I myself I am stuck on the jar event for two days now. That is with 1800 gems spent. Please let me know your experience so that Gree can see what to do in the future

No gems spent, have a couple of hundred gems for the last hour, on 8/10 for free. Tips for events like this:
1. Only spend gems in the first and last couple of hours
2. Set a budget before you start
3. Remember odds are worst when you have 9 with more than 3 hours to go and more than 3 hours from the beginning. 3 hours is a ballpark figure, could be more could be less.

Was stuck on 8/10 for two days, got 9/10 this morning and spent 400 gems for the tenth. First non war event I ever gemmed but a 20% machine bonus and 25% infrantry bonus was too good to pass up. I know cj54 said it was based on number of coins you had only, but someonengave me the advice that 24-12 hours left was a good time to try. Maybe not, but it worked for me.

not a single person in my guild finished the even but a lot of us got 9/10. I was also getting really frustrated since I got the crappy units the entire last day but oh well. on to the next event we go.

I never waste gems on box events. In my experience, it is a waste. Others may not share that opinion. One of my players had 9 for four days, the other received the 9th yesterday morning. The gem use only guarantees the opening of the box, rather than a guaranteed required unit. I have about 10 'other' units of 145 at/def and opened fairly well on the hour, using only game gold and one decent unit. I had a lot of ' sorrys' in a row, so GREE's statement about 'fair' chance of opening with gold, isn't accurate. Addiction is GREE's desire and I'm sorry, but it won't be mine. I keep gems for the war, because I like the wars-(but not every 17 days). Apart from the dire match up calculator, that's a fight for a win with another team, not a unit based on a fluctuating probability. My choice and I'm merely expressing my opinion here.

I haven't done a lockbox event for about 4 months, ever since i spent 3000 gems just on the tenth and never got it, most players hate them but there must be a lot of players who still shell out a pile of gems otherwise they wouldn't have one every month

In total, I, too, spent over 1800 gems on this ridiculous event. That was with 3 days to spare. I set my alarm to every hour, on the hour, to include nights as well. When I began this stupid 1800 gem spending spree, I had 9/10 coins. That was at a minimum 72 chances to earn a coin. And I won't even go into how many times I recharged to try extra times. It is practically impossible that I could not have earned that coin, as well as countless if other unsatisfied patrons of this game. Gree is somehow managing to control us. Making me lose sleep, as I'm sure many others. I lost so much money to this game and didn't even receive the reward. I feel outraged against the corporate greed of this company. This game is suppose to be free. I'm certain Gree got their name from the word "greedy" because that's all they are. Can you all even imagine how much money they made last night? And I bet you not even half a percent of those people frantically spending hundreds of dollars in the final hours even thought about getting a coin. Gree, you are pathetic. You are an embarrassment to the gaming industry. And I am ashamed that I even associate myself with you. This game has become an addiction to not only myself, but to countless others, and you have realized this. You are capitalizing your filthy money right from under our noses. I hope everyone in the entire KA nation reads this post and realizes the truth. And Gree, I hope you get brought down to your knees. I hope you give the people what they deserve. My point is that there is zero strategy to this game, it is strictly who can spend the most. In the past, stronger and bigger guilds (not fun and RK) had an advantage on events due to size and dedicated players. Now, nothing. Just gem until you die.

Yeah. These units for inviting new players shows how desperate Gree is to replace everyone who is leaving. But I don't think it will be successful because all of these quests will be near impossible for low stat new players.

I can't respond to the poll since none of the choices are my vote, however, having multiple kingdoms, I can tell you that while I only dropped <250 gems across all of them, I opened and had 35 gems before one kingdom finally got #10.

I opened, on timers, every hour I was awake everyday of the event. The kingdom that got #10 had 9 after 2 days. I got #10 with 4hrs left in the event.

The others ended with 9,9 & 8. Yes, the others 9's were there for a minimum of 2 days also.

I understand that the odds for gaining #10 are worse than the others, however, as one would indicate, the 'perception' that it's easier to get during the early hours (days) v the later part shouldn't be allowed and would be cheating in my opinion. If we're playing a game of odds, then those odds should be there from day and minute one to the last minute, not fluctuate across the event. I should have the same 2% chance at #10 on day 1 and I do on day 7...

I could scarcely imagine a professional casino, or other business that ran operations based on odds, having their clientele accept floating odds based on time they're playing. Think I wouldn't frequent that establishment upon learning this information.

I will say this, after I received #9 on the one kingdom, I noticed a SHARP increase in 100/100 units and sorry, so much so, I was shocked. If I had the time, I should've logged all my opening to see what this worked out to with just my kingdoms, % wise.

Those events are philosophically based on a game called Kompu Gacha and in that game the odds of gettimg the final card are around 8%.

Your sample set is still way way too small to see/calculate their odds. You would need at lease 1,000 to 5,000 openings and logged everyone of them to get an idea of what the percentages are.

Forums attracts complaints, not victories. For every complaint, there could be 5 or more people that got 10 coins free or gem. You just don't know because most would not come on here to boast about it.

I may just have to leave my top 10 guild and become a free player, Several hundred of us do that and Gree would make some changes for sure. Why lower the price of events if there are people willing to pay it. There must be some extremely wealthy people into this game, I make a pretty good living but I could never afford to throw $1k per month into this iOS game.If they would just stop the insanity and play free for a while a mountain for gems would go down to $9.99 where is should be. I have no problem putting in $50-$100 per month but asking for thousands to keep up has gotten out of hand.

they did settle a lawsuit, but the system they use for box events is still outlawed in Japan. At least as far as i understand the law they made, there is not a single guarantee you get the item, so its outlawed.
