ranking that high without him.

All the while networking with more people than I know. Innovating team strategy and game play, helping multiple factions achieve beyond their abilities. An uncanny ability to keep things simple yet stay ahead of the game. Friendly and helpful, leading by example, his name is known by everyone throughout the top ranks and for good reason.

His posts and comments here and in game, and in private forums, are always leadership material. He makes great players greater, good players great, and so on. Not afraid to make a rival, and man enough to take a hit with a smile and keep on trucking.

He has built factions and rebuilt factions. He has orchestrated and collaborated. In short, he has been a big presence in the top factions and in the forums since the onset.

And if you ride with Blest, you know you are with the best.

COWBOY is an officer in our faction and has contributed to the faction in several different ways. First, he is the DL with nearly double the stats of the next closest person in the faction. Second, he has given advice to myself and other members of the faction to help us increase our stats as individuals and as a faction. Third, he consistently is the leading scorer in our faction during WD events and if needed he is quick to open his wallet and purchase gold to help the faction reach our goals.

Doc is our faction leader and we would not be successful without his leadership. First, on numerous occasions he has given advice to several members of the faction to help them as individuals and to help make the faction stronger, but he is able to do it in a positive manner. Second, he has been the second scorer in WD events and he is fast to open his wallet to purchase gold to help the faction. Third, Doc has fostered an environment that has led to several friendships through the game. Most people in the faction as well as past members communicate in Facebook to strengthen our friendships. Faction Id 39699787.

I just wanted to take an opportunity to recognize another contributor, giving without wanting something in return. I have had the pleasure to watch his work in a much smaller faction where he has been advising on team strategies...a sort of special forces adviser.

This guy's name is General Pain: 193122538.
http://horsesmouth.typepad.com/hm/Ouch500.jpg

He flies a dark flag, nonetheless I respect his drive to help out lower ranked teams.

Like many of you here, he has been deep in the weeds, getting the indigenous tribes fighting on a higher level. Adding the battle tactics and coordination, the tactical adviser does it out of the good his heart. Then he calls in a favor from his own crew to financially assist with a nest egg for the faction being tutored.

He is from a much higher ranked faction, advising a much lower ranked faction, and from what I can tell, he is doing missionary work, or possibly doing some form of community service for PUNishment. But never the less, he is passionate, and is looking to help people, similarly dealing with adversity from the team members that aren't ready to make the change. General Pain, you have my respect.

paul from the faction Zass deserves to be recognized...

paul is one of the kind of leader's that every faction searches for, wants on their side, but few manage to get.

Paul gets my nomination , he is the reason I'm still playing
He is always there for advice and help in the game , his friendliness and helpfulness has kept the faction together , always leading from the front in all events
He has a way of seeing the funny side of all situations , which make the game fun to play ,

I like this event and I can't miss it !
I'm an officer of the best top 200 faction SGWarTeam: play with fun and life comes first.

I nominate 3 key officers (not easy to choose) :

Killdore (Accounts : AdmiralKilldore, Delta Killdore and Killdore):
This man really likes playnig this game. He invested a lot and thanks to him our faction win many wars during WD. He is so strong that we gave him a nickname: the Mutant. He is always active and he pushed all of us to become stronger.

Sonic Boom (Sonic Boom, Sonic2, Supersonic, Sonic, Ultrasonic, subsonic, Siarl, Banana):
Just count how many accounts he has !! It shows his involvement. He helped so much the faction. He deserves one prize for all he already did for the faction. He is our senior member, and his wisdom always helps us to make the right choice.

Shaneira (Duroz, Shaneira, Hajjarism, ISM, Al Hajjarism)
He is so enthusiastic during events to win wars and get prizes that he deserves a reward. Thanks to his involvment we reached nice ranking each WD. He is so active... He is wonderful !

Without those 3 guys, SGWarTeam wouldn't be the same, but not only them. This team is like a family and others dedicated players help to enjoy this game: Mad (Our leader!!), Quisksilver, Asri, Animal...

I would like to nominate my faction Leader of the Round Table Rogues, italo609. His pep-talks and determination made me the player that I am today. After mutiny in our previous faction due to the lack of organisation by the leader, we officers started a new one in which all descision were made with a vote. It was a rough start, but Italo pushed us forward and we continued to climp the ladder. We started as a low top 4000 faction and managed to get in top 1500 with a little over 15 people and pretty much no Gold. We merged with another faction a few monthes ago, that set us at a member count of 27. After dropping the dead wood we were still with 23 and managed to get the 594 place in Italy and 544 in Netherlands. Even though we all have families, jobs etc outside of the Game, Italo stayed on his spot to support this team. After starting a Group on the app "Palringo", the discussion about other things than MW sky rocketed. This has become a 2nd family to all of us.

Also On my Nomination list is Thief, for his input on the Boss events. Ever since I started playing, I have always checked his threads for information for which I'm very Gratefull!

And last but not least is SGT Rud with all the time and effort he put in the LTQ's. This is the way to thank him for his detailed information!

Your fellow MW player,

First, I would like to thank CJ and Gree for hosting the Two-Year Anniversary Community Event. This type of event not only offers us all an opportunity to share opinions of players we look up to and respect, it will also generate a thread loaded with positive comments... which I personally find refreshing, and look forward to reading.
--------------------

I would like to nominate my teammate, leader and friend... BLEST!

I started playing mw in October 2012... I met Blest in November 2012 when he accepted me into his faction (Faction Of Blest). Two months later, Blest asked me to start iBOB (infected Boot Of Blest) with him. I told him my stats were ridiculously low and I didn't think I would be a good choice for a sidekick. He said "Bro, stick with me and I will teach you how to play mw, how to build your stats, how to grow a faction, and how to show off in World Domination events." Two weeks later Blest took our newly formed faction iBOB into the Battle for Greenland. We placed 243rd.

After that first WD event Blest earned his stripes and put his money where his feet were. Yep... his feet. He rifled down our list of members and "booted" every player that wasn't active in Greenland. He kept low stat players over high stat players in many cases based on participation and communication. Blest built iBOB for the sole purpose of competing in World Domination events. He insisted that iBOB should be the fun, positive and successful faction that everyone wanted to join. Blest wanted iBOB to be the team that delivered a top faction experience without maxing out credit cards or draining bank accounts. He assured the remaining members that by following his document "The 7 Steps of Modern War Strategy" we would not only survive - we would thrive. And thrive we did!

Battle for Egypt - 53rd
Battle for China- 65th
Battle for Ireland - 39th
Battle for Colombia - 31st
Battle for Madagascar - 61st
Battle for Poland - 31st
Battle for Australia - 22nd
Battle for Canada - 23rd

There was never any doubt about who was in charge. Blest made it very clear, right from day one, that he likes to win. This awesome track record was a result passion, a well-organized and informed team, and a war strategy that evolved and improved with each war. Blest ruled the roost with heart, praise, and tough love. Then, just before India, the faction Blest worked so hard to build, fell apart. iBOB finished 119th in India. Many players left during this time. Blest assured the loyal followers that remained that he would turn it around. And he did. Blest negotiated a merge with Delph and we became iDELPH.

Battle for France - 25th
Battle for Mexico - 25th
Battle for Italy - 25th
Battle for Netherlands - 26th

Well, there you go. There is the entire year of Blest 2012 in a nutshell. I could tell you so much more about him, like how he was banned from Funzio's website for a period of time and why... or how he woke up one day and found that his faction had been hi-jacked... I could tell you about all the times Blest quietly bailed the team out by funneling money to other players for gold... I could mention the myriad of players and leaders from other top factions that call Blest their friend. I could talk about all of the top ten players who called iBOB their home before moving up, all because of Blest. Blest's management style is cutting edge and effective. Blest has a magnetic charisma that pulls you in and makes you want to be a part of the magic. And that's exactly what it is. Magic.

In closing, I would just like to say...

- add BLEST (359-661-831) as an ally!
- please CAST A VOTE FOR BLEST if you would like to see him on the winner's list!
- we will see you all in Cuba!

I nominate three members of Blue American Dawn :
1. Gee, our spunky leader. I don't know how she does it but she has a way of talking with people that makes them feel good so they want to come along. I hear that females much less female leaders are rare in the game. I know from life experience that men resist female leadership. But gee stands up to that and commands respect while remaining kind. She listens to people and helps all to feel valued. Her gentleness recruits good new people easily but she is not afraid to cut slackers. I looked to join other factions and found the leadership to be harsh and demanding. That is not gee's way. She simply asks and people want to give generously. While I hear of others quitting factions with disorganization and leaders who are overly demanding, we have several new members who wonder what took so long to find BAD. Gee brought Blue American Dawn up to Top 400 in one year.

2. Boogieman is an officer in Blue American Dawn. He has helped to bring the organization along through selfless donation of cash obtained from massive amounts of time raiding. He also contributes incredible knowledge of the game through not only research on the websites but also his own intellectual efforts. Another thing that Boogieman does is keep the social aspects of the group going. He talks just about any subject with ease and humor.

Commander Buddy is a long standing member of BAD. He served as interim leader briefly. As the leader, he gave generous recognition, support, and respect for each member. When not the leader, CB sits quietly in the background still offering the wisdom and energy of a fatherly figure something who holds the brood in a big safe container. When it looks like the battle is a lost cause, CB helps the team keep the eye on the ball, strategize, and we rally again. CB has been very generous as a scout and cash donor as well.

My First nomination is our defence lead Bafana
He has double of the faction average attack and defence stats, but he stays faithfully with our faction even he has good offers from factions that are higher ranked than ours. During the WD events, if he finds a suitable victim, and if he is angry, he is turning green and scores over 100k in one battle. It is impressive to see him destroy singlehandily a hole faction. Outside the game, we had good conversations on our chat client Palringo, where he is the admin.

Second nomination is Larry.
The man with a plan. Creator and admin of our website and spreadsheets. He is the man in the background. His work is sometimes not visibly, but without it, our faction would run around plan less.

My third nomination is my faction lead Bluemind.
He accepted me around 6 month ago with very bad stats (100k Attack lvl 206). He gave me a chance and with the help of our great faction my stats improved to nearly 2m. He is very fair and patience with all the members of his faction. He has a good sense of humour. I’m proud to be a part of supercell and honoured to have the greatest lead I meet in the game. Thank you blue for the chance!

You can thank Micky in large part for that.

micky mac is the best hacker in the game man. have you not seen his abiltities to hack into peoples
accounts and scan their inventory and change it at will??? mic mac is a gree employee who shouldn't be allowed to be in sup. he hacks SUP to units they don't deserve and they never have to spend money bc
guess what, he hacks it for him.

Trolls don't need to respond to this, go hide under your bridges.

why hasn't he gotten the hackers from sup kicked out then honest abe???

answer that

I nominate RYDER. ..
I have played this game pretty much since beginning. I have came across and battled with many people. But no one compares to Ryder. We have battled together for quite a while now. We were part of a great faction. We fought day in and day out together. He taught me so much about this game and has guided me in the right direction and boosted my confidence in it as well. He gives 150% in all he does in this game. Whether its pushing himslef to new limits or guiding lower level players in the right direction to better themselves.
He had a vision to take his knowledge of this game and his experience to create a faction from scratch. I created his dream for him and started his faction up for him. He has done an amazing job and is pursuing his goal of building an empire of a faction! I'm watching him help all the members with all their bases and stats daily. He took thr faction from out of rank one war all the way to the top 1000. It doesnt sound like much but it was an amazing accomplishment. The faction won 18 in a row! He gets my nod of a pproval for his dedication towards other players big or small. His time and effort may go unnoticed but he deserves this acknowledgement.

with my last two nominations, I would like to nominate two of my current team mates, I would send a shout out to grumpybear and E-toon as well, but they are elsewhere, It has been a hard decision for me, there are so many worthy nomiations.
So ths is what I have decided:
nobody level 255, one of the best guys I have ever met in this game. I will explain more later.
fly level 286, one of the best woman I have ever met in this game, same expanation.

There was a time when VFF made decicions to merge with others, and initally, it worked out well, but we had to leave some of our friends behind. Once that happened many of our left friends were soon to find different homes. I can't fault not one of them. Then it became apparent the merger that led to another merger, was not about friends. It became about points.

Once I decided that our friends were more important than stats, and had seen the direction that was going. fly and nobody, went well out of their way to merger both fly's and nobody's old teams, to give us a faction shell, to build upon.

I couldn't be more proud of any team, from that day we have accomplished a lot as a team. 14th with 26 members, then, we got more of our friends back, we were 6th and in last war we were 9th.

None of this would have been possible without them.

Having been around here since almost the beginning, I vote for Micky as well. If people actually followed what he has done for the game they would understand that he has done more to protect people's "investments" than anyone else including gree. People don't be under some illusion that gree would police itself if they didn't think they were under a watchful eye. Does anyone really think the box event last month would have been shown to be what it was? Wake up and smell the coffee.

Thief - wow, you've survived GreeD for two years and you're STILL giving. Amazing work buddy.
Sgt Rud - your data is as helpful as Mavericks and Khimsoo's always was.
Thunder Child - I watched this guy quit about 6 months ago. he did it in spectacular fashion as well I might add. Sold off the WHOLE base, wrote the farewell thread in our faction forum, and donated enough to buy us a nice faction bonus...only to get his marriage repaired, get his job back, find his lost dog, get his boss out of jail, save princess peach and bring world peace all in one fell swoop. If you think that's amazing, mull over this jewel: he convinced GreeD to restore his BASE! Now, if that's not worthy of a nomination...

Honorable Mentions:

MickyMacIRL - the guy has done more than I know of in terms of ridding this game of the hackFest it used to be.
Khimsoo - ToolKit - ftw
McDoc - a helpful guy all the time around here

Honorable Mentions from back in the day (in honor of the TWO year anniversary):

TrampStamp - Original Spreadsheetster
Digital Camper / Digital Walker -this guy invented the no IPH raid your way to cash method that PUN popularized.
Maverick - 2nd and longest spreadsheetster - he still loves us, but work and family are priorities.
Devin - He's not coming back guys. He won in ways that many gold users only DREAM of beating GREEd. (can you say SCREEN CAPS? let's just say some GREED employees learned what NOT to say in the forums on this one)
JMC - first to 200K DEFENSE for FREE

I nominate GENEN in sup2

Reason:
I am his step dad, I have only stated playing this game due to that little bugger. Every month my credit card bill used to be maxed out, all payments he made on my card was to App Store Modern War Gold. I am not as hook on this game as GENEN my beloved son, him mom is so fine, finger licking good, I seriously can't get enough of her. GENEN sometimes likes to watch, yes he is kinda wired. I balm his odd behaviour on this game, since this game game out he has never been out of the house, he hardly has shower, he sticks of sh*t, his room is like a pig pen, all he wants to do is Tao the bloody screen. I've even caught him with his eyes taped open, when I asked why he had taped his eyes he goes he didn't want to miss a hit on WD. GENEN hasn't had a girlfriend for 2 years now, I caught the little bugger tugging on his thing while looking at one of his inventory he won during last WD. I truly believe he deserve this reward as he has devoted his life to the game, I wonder what would happen to him if gree was to close shop. gree make this child's dream come true, this will be the best Christmas present he has ever got.

Holy F...i take back my Rud nominations (sorry RUD lol) and put them all towards BAP from The Darkness....This guy is a legend. He brought me in as a little weakling from day one before BFB and BFG. I was like 40k stats at the time and was in my very first faction.

The amount of time and energy this man puts into the game and his teammates is unreal. He was the most organized...talented....and cheerful leader any bloke would want. I think he set the standard for how factions were supposed to be. He didn't judge based on the fact that I was a free player...only scoring 50-100k WDs while he would blast off 9 million alone lol. If nothing else...check his gold usage gree...off the charts lol
BTW..thanks gree...I am glad to see a TDK unit in the next mission.

thank you BAP and GO DARKNESS!

and RUD can have one of the nominations back...he is still sexy lmao

I am not really actively following forum recently, so sorry guys who are newcomers and do great job now - I just don't know you.

It is a pity that we can nominate only 3. I would have more.

But here it goes:
1. Maverick - he made a huge impact for me without knowing it. Because of him, I am controlling my game, not vice versa.
2. Devin - maybe it was generally one episode, but it made a huge impact for the forum popularity and the way to share and collect info. That's how forum should work. And Devin did it.
3. Thief - for long term performance.

As I cannot nominate more, it does not mean I cannot mention more:
Agent Orange - for huge knowledge
Miner - he is the man. I have huge respect for him.
Bronson - for his sense of humor
Seqwins - for raiding me and forcing to open my eyes and start to think how to play the game. For his community "events".
mxz - who helped me more than he imagines he did
Dutchie - not for his forum activity. For being my faction friend since very beginning, for showing great skills of leadership and for his extra activity. Get some rest, my friend.
WarPriest - for his extra activity in forum, when I joined. McDoc, Thunder Child, Jhoemel, Poopenshire etc.
speedump - I always saw the logic and opinion in your posts.
Hello Kitty - for helping me and many others with information collected.

I am sure there are some guys, which I missed - sorry for that.

I nominate Morphlingman, the long time leader of Forums Finest Fighters. Morph organized FFF when factions were first announced, and led the faction by example - strategizing, scoring, recruiting, assuaging, cajoling and sometimes rationalizing (as during the several controversies involving suspect players in the game (but never in FFF)). Morph kept the records, suggested strategies- and never ever ever gave up even in battles that seemed hopeless to the rest of the faction (if Morph decided to go for it we generally would win- 45 guys attacking the CC in the last minute is something you have to see to believe). Morph treated the lowest faction stat guy as well and as importantly as the power guys and was always there for the slightest need. His ability to keep morale up resulted in FFF moving quickly up the ranks and in the game, the faction multiplying into several subsidiary factions, and the game continuing to be fun and rewarding for quite a few players. The fact is you don't see a lot of FFF players faction jumping - and it's all due to Morph.

If gree is truly looking for an "example" of someone who led by example, contributed to the game, and influenced many many players in the best possible way......then Morphlingman is your guy.

Zachary's Dad is our current faction leader. We have always been Hard Core Training (HCT) and i myself would like to say that he has carried us a long way! last war we merged with another group and managed to pull off 15th place! He must be one of the games best players that isn't in SUP or any of the top 3 crews. He really does put alot of his personal time and resources into this game and I believe his hard work needs to be rewarded "handsomely" and not just with a 20/20 unit with so and so stats. Im talking the big unit with HUGE STATS and might I also add that he has a son who also has a character in the game. He is a modern war legend, and for those of you who haven't heard of him.. YOU WILL! VOTEUP people!!!!

We'll have some other things going on, but we wanted to do something community-oriented as well. A lot of crazy and awesome things have happened in the last two years.

Are we going to see an le building as well or it's just this event?

1. Doctor zoidberg (in game name is Doctor) he has helped our faction to be what it is today with out his guidance the previously top 1500 SUPPORT OUR POOPs could not have made it in too top 400 at rank 386. For this I is the reason I believe he should be nominated. With out this man I would still be in a top 1500 faction.

I would like to nominate the below three members of my faction:

1) Leavitt - For taking us to new heights and putting up with all of us.
2) Crazy Canuck - Almost completes the faction LTQs for us by himself.
3) MD (Middle Earth) - For being a great officer and helping out others before himself.

HenryVIII
12-14-2013, 03:37 PM
Also, maybe a sea based LTB

As far as community based events:
- Name an item contest (preferably decided by gree so as to not make it a biased contest)
- Add me Monday, Trivia Tuesday, Etc..
- AMA threads
- Free gold given as a prize to forum members most helpful. (Thief or Devin for example) I am thankful, and I know many others are for the work they have previously or are currently doing for forums.

I'm sure I'll think of more

Do my current recommendations still stand in this post I made in the community ideas thread which may have actually been the idea behind this type of forum contest?

And do I get a prize for my idea being chosen :) ?

I nominate these 2 players for the above specified reasons.

12-14-2013, 05:17 PM
Nominations:

Ferr - Should be obvious. He may be retired and he may never use the bonus unit, but few individuals have had anywhere near the impact that he has had on the game and the forum.

THE RIPPER - Leader of TKO. Like us or not, TKO has a very important role in the dynamics of this game and THE RIPPER is major influence. He may not communicate so much on this forum, but he shares plenty in other venues that allow more freedom of speech.

Panzer - Operations leader for TKO. Instrumental at holding the team together and coordinating activities. Panzer is a major part of the reason why the top of the WD leaderboard isn't completely covered with SUP factions.

Since people seem to be making multiple nominations and this in no way should take away from my nomination of Micky, here are more.

Speed ump. No one can imagine how much he does to keep the sup empire together. Playing multiple games, helping more than one team. On top of that and once again despite all the nasty comments , Stephen is a great guy. No one has put together a more organized and powerful team than Stephen (and others). He has done this in a very selfless fashion. The time sink is unimaginable.

You have no clue what you are talking about. Perhaps you should go read back through the last two years on the forum to understand. Pure ignorance at best. Perhaps you are a hacker that had his account banned?

micky mac is the best hacker in the game man. have you not seen his abiltities to hack into peoples
accounts and scan their inventory and change it at will??? mic mac is a gree employee who shouldn't be allowed to be in sup. he hacks SUP to units they don't deserve and they never have to spend money bc
guess what, he hacks it for him.

I would like to nominate jhenry02! I pride myself on being a 100% free player on all gree platforms. When wars first started I was down in a top 1k+ group where I was the strongest at 40k stats at lvl 21. Jhenry02 gave me the hookup and let me into his top 25 he was leading for 9 wars. I am/was (dont know anymore) one of the top players at my lvl because of him, not needing to worry about collection times etc. Because of him, he made my gameplay super relaxed and because of it, made others play more relaxed as well, because I've no need to rob anyone!

i donīt like this Nomination too as there are so many teamleaders who ALL deserve a Price for motivating their Crew to Keep on playing this bugged game and have fun within the Team.

maybe - but not really convinced - some Players who post good stuff in this Forum as they did a good Job for the community deserve a reward.

in my eyes this should be:

- SGT Rud for his npc lists
- jhenry02 for a lot of screenshots

The backbone of our faction I'm new to this game and she has all the a answears last wd she pulled us out of some serious battles we made the 50/50 4 times now and without kim it would not have been possible even when matched with a much stronger faction Kim figures it out and finds a way for us to win. Not to mention she is always our top point getter no matter how hard I try to beat her. Without her we would be a much weaker faction ,we have a saying. In Kim we trust. Kim is up all hours day and night very dedicated to the success of the faction

1. Diver Guy- he is always incredibly helpful making sure to get information and intel out as quickly as he can.
2. Kermit- in Jedi warriors Kermit has helped many of us in this game. For a year I played this game with absolutely no idea what I was doing. He took the time out to tell me the best way to play and get stronger, and it took a LOT of patience!
3. Mcdocs- also incredibly helpful if I have a question. And also really patient. Always looking for ways to improve things from the game to intel.

There are so many who put so much effort into this game to help out everyone. And just would like to thank all the nominees because obviously u put enough effort in to help others and it was noticed.

I want to nominate the Faction Leader for SemperFi (no space) Col Sanders. Our faction code is 772639961. We have placed, as a faction, anywhere from top 1000 (starting) to top 100. We have recently scaled back the faction and play the events goal by goal. He helps us keep the game in perspective and emphasizes fun above all else. Most of us have been with him since very early on when WD first started. He is amazing in his game perspective and does not push us to spend too much or let the game rule our lives. Without his leadership, many of us would have tired of the events- and he has a knack of knowing when to pull us back.

Our faction has grown close, and become very good friends, which would not have been possible under any other type of leadership. There is no infighting, and he is at all times creating a family environment for us. As a faction we have been through many difficult personal times, including him. We have had relatives lose homes to fires, dealt with spouses and family members who are fighting cancer etc. On the flip side our first faction baby (it's a girl!) is due any time now.

We see pictures of each other's kids, talk about parenting and politics, and get rowdy and have a good time. He is considerate and kind, but knows how to wield the axe if someone is not pulling their weight or are disrupting the general flow of the faction. We have spouses who are welcomed and play their husband's accounts when they are unavailable. We have our kids accounts in the faction (although we are careful not to have them in the adult Groupme conversations lol) so we can have more family time when the kids are interested. We have members who have visited with other members, and we are still in touch with some members who have moved on to more competitive factions. We have recently begun opening our doors to lower level players because he thinks it is important to share not only what we have learned through gameplay, but also to share some of the benefits of being in an established faction which many cannot do because many factions are solely focused on what a new player can bring them instead of what the faction can offer a new player.

Personally this game, but more pointedly this faction, has been a lifeline for me. We all come to the game for different reasons, and mine was dealing with a sister who is young and dying of cancer. I needed this game, but more importantly I need this faction. The support is overwhelming, and makes me realize I'm not alone in dealing with these difficult real life issues. The alternately ground me and distract me! None of that would be possible if Col Sanders wasn't dedicated to us as a faction. The environment he created is a testament to why he is a great person and businessman.

1. Boss 178-851-930
Boss makes my number 1 nomination because he has always been there for me. He has showed me almost everything I know about this game and has helped me try to perfect it. He is the leader of our faction. He is always willing to help others in the game. He always listens to what we have to say and he doesn't judge anyone. He gives us advice and he takes ours into consideration and leaves the faction as a whole to vote unlike other power tripped faction leaders. He never cuts out members that aren't completely up to par, rather he helps them grow because he sees something in everyone. And he kicks a** in the events, not only for himself but for the whole faction.

2. Roberto 388-321-975
Roberto is willing to blow through gold like it costs him pennies just so the rest of the faction can get some shiny new units. He has been through the bottom of the pit with the rest of us and help pull us out to get back on top. He works hard on gathering intel for the faction and helps guide us in the events.

3. Simando 297-486-701
Simando is dedicated, I mean the kind that will run into gun fire to save your life even if it means losing his own. He doesn't care if he has to break walls all day long as long as he is helping the faction. He donates more than he needs to. He is just a loyal guy. He'll follow us wherever we go. He is a TRUE soldier.

4. (Honorable Mention)
Colonel Fun 276-165-136
He really is fun. Lol. another loyal dedicated member. We've been through a lot together and we really see eye to eye.

Thanks,

Ment to do this before I left the game. So my nomination is my last post.

Thief ... I don't know him but always appreciate his comments and insight. Certainly given so much to others.
Sgt Rud ... Again don't know him but his helpfulness and kindness especially to those "planks" who don't read up the threads, is outstanding.

Lastly to Pirate Justice. A wise soul. The first to have a 100% gold army in the days before indestructible units were showered out like confetti and I believe the first million stat player.

There are many many more who deserve this reward and if there was any fairness in this game, every player new or old would be rewarded the same... as new blood is just as important as us old timers are.

So as said. I can't stay and support a company that operates such "sharp" practice.
Good luck to those staying. Have fun. Have respect for others. May your God go with you.
Bye.

When I saw this thread I immediately wanted to vote for our defense leader Kim . She really does go all out and is loyal to our faction. She puts up scores and could easily get in a top 25-50 faction but instead stays with us and helps us compete for top 150 every WD. She is a monster and keeps the game fun and the chat room fun as well. Please consider Kim.

He brought another dynamic to game with his fairness and great personality ...he is always out on a mission helping others in his faction and out side of faction.

During hard times and just disappointments with things going on in game Reutdog held his team together. He stood strong during our "match up" issues during war, team was gutted to miss out on top 10 units. Yep...TBC had some rough times but Reutdog is always out looking for the next thing to inspire peeps to play. His positive attitude and the fact that he doesn't give up easy keeps his team going. Those who know Reutdog are attracted to him like magnet and it's not because he is a very funny dude! It's because Reutdog is just plain and simple a cool dude. He is a team player ...he is competitive ...never lets his team down and will bend over backwards to keep his teammates happy and together!

I can post a long list of all he has done ...but might be long. So just rather say that Reutdog has been a game changer for me and many ...I will never forget what he did in past for me. We didn't know each other too well and I had issues and couldn't buy gold for war. Reutdog with out saying a word to anyone just put up my points so I wouldn't get booted from faction! There I was worrying ...helpless couldn't buy gold so figured ok I'm gonna get booted! I was so embarrassed about situation I refrained from posting in chat. Well the following day I was still with faction and I found out from leader what Reutdog had done.

I was touched and never expected this especially from someone who didn't know me well. Funny when I confronted Reutdog to say thanks...and to reassure him that I will make this up, do points for him next war. His exact words were ..."No worries, I'm glad I did points for you , you are a good team mate I'm very happy to play game by your side!"

Been with TBC since beginning of factions...have seen great leaders come and go.
I have been the right hand of a few of them ...I'm the last original member now. Never in all my gaming experience have I met anyone like Reutdog. He is respectful towards all ...his leader quality was an evidence to me way before he became leader! Once he became leader only continued to prove he was a great leader and that all can count on him to take us far and fight for our goals. He pushes all to go beyond their limit and I'm not talking pushing to spend! I'm talking making US all wanna fight hard for our team. His energy is just crazy...and all those that are lucky to be a part of this feel it! Reutdog is great strategist , a wonderful orator...open minded and understanding. Treats all equally and supports his team mates during hard times in real life. I saw him do what he had done for me many times. Reutdog is generous and if he can help he will. It spreads beyond our faction those that come across him are quickly fascinated by him. What a charismatic character...an honor to play with! Woof , woof ...long live the DOG!

Right on iddy, I'll add in my vote for reutdog too, along with Jason at The buckwheat connection they are shining examples of how to run a faction! Only having been in two factions since the beginning myself and pretty much been an officer in both the entire time bar a war or two, I know a lot of what goes on behind the scenes to make thing happen. How running a faction can be almost like a full time job, especially from the beginning, great credit to bap from the darkness for his early example of what it takes to make a successful group, but you'd be my third vote iddy, for staying positive about all things gree and carrying on having fun despite all the reasons you had to walk away you've stuck to the task with a smile on your face and your loyalty shines through!
A big shout to all leaders still ploughing the fields since the beginning, think you all deserve a massive unit in your inventory from gree instead of them trying to stick it where... Well I won't spoil the post but you know where I'm coming from! Happy Christmas to all!

You have no clue what you are talking about. Perhaps you should go read back through the last two years on the forum to understand. Pure ignorance at best. Perhaps you are a hacker that had his account banned?

maybe you should read the threads, that Gree has taken down already, that showed proof that micky mac has the ability to scan peoples accounts. I know u are sup to be defending him but even a sup member with common sense should know a gree employee should not be playing the game. there have been numerous posts with snapshots showing micky hacking peoples accounts to scan them at will. please shut up or put up.

You show a total lack of common sense and shortsighted if u want this game to continue. For the record, Micky has never "hacked someone's account". Gree has shown itself either disinterested or incapable of policing itself. If anyone has an ability to see massive cheating like the box event then I for one am appreciative that the light get shown on the cockroaches and that gree knows that people have spotlights so they perhaps take it seriously. This was not the first box event that had issues as I can remember several others (I'd bet they all have!!!) and I'd like it fixed. Would you rather it get swept under the rug and the paying customers take it on the chin?

When I saw this thread I immediately wanted to vote for our defense leader Kim . She really does go all out and is loyal to our faction. She puts up scores and could easily get in a top 25-50 faction but instead stays with us and helps us compete for top 150 every WD. She is a monster and keeps the game fun and the chat room fun as well. Please consider Kim.

Steve ( sj )

I totally agree with Steve. Kim is the reason I am still taking part in the Dutch Marines faction in modern war. Without her motivating leadership dutch Marines would not be the succesfull and pleasant faction it is now. Her contacts are well known all over the forum and Modern war. I like to ask you to consider Kim.

what would u call it if a player is able to gain access to ones account and scan their inventory the way he does? I don't mind if he is a gree subcontractor hired to do a task, but he shouldn't be allowed to play in a faction. he uses his abilities to give sup an advantage by looking into players accounts. he also is suspected of messing up servers during wars when sup factions are paired with TKO or other factions which may give them a hard match. he should not be allowed to play while he gets paid from gree. which sup are u in to keep defending him and what he does??

First off let me say I think that all the active loyal players of this game should be rewarded and not with a dinky little reward but with something with some kick to it.

That being said I would like to nominate 3 members of my Faction that have been a great part of our faction. while we are not a super power we do have fun. we are normally ranked in the top 1000. our best finish was 345. we have been here since the beginning of the factions and many of us were here before that. We are the US Marine Corps faction 429770000.

My nomination are.
ACE faction code 429770000 She has been my right hand in the faction for a long time. she has helped keep the faction moving forward. getting info off the forum and posting in the faction forum. keeping everyone up to date on the latest info. She has posted on individual walls when players were not pulling their load and often times getting a lot of bad feed back for her efforts. while sometimes a little over zealous in her approach she always meant well. she has helped organize events keeping up with who is doing what in an effort to make us more efficient. This has made my life much easier as the leader.

Second nomination:
Jaeger faction code 429770000 He was one of the first persons to join my faction and is still with me. even though I was a much lower level player than he, he decided to join me and stick through the ups and downs. in the early days he was the one who did the organizing and was my sounding board when I had issues with players that did not pull their load. He has given advice along the way and is greatly appreciated.

my last nomination:
Jerk faction code 429770000 Jerk joined us from one of the top 100 factions. he had had enough of the stress of a top 100 faction and was looking for a place to have fun. He brought with him lots of advice and insight. He still has great advice and is a great motivator to the team. He is a team player a great officer, he works with the team members helps them with staying focused on what the mission is. He helps organize the faction events.

These 3 people along with the rest of the faction make this game fun. We are not going to make any of the developers rich but we will be here to enjoy the game for some time. Please think of us little guys when you are developing missions in the future.

Beast, this thread as stated by op is just to list each persons nominations. I have issues with a couple of the ones nominated here, but have kept my two cents and criticisms to myself. Start another thread on the subject where you can discuss that if you wish. Let's keep this one clean for the subject at hand.

Believe it or not but I still check in once awhile just to see how certain people are. And THIEF is number 1 without question. From the early days onward. He's always been there and provided. Some might say this is a popularity contest but this is after all a contest to honor those that have been there for the game ,players and community.

Number 2 . Mcdoc for starting the VFF " Franchise" as I like to put it. Sacrificed a lot of time and money to keep things up and going. Finding ways so each member can enjoy themselves in one of the many VFF( FORUM ) factions no matter what their financial situation was.

Number 3. I know this might sound crazy and granted I was never and am still not a big fan of the guy. Pirate justice. Besides his obvious contribution to gree with the first all gold army and untouchable stats. His constant trolling to take on gree at times when gree seemed to get out of line and forget the players. Granted I couldn't stand his trolling, but it was that trolling to help keep people reminded that this is after all just a game and not to take it soo seriously.

PS. Just a thought. Bring back the Name the Unit contest. And I'm still waiting for my choice to be chosen. Haha. " Political Persuasion " ;)

Sgt Rud- He always has great information and goes above and beyond to help everyone out no matter who they are. If it wasn't for him I would have quite a long time ago.

You must be one of those guys that also would rather not allow the NSA to track terrorist phone calls. Then you wonder why there is some event. Or maybe you're one of the hackers from the last box event? That seems more likely. When you play with fertilizer and diesel sometimes your hands get blown off...

Messing up servers? Also hacking groupme? Lol. Was he also the man on the grassy knoll? Perhaps he works in Area 51. The smoking man? Wait, no...he is really Jim Morrison! Please.

I agree with Steve and Sjaak and have to nominate Kim from Dutch Marines. There are so many great things that can be said about her so I will try and keep it short. She is the heartbeat of our faction and without her I don't think the Dutch Marines would be what we are today. She could have left and gone to a higher ranking faction but she stayed and became the leader of our crazy faction, which speaks volumes about her loyalty. How she is able to handle the wide variety of personalities that coexist on our faction is truly amazing, and her commitment during WD leaves with her many sleepless nights. She is a major reason why I continue to play MW and I'm thankful for being in the same faction as her. This award was meant for a person like Kim.

So ur ok with a GREE employee being a member of a faction that has the power to scan accounts and mess with you connection with gree servers.

btw: you may be ok with invasion of privacy but not everyone is. sometimes I wish I could meet up with people on here and do some ****** kicking lol but oh well its a fake world on here anyway. if you think im a hacker, surley hacks a lot micky mac would have found out. seeing he was the one who was scanning those accounts from that box event in question. figures you would not know anything

have you not seen the issues certain factions have had only when they have paired with sup factions and no other factions? surely this isn't a coincidence, seeing how a gree employee is on sup1, I don't think those server error messages factions get when paired with sup1/2 or any sup for that matter is a coincidence.

I nominate Panzer from TKO. I’ve been playing this game for more than two years. During this time I have met many people and made many friends. Panzer is on a level by herself, both as a player and as a person. She is as effective of a leader as I have ever seen, spurring progress and generating buy-in through positive encouragement and by leading by example. I liken her to that elusive exec who quietly puts in 18 hour days, listens to and respects everyone from the CEO down to the building janitor, and is first to make personal sacrifices for the good of the company and her employees.

She is also fiercely competitive. Panzer’s name consistently finds its way to the top of our faction’s scoreboard. But unlike many top performers, she gracefully deflects the attention away from herself. You won’t see her on the forums bragging about her stats, where her faction placed, how many points she scores, or how much money she has invested in this game. She distances herself from all of the drama that so frequently fills these pages. Honestly, it wouldn’t surprise me if many of you are asking yourself, “Who is Panzer?” To me, her humble nature is her greatest quality. In a game teeming with “look at me” egos, she truly is a rarity.

I also think the respect that she shows for all MW players and for the game itself makes her deserving of this honor. She’s not a trash talker, nor does she bully players. If she’s attacking you, it’s likely only to trigger a boss, collect crates, or rack up an obscenely high amount of WD points for her faction. She has been known to drop off large amounts of cash and bricks at small factions. But you wouldn’t know that unless you happen to be one of the players in that faction or get wind of it through a friend of a friend of a friend who knows someone in that crew. You will never see her change her IG name to “I’m So Virtuous” and open a thread announcing her charitable intentions. She does it out of the goodness of her heart – to help the little guy – not as a publicity stunt or to stroke her own ego.

Like many other members of this forum, she actively works to protect the integrity of the game and wants to win only if it comes the right way. She and the other TKO leaders refuse to harbor hackers. No glitch exploits, scanning of player accounts, spies, rogue declares, or account resets on her watch. Just sound strategy, effective communication and coordination, strong teammates, and a grit and determination to win. She plays hard, but always operates within the confines of the rules and stays true to her values.

Panzer is one of the primary reasons I am still around. Whether she is one of the lucky few chosen for this honor or not, I consider myself fortunate to have battled by her side. You may not realize it, but trust me when I say that the MW community is better because of her.

My second nomination is Gigs of Strength & Honor. He does more with less than just about anybody else in the game. Over the last four months he has transformed a top 500 faction into a consistent top 50-75 crew that has completed every single faction LTQ, secured 50 plus wins every war since this marker was introduced, and even picked up one or two of the top streak prizes. Gigs has done a masterful job of blending and harmonizing gold and gold-free players into one cohesive fighting unit, which we all know is no easy task. He is a friend (and even a counselor) to many of the S&H members outside of the game. An all around good guy and good player. Strength & Honor likely wouldn't exist without him, and many of its members would have left the game long ago if not for his leadership.

I'm sorry to spoil the party and I definitely do not wish to sound disrespectful. I also want to say very clearly that you are all entitled to your genuine heartfelt point of view.

Personally, I just can't see there is any honor in what is a semi roll play pixelated world.

Sure some throw down for a team event. I have done that many times as many of you have, but I don't see any particular honor in it. Some of us have spent more time or money than others, some can hack, some can use glitches and some have extraordinary access, while others are proud of their tactics. That's great if you like all that, but honor, respect etc is a long way from there.

My respect and honor goes out to the service men and women in RL. The fire fighters and police, Drs, nurses and all those average Joe's who for a moment in their life, just do something extraordinary under extreme circumstances. And there are more of course.... But in a pixilated game. I think that is stretching it beyond the outer limits of extreme.

I say again, I do respect your right to feel as you say.
