It's most likely multiple Tournaments to show that it is not a one-in-a-time event. This will probably be the revamp of the Arena as we know it, or at least be for a long time.

Challenge in Arena is quite hard to think up. It'd be interesting to see how they would do that.
Perhaps sell certain kinds of power-ups for a handful of gems? Although that would actually make it even less challenging when you have the money.

I think this update may actually have some promise. I would love to see an expanded arena with the use of friends or somehow 5v5 / 6v6. In any case, I doubt it will be the same arena with new prizes.

But this is also a free to play game, which means new content will come out slower than pay to play games... it's just the nature of the beast. Let's give em a chance with this one before we ream them a new one.

If I had my way, it would be a system where you still get points off-line for defending and winning, and lose points if you are defeated.

I know it would give the already powerful upper tier an advantage, but it would be a different challenge. No more win streaks. Just straight up normal attacks, with a "zero-sum" attitude of gains and loses for points.

I really hope they don't pull the same crap again, with merely increasing the quality of the rewards slightly. They did say 'more challenge' so that could be a good thing. They have some pretty intense PvP quests in other GREE games, that include winning over 500 battles during a certain timeframe. Something like that with increasing rewards could go a long way.

The Beast Chest had a higher rate of giving Epics than any other chest. Plenty of us got multiple epics.

I got a Tectonic+ and a Beastmaster in the 22 or so chests I got from completing the quests.

I think GREE has been quite nice to free to play plaayers as well. Tect, Meals, Blaze and Moon can be fused.

So I think new content is good for everyone. F2P will get it eventually.
