Thursday is the start of the new Boss event, and, at least in the US, Thanksgiving. We all know we are MW addicts, so how are you planning to get your boss kills in around your big family Thanksgiving dinner?

I'm missing an option..
-ignore it
It's a shame on family holidays!

Well since I'm from the UK it's not a problem, but if I was to choose I would just ignore the event during the time.

Being from Europe I miss the following option:

What the heck is Thanksgiving and why should it affect my boss event?

Its a 7 day event.....and Thanksgiving is the first day (which means 1 hit kills for any bosses that someone is supposed to kill on that day anyways....I don't really see it impacting anything.

Serious question (being a European). In practice, do you still give thanks for something or is it just a public holiday to spend with family? It started as giving thanks for the previous harvest but I guess things have moved on since then

Not specific to harvests now, but many families have traditions where each person gives a toast or tells what they are thankful for in their life or in the last year.

The first couple days I can get it done in like 10 minutes.

For all those in the old world Thanksgiving as it is billed today is a time for thanks in the bounty a good fortune that we have experienced here in the new world. Traditional dinner is turkey, and symbolizes the Indians (native Americans if we want to be politically correct) helping out the original pilgrims who sailed over on the Mayflower led by William Bradford get through the first winter here in the new world. When George Washington gave the Thanksgiving proclamation his speach was to dedicate the holiday in giving thanks to God for the Constitution.

On a modern day consumer note the day after Thanksgiving is known as Black Friday when retailers in the US go from running in the red to running in the Black in the run up to Christmas. I saw that it was posted that Gree was going to offer a 40% off gold sale on Friday. Anyone can confirm that?

The founding fathers of the US proclaimed that a thanksgiving is a day to thank God for the freedoms that have been bestowed upon us. Fast forward to today's presidency... Obama has called upon his Obamanites to spread the word of the Messiah (Obama) of how great Obamacare is and why everyone gathered around the table needs to sign up immediately. I am not joking at all. This is what this great nation of ours has become! Propaganda for socialism.

My dinner will consist of strawberry tea and spicy chicken sandwhich from Wendy's. So it's boss all day from me.

Of course. My family is awesome. But not that awesome to not get my money and a few kills. Theyll be watching football all day, anyway.

If they start talking Obamacare, more Modern War.

Yes, I give thanks daily but on this holiday I practice giving thanks AND eating - alot! Besides all this, I will get my Boss kills in without smearing food/cake residue on my devices. Happy Day everyone and Happy Thanksgiving too!
