Thanks. I'd like to say that it boosted my stats a little but it didn't. What's the point of handing out units that are worse than black rock battering rams which also don't make the inventory anymore? This is a Ponzi scheme. "Congratulations you've won........a steaming pile of poo."

Same here. Got my #10 for free. Was at 8/10 for almost three days before I today got two coins again. Also two of my guild mates got the tenth today. One use very few gems, the other I guess was also free player.

From the posts I am seeing in the forum and in my guild, it looks like quite a few are getting the 10th coin using just gold, and many are spending mountains of gems and not getting the 10th coin? Maybe gems don't actually increase your chances of getting a coin when you open the jar, just helps you get extra low-power units? I myself am stuck with 9 coins using only gold, I did try once using gems to open the jar for coin #10 and just got a useless unit. I'll be sticking with gold from here on, seems like the chances to "win" are better with gems but chances to get coins are about the same whether you use gems or gold.
