Hello everyone. This is the forum knowledge section. I will be using this to help instruct people with basic forum knowledge.
Part I- Customising your profile
You have made your profile. You see everybody else with cool signatures, and avatars. How can you change this stuff? How can you make the forum more optimal for yourself? Well, prepare to learn.
To create your signature, click on notifications on the top right corner of your screen. Click inbox. Then, go down to the bottom left corner of your screen, and in that corner are buttons such as Edit Signature, and Edit Avatar. These are pretty self explanatory. For signature, click on it and input stuff you would like to let people know about you. For avatar, you can put a picture. This picture has to be fairly small to fit.
Alright. You now have an awesome signature and a cool avatar. The forum isn't very convenient for you though. It is hard to find the new posts. To fix this go back to where you found your signature and avatar at. From there, underneath the option to edit your signature there is a button called general settings. If you click on it and scroll down, there are options for thread viewng. A personal reccomendation is changing it to linear-newest first, and 40 posts per thread. This will make it very convenient for your viewing purposes.
Okay. You have a good viewing setup, and a cool signature and all, and you want to post a thread. First think. Is this worth looking at? Most of the time the answer is no. If it is, you must do something first. You have to have at least 13 posts to create a new thread. Posts could be easily acquired by providing feedback, posting in the add me forums, or in the guild recruitment forums. Now that you are ready, you go above the stickied threads. Click on post new thread. From there, just customize how you want the title, what your post is, and then save it.
BBCode-
You are now a regular on the forums. You see people with snazzy images, and fancy text. You do not know how to put it on yourself. Well, I have 2 links for you. These will help you with the basics and color.

This may be sort of confusing, so be sure to ask about any questions. To put images on your signature, you use the code
[IMG]URL[IMG], with the chosen URL in place of the URL. This may be challenging, but you will get used to it.
Advanced tools-
Renaming Threads-
You have a thread posted, but you're not getting the right type of feedback. You want to rename it. First, go to the thread you want to rename. Above the first post you see, there is a blue bar. An option on this bar is administrative. Click on this, and then move thread. It also gives you the option, to rename the thread. Rename it, and then move it to a different section. Then move it back to where it was originally. Make sure you click the right tab!
Please give me all of your forum tips! I will add them.
