Im realy p....by gree now. Im spend more then 7000 gems for this Quest. About 4000 just to try to get the Lost Unit the Frist Frost. Still Not Unit now.
I send 3 Tickets to gree now to ask. I think that cant be normaly. And yet still Not response.
Im spend about 1000€ on this Game per month, and gree can still not give a response on a symple question.
That is to much.....im realy Sick now.....

Pls gree give me a response from one of my Tickets. Thank you

At last, somebody who I'm smarter than. I realized it was another hoax at 500 gems, it took you 7000. The real smart people are those who didn't use gems.

its a random drop event. stinks that you've spent this much. most don't bother with box events for the same reasons

This is a lottery and buying more tickets makes the odds better to win, but there are no guarantees. Spending this amount of money on a lottery is not healthy. I really dont understand what you expect Gree should do? You didnt win on the lottery. So?

I have no Problem when im Not spend so many or only 500 gems or so and im Not got the Unit. Random sorry i have Open more then 400 boxes and i never got the last One that is Not random. More then 120 Times the Same Unit lol

The Box event is a lottery. The difference between Grees lottery and other real lotteries is that with Grees lottery you dont know the odds before.

Not my intention to rub it in but just stating the obvious it's a lottery box event . I got the frist frost today . I Don't use gems in box events . I'm missing 3 units for the LTQ . All gold open option . Def won't get the last 3 but hey u never know .

I have the same problem, just need a fowl carver. I was suckered in on the first day, the drop rate was great. I bought a couple mountains of gems and got all but the Fowl Carver and also completed the 100 kills. Well...since that first day its been nothing but the same low level unit repeatedly after several more mountains. Such a sucker, fairly new to the game and thought it was actually somewhat possible. Wish i would have done more research on the forums and saved my money. If it matters i finally gave up -.-

I understand the whole IAP thing but this game goes well beyond that if you ask me. To lower the drop rate after the first day on the units we need to complete the quest makes it cheap and dirty imo. Just a scam to reel in the most amount of money instead of just making it fun and costly instead of just costly.

Lesson learned. Game would be great if you could eliminate the greed, about time to leave that review.

i have multiple First frost and so on i got the Cheif Mage the other day but i am gemming to stay in top 250....why cause bonuses gems are used and still have 600 left , this being said, normally i do not do these events , but everyone will be chasing a different unit , its random if i was to use gold only of free opens i would still be trying but i was lucky first day i got 6 of the 8 in first few hours....i know some of the top 10 leader boards had over 150 baskets and still missing 1 unit...with multiple units the same..its random but i think the random determined by your global position EU chasing different from USA to Aust/Asia so forth

I can't agree with the statement it's a lottery as it isn't. You only can call it a lottery when you know your odds and those odds are measured and trackable.

Personally i can only advise any player, rich or poor to not play these box events for the simple reason you better can go to the casino and invest your money there. At least you know the odds and if lucky you win money. At gree you don't know the odds and best case is you get a virtual unit which is worthless after some months due to stat inflation.

Kind off harsh. Think twice before you spend... And keep enjoying the game.

By changing the odds during an event where real money(IAP) is being spent is just absolutely wrong on every level. This is just to increase revenue and lead purchasers into believing these items are more obtainable then they really are(by increasing odds to start the event and later decreasing them drastically). If you can prove to Apple that this is indeed happening you can receive a refund of all IAP's from this game for the past 90 days. I know, i have gone this route once before with another game that tried to scam its community. Over 60 people in my guild were completely refunded by Apple. If you let them get away with it they will continue to do this and it will only get worse. Hit them where it hurts, the pocket book. Don't spend, and request refunds if you think these things are indeed happening. Change will have to occur but the community controls that change.

I'm somewhat new to this game but after looking over some posts i do see a trend in increased difficulty for the events where IAPs play a huge role in success/failure. I have seen first hand the changing of drop rates on the quest in question here.

Consider the amount of money you could receive if Apple gave you back 90 day refund from this game. I know not all of you use IAPs but after looking over the leader boards for this event and doing the math it's apparent that some people are spending a lot of cash just to be lured into giving more and more.

I have 11 Thankful Myconids, and 6 Earthen Mages.
Gold opens only, I am currently 5/9 of units, and only have 9 harvests... hoping to get the 10th.

I have lost all faith in box events... but this was long before this particular box event.

Its not a secret this is a lottery event. Its also not a secret drop rates get worse during the event. So what do you complain about? Sending a ticket is just stupid. If you want to be sure you get something for your money, use it for other events.

Only thing that is different in this event IMO is the fact that almost only common units drop. Usually the commons drop at the beginning and at the end more and more rare appear. I had 1000 gems ready for this event but as I still only get Thankful Myconids, and Earthen Mages I saved them.

I wanted to gem the "collect" part but after reading all this I will keep my gems in my pocket.
I got 16 cornucopias, and am still missing 3 units. As all of you I do not have a shortage of mushrooms and mages. I might feed the mushrooms to the mages and have a psychedelic party with them :cool:

I'm opening with gold like 14/day and have got 6/8 units and 19 Fresh harvests. I'll get the 20th harvest of sure, but not likely both the missing First Frost or Harvest Storehouse.
I have seven Myconids if I recall correctly.... And duplicates/triplicates of most other units too.

No gems for me for any box events, it's not worth it. Gold comes, gold goes, therefore I use that as my opening option.

I am gold only user . I am very thankful for all the gem users for funding such a great game. I really enjoy the game and getting a free-ride from all the Gree(dy) players. I got 10 harvest thingmajigs and 2/8.

I can see the difference in the stress-level in this game is directly proportionate to the Gems you spend.

With two minutes to spare I got my 25th Fresh Harvest, while on units I stayed at 6/8. I'm happy with the results as this is the first time ever I have have got the 25 units in a box event. The 8/8 would have been nice, but with gold only you have to be very lucky.

One of my guild mates got 26 Mycopians and 22 Earth Mages, but not the 8/8. He was a little bit frustrated to write it nicely.

Ended ! Finished 164th but leader said I was only 5 baskets from top 250 must have been lots after me then!
Ended with 47 Mushroom.....maybe make a compost outta them as they are all useless !
Gree can I transfer these units to my LLP?
Or you can buy them back at 10 gems each which Is fair price!

I'm a free player, and i agree that the box events is getting much harder. It is impossible to get the grand bonus unit without spending gems. I remain as a free player, as i know that there may be a tendency to get too "sucked in" once you start to spend on the gems. In any case, i suppose everyone have the freedom to exercise the choice you want, free or use gems. This box event has finally ended. Hope gree will relook at the whole algorithm again. It is just putting people off the game.
