Quest or not for upgrading your Witch's Lair isn't worth it. I think once it is upgraded, you better make sure you collect it on time, every time, every day no matter what. You've made so many enemies, that I don't think there's much hope of you getting any peace much less keeping the friends you think you have. Unless, of course, you're paying them to be your friend. One would think you would use your Gems you spend thousands of dollars on already to do this upgrade. But I'm just a small player in this big game who hears most everything and I'm only the messenger. So, I actually thought you might be interested in knowing what a hole you've dug for yourself. But then again, maybe you don't care and didn't want to know."

Do you feel better now that you've raged against a complete stranger, who has done nothing to you, about an online game?

You can bait me all you want, but I'm not going to get into it with you. I will just point out that I am nothing but friendly and apologetic whenever I raid someone. And I am only raiding to fund the absurd witch's lair quest that Gree created.

If you don't like this situation, you should complain to Gree. Or if you prefer to continue projecting your rage onto a non-threatening, anonymous target, by all means, keep harassing me. I encourage you to combine forces with all my "enemies" to take whatever retribution you think you deserve....

Maybe, but there's probably more to it. My guess is that Balien's husband is probably a bit of a bully, and she feels like a victim. Perhaps she plays KA to escape from him. But he is also the father of her children, so she won't let herself feel the full extent of her anger towards him. It would just be too painful for her to acknowledge the truth about him. So instead, she chooses a non-threatening, anonymous substitute, and gets to feel all these negative feelings in a "safe" way, through the anonymity of an online game.

And voila! That's how you get the crazy message I was so fortunate to receive. I mean, there's got to be more to it when a person gets so angry over something so minor, right? And her tone is so selfrighteous and serious...it sounds almost as if she's trying to defend her helpless children from an abusive father...

Apart from that i really think this tree quest is BS. This could be a good, fun event that everyone could finish. Instead it favours the big guys that can be overvault, and for others it must be a pain to be attacked and raided all the time. But in the end, all that want to finish it has to pay up to buy gold and gems, and the winner is Gree.

Personally, I've always made a distinction between raiding and attacking. Raid all you want, because anyone can protect themselves by collecting on time.

Attacking though is (to me at least, and I don't expect anyone else to agree with me) another matter. I usually follow a simple courtesy. I attack if you are overvault, but if you ask politely to be left alone, I will do so. Most people, including myself, appreciate a little consideration from others.

The funny thing to me is this: If in real life, some big hulking kid beat up your young daughter, you would call that person a bully and be furious (despite the fact that, yes, it can be a cruel world). But in a virtual game environment, we think its all ok to forget common civilities and that there is actually a human being on the other side of your attacks. We could debate endlessly about RL/VL, there being a choice to play the game or not, it being a part of the game, ... etc. But the fact is just because you can do something, doesn't make it right or necessary or desirable - and we shouldn't ever forget that, whether in RL or VL.

My 2 cents worth anyway and just in case this triggers of any replies, I respect that you have a right to your own opinion and I'm not going to engage in a long drawn debate, so please don't necessarily expect a reply.

In game cash is virtually worthless. I cant remember when I collected full value from manors, and I cant remember the name of a single person who raided me. I just use the cash to donate to my guild, for mostly worthless upgrades. Carry on.

I guess I see both sides here. Generally speaking, very high level players have less fodder, so attack same people more frequently.
It is a game and raiding is a huge part of it. It is a fact that actual cash dollars give advantage. Welcome to...LIFE! THE PLACE WHERE ACTUAL CASH $ GIVE YOU AN ADVANTAGE!
Not saying one should, or should not pay to play. That is the rage thread.

I think that it is not a bad idea to share the wealth of your doomdom as equally as possible, if possible. But sometimes ya find a cash cow and you have a goal to achieve, so you raid them. Lots.

Solutions:
For victim- quit, join a better guild go back and enjoy sweet revenge, master the art of A/D, spend money, set your alarm and wake up every few hours to collect and vault your gild, vault your gold, get over it, take it out on a weaker player and the cycle of KA life goes on and on.

Sure, you could say don't be a d*ck. But would you say that in a high stakes poker game? No. You would aim to kill.

I think if you are trying to save up and ask someone civilly to back down for a bit few will say no. Those that don't might actually be jerks. Shocker! Life is full of those. Did you think this game would exclude the a la eharmony?

I will say this- insanely annoying in ascending order:
1. Raid me, win, then ask to ally me.
2. Raid me, lose, then ask to ally me.
3. Raid me, lose, then BEG to ally me.


That makes me far more angry than some bored player with plenty of money pillaging me ad infinitum. If that happens I just go play scrabble and calm down.

Before complaining about a raid or attack, please consider the following:
"Did you really have to attack me?"*

1. Yes, I need gold for my guild.*
2. It's part of the game.*
3. You obviously would have retaliated if you saw that I was weaker or equally matched.*
4. I'm 100% positive you have raided people weaker than you.*
5. Is it my fault you didn't collect on time?*
6. Am I supposed to wait until everybody has the same stats as me, then raid them?*
7. I need to buy new units.*
8. You shouldn't be at this level if you can't take being hit by rivals with better stats.*
9. In no way am I singling you out.*
10. You were on the battle list making you a legit target…*

I hope one of the aforementioned answered your question. If not, please direct your attention to 'Help-FAQ' on the in-game menu. You will find that raiding buildings that sit uncollected is quite common, as is attacking a rival who is over vault.*

*If you don't like the above, bugger off, delete the app and go play Angry birds.

Seriously, he does do that. N He has Big Stats too. He is a Nice guy though. I think he has learned a few things from his wife though n is applying what he has learned to KA. But seriously if u see King Arthur's sword, don't touch it n just stay away from it. Peaceful until provoked into action. N I have seen him in action.
