how many units of each type can you take to battle?

i was just wondering if there is a limit of how many units of each type you can take/count in battle.
for instance dry docks cash unit is the most powerful (attack) when fully upgraded, so why upgrade the others for a lesser unit when i can just buy a ton of top dry dock units? any insight is greatly appreciated.
i realize soon these wont make a diff, but right now there still supplementing my stats by a little

There aint a limit just until your at your 3k if you had no other units you would take those 3k into battle

Why would you still buy cash units?

lo yeah i still have 4m valor , just hoping gree well have something else to use those for.
if and when i do use them ill use them after i maxed out my facilitys/or rank to get the best bang for the buck

Put the cash into LTBs or faction donations, you'll be getting better stats by doing so

I believe you can have up to 750 units from each category. 750 air, 750 sea, 750 ground, and 750 infantry.

Yet my stats still increase as I buy hundreds of EADs, up to over 1200

those cash units wont soon fit into army, better donate it to faction to get better bonuses and upgrade Urself some money buildings

didnt they just increase it to 3000 units from 2000 units?

I would think that if they did it would increase our att/def stats...right?

Because I had bought a hundred elite helicopters with like 1.5Million Valor and it did not increase my stats. I assumed this is because those units did not make it into my top 2000 which is what the limit was when I bought them. NOw that there is top 3000 I would think more units make it into my att/def stats... but noticed they didnt change when we went to 3000 limit. anyone?

question is do you bring 3000 of your best units or an equal amount (750) from each group. infantry, ground, air, sea. i think it's your best units no matter the number, but would like to know the real answer
