Stats for the plus armor are exceptional. I have nearly 2800 ATT with almost 2300 defense. Farrrr from sub par.

Real reason was because I was opening one at a time ( just in case the one at a time myth is true) so I didn't actually need 300. Although now I wish I had waited till I had 300...

Well, lets take a look at the total stats... (Assuming 10% all elements)
Northerner Battle gear+ 2074 att 1611 def 1 element bonus. = 3685+369=4054 total
Soulshard Necromantle+ 2087 att 1478 def 2 element bonuses. = 3565+714=4279 total
Beastmaster Battlegear+ 1707 att 1806 def 2 element bonuses. = 3513+702=4215 total
Aegis of Sky Majesty+ 1904 att 1607 def 2 element bonuses. = 3511+702=4213 total
Forgestone Aegis+ 1804 att 1673 def 2 element bonuses. = 3477+696=4173 total
Maelstrom Irons+ 1944 att 1536 def 2 element bonuses. = 3480+696=4176 total

On average the Northerner battlegear+ is about 170 total stats behind recent Epic+ armors. Add in your 7% Guild Champion bonus for an extra 15 stats-ish behind. Granted, at about 7 or 8% all element bonuses the Epic+ will be about on par with the other Epic+s, but will eventually be eclipsed by a good 2-4% total stats.

Also, the non+ version isnt all that great either compared to other recent epics. :P

Well, based on the comments it seems like the Epic ratio is indeed higher. A lot did actually seem to get an Epic though not all are satisfied with it.

I blew all my money last time so unfortunately not gonna try it xD new armor looks cool tho

If you do, don't buy the 10 at a time deal, buy them one at a time.

Well, the plus side of opening one at a time, is that you can stop after 3 pulls if you get the epic. You don't have to "waste" the other pulls from that 11/40 at a time bulk pull.

Don't think there is enough data to every answer if there is a different % chance between the options.

Haha, I'm sorry for you. I don't buy gems, so I try to get Epics through fusion and a few chests I can open with free gems. I haven't had success with either, sadly.

The odds of an Epic + from a box are approx. 1-2 in 1000. Most of the ones i have seen on friends and guild mates are from box.

I just don't get why anyone would buy chests to level an armor when you could easily level armors with gold and materials.

Overall even with a x4 box the odds are stupid low. The odds get worse to improve your armors as you obtain more epics also.

I don't know how much money you have to blow to get full team of epic+. I was very lucky that one of my very first epic is an epic + from chest. can you imagine? 30 gems and I got a majestic +, I still could not believe my luck to date. I've seen badtouch leader opening 30+chests everytime a new chest came out and he still has not gotten an epic+

I swear gree see's the big spenders and gives them lower luck as to keep spending for the epic+, while little spenders havea better chance to get them to buy more chests by giving them frequent epics

I didn't mean that they had a Maelstrom+ and a Tectonic+. I meant, 2+, meaning numerically 2, or 3, (or 4 or 5 or 6 etc. except that 3 is the limit for arena).
