These leader board case events are just pure gold spending competitions. No strategy, no "skill", nothing. Just who can pay more to open more cases. So why not just do the event as an auction and do away with the pretense that its an "event."
The progress and strategy of the auction progress would be more entertaining for the 99.999999 % of us who are not involved in the chase for top 250 and have no shot at it, ever.
