You no longer will need to close and reopen the game to get to the ticket.

Gem Mine:

This building displays and icon when you have the ability to get free gems by watching the short movies.

Tap the building and the movie starts.

The scratch and wins are only available every 3 hours for short time(end of the holiday season)
And
Not everyone gets free gems for watching movies, I have never had that option, just tapjoy offers.

Commercials (videos) are only available to certain countries. The number of commercial also differs from country to country. If you're in the USA, you get the most commercials, 5-15 per day, some rare times even 20. If you're in China, you get 1-3 per day.
