At least your game of poker is a fair game ;-)

No servers or other technology messing up the game play

Nevertheless, a lot of money is involved and such kind of money guarantees misuse unless strictly monitored which is not the case with pokerstars ;)

Employees of said company messing with the servers and game play.

I never understood poker apps. If you're paying money for it why not just play at a real casino?

People may not have a casino near where they live. Plus if you play on an app or online, you can stay at home and be comfy. Cheaper to drink your own booze and can even play naked if you want.

Because not everyone has a casino within driving distance and some countries like the United States have some screwy laws about online gambling.

Again your inability to read the forum is amazing. At least you are consistent. Wingman was referring to Ferr's original post that had nothing to do with online poker, that was brought into the thread by another post later.

The clue is in " at least YOUR game of poker is......"

Texas h. and Tournaments only. Cant do the sunday million on a weekly basis though as i need my sleep ;). As to safety of the game I just dont know. It is hard to believe that it is 100% fair considering the huge amounts of money, no regulatory laws applicable and the tempting ease of corruption.

You timed your departure well... this game is going down the toilet. I play Texas Hold 'Em but with work colleagues once a month although not for serious money. It is a great night and we have a good laugh. I prefer it to playing online so that you can at least try to read people properly to see if they are bluffing.

Doing this with friends once a month is perfect entertainment. As to MW there is solid proof that it is massively hacked in the top and for that reason alone i recommend a change of scene.

Poker is the game of earning money which people want to play online. But yes if you don't know the poker strategy then you might lose money a lot so better is to get knowledge of poker tips to become a poker star.
