this is about the decoration item: Park Bench (wooden bench).

what's wrong with that thing? i tap on anything around it blocks away, but that badass bench gets selected! dirty badass bench!!

I had to ban the damn things to park bench hell.... frustrating as all get out. :D

I have a badass lamp post in my hood. Maybe we could put them together and make a evil super hero pairing of park bench and lamp post??

Every decoration acts that way in my hood(esp. park benches, lamp posts) so I've sold them :)

Serious note, I do agree the decorations are a bit of a distraction during upgrades and building hoods in general. Simple solution? Move the park bench!

It's damn annoying. I have to enlarge my hood and find the one mm of space that doesn't select the park bench

It was very annoying, until I deleted the damn thing. I couldn't select turrets/other decorations nearby. The only solution is deleting it and hope it will never happen again.

true that .. there are a few decoration items that just won't allow selecting anything else. i can name many of them: park bench ($500), traffic light overhang ($100,000), subway entrance ($1,200,000), park trash can ($500) and some lamp posts .. sometimes, even that sidewalk palm tree ($4,000) is a pain in the rear. unless u move them away or delete them, there is NO way you can select other stuff around them ... the "most notorious" of all of them is that freagin park bench!
