So do you guys think it's worth leveling the normal and getting the + version or should I just level Aegis + which I already have?

Depends on the level of your Aegis+. It's an adjacent elemental combination, and many schools of thought will attempt to convince you that having 2 of those is definitely a good thing.

My personal opinion is that it is more important what your leveling ability is for armors. If you are capable of leveling a non-plus to 35, and a + to 70 (which is not given a bonus by snakeskins), in a reasonable amount of time, then it is in your best interest to pursue that. However, if you are missing a large number of elemental combinations and are a casual player that cannot level a full EB+ to 70 within two weeks, you may consider keeping what you have. I will suggest going for this one if you have horsemans. If you only have hydra hunter and not a large amount of friends, it may be worth taking the week off (from crafting, not from killing), and focusing on getting what you have to max.

Edit: Also take into account that this armor has closer together stats and higher attack, whereas Aegis is very defense heavy. Worth a mention.

I was hoping that this was going to be a non-Spirit. Some were sure that it was going to be Fire/Wind. That would've been alright.

My main three are Earth/Spirit, Earth/Water and Earth/Fire. I kinda don't see the point in getting this + armor. They'll probably make the next EB Water/Fire just to screw with everyone who is going for this EB+.

I don't know how you guys figure out what the stats of + armors are so quickly, but I think I'll just wait and see what the Armor Data sheet says. Maybe I'll get it.

Far too heavy on the right side of the element diagram this past month or two. Need some Water and Wind in there to even it out. Wish I would've went for that Leviathan awhile back.

seems like a bunch of possible element combinations were skipped before returning to the spirit/earth then spirit/fire routine (the first two epic bosses I encountered when I started playing months ago). Maybe intentional?

They seem to value certain element combinations more than others. In my time, I've seen a lot of F/S, E/A, E/W... and 2 F/W, and I think only 1 A/W.

Excluding, of course, limited time edition chests.
