Faction ranking/points

I believe that the points system should be based on the amount of energy used to defeat a target rather than a set amount of points per target, as the first player to start the FLTQ gets heaps of faction points because their targets each require little energy e.g 40 energy x 8 and one can build up a large amount of points in no time.
However those who come online later come across much more difficult targets e.g 350 energy x12.....
I think it should all be relative to the energy required to take down the target, it's unfair as it currently stands.

Then ignore the points system. Some faction leaders use it. Others don't. We use it ... sometimes. We rotate a lot of members in from our junior faction, having a main member step out for a little while. As soon as the main gets back into our main faction, their numbers reset to zero anyway. It's a tool that can be used. Or not.

They do change. Earlier targets are of 1 point each, then 3 points each, then 10 points each. And so on. But you are right, people early on will accumulate points faster and to higher quantity than players taking out targets at more advanced levels. It is going to boil down to communication. Not every faction is is set on groupme or line, or something else. But you guys are communicating in some form, might be in the on game chat tab. Either way, your leader and officers should be checking on who is doing what. If your not hearing from a player through most of the event, but he takes out most of the lower levels....

Trying to set up each person and what their role is for FLTQs is not easy (well might be for all gold factions), but with a mix of gold and free, or just a free faction, you need to have a certain level of awareness, communication, and proper planning to be able to achieve the most units you can out of an event like this.

And yet you don't get a single faction point for any of the WD events or FvF, where you can carry an entire faction to prizes they wouldn't dream of getting otherwise. How's that fair??
