Did that 3 times already. I've had difficulty connecting before. This is different. I see all the friends and can add them, but their armor is at level one. Everyone is like 800/800 -- that's not a connection issue, it's on GREEs end.

OK -- an "update" flashed accross and now everyone is back in their maxed armor. It was like looking at everyone naked. I snapped a couple of screen shots.

I'm on Boss 59 with 8.5 hours to go. I just clicked on my friends list and EVERY GUY shows level 1 armor with no bonuses. WTF GREE!

Fix this error asap! Timing couldn't be worse than the middle of the boss challenge home stretch.

Try to go to the friends list from main menu to refresh your list, and go back to the boss screen friend's list again.
My friend list on the boss screen is often busted, and that's how I fixed it.

I'm trying it over and over - just the spinning elements and a pop saying server is unavailable. Seeing the naked level 1 friends list again on boss screen. I'm on the last boss and running out of time to get this done.

Now I got a different message that "updated information for my friends is not available" - and then back to all level 1. Already lost too much time to do a 5/2. Getting spinning wheel and Error 17.

Tried switching from WiFi to cell data and that worked. Unfortunately cost me 12 gems since I didn't have the energy to do a second attack to get the last 5K.

Glad you fixed it even though it cost you gems. I often have the problem where it simply won't load the FL for an eb. Going out of the menu and going back in usually solves it though (I'm on Android).

Yes, the game does a hard crash when I access tge friend list... happens about half the time

An error I get is that sometimes I can't access friends for the boss.
I farm snakeskin to trigger the boss. DANGER pops up and brings me to the boss but some error prevents me from using friends. I need to exit out, then go finish the Gorgon, collect rewards, and then manually return to the boss to attack with friends. At least I found this work arround.

Try clearing cache, then when u restart visit friends list. That's worked when this has happened to me.

same thing happened to me, so I figured I would take that opportunity to fight my friends with lvl 1 armor. When I went to fight my friends, it connected to the server and fixed the problem. Yay, but didnt get to fight friends with lvl 1 armor :/
