Level 3 Armories, Good armors with Good Friends coupled with proper EE Strategy, using the armors from Rewards, Snakeskins farming and Fusion Stones to level it to 35.

If it's too hard, then you don't have maxed armories, have weak armors, don't know how to use EE effectively and properly don't know how to level armors efficiently, which means you shouldn't be trying to do the event.

Just fill your inventory with snakeskins while your normal version is crafting. When it's done, get it to 18 with basics, use all your snakeskins, taking you to a minimum of level 28. Then keep crafting snakeskins till you get to 35 while you're getting EB to 43. It's really not magic. It's just efficiency and common sense.

So in the last boss, I benchmarked my timing to see if it is possible to craft the + armor within the week of the boss armor without spending gems.... and I will say that it IS possible with maybe even a few hours to spare. However, I had to rush all the way through boss level 43 without wasting a single boss energy and upgrade the non + version and then craft the + version as quickly as I can. I did finish level 43 before the non + version was out of the armory, and i had pre-filled the armory with stuff to level it up with.

That said, I was also consistently ranked around 100 which would mean that only a handful of us would be able to finish this without using gems

If I were to bet on this, I think a handful of us will finish it in time for free, others will buy/use gems, and then more will complain, and then Gree will probably give us an extension which will inevitably upset the original gem spenders...but oh well, this seems to be the recurring pattern of things around here.

Well, I won't be getting the last one done in time. It takes me until the 2nd last day to get the level 43 boss down. The first boss of this series was the first level 43 epic boss I've been able to kill. I'll have no trouble killing it, but not nearly in time to get this done. This one is going to be interesting, all of my stronger armors are weak against the Headless Horseman. I'm thinking I'll probably have to just go ahead and equip the strongest I have to get the best out of my friends that I can and not worry about the weakness.

I am completely dissapointed with GREE. I didn't expect this.
This is my first time being able to craft + version, I was soo excited by this fact, and was aiming to get the + armor bonuses.

Crafting normal armor = 3 days
lvling it to 35 -- around 3-4 days for me (I'm currently still crafting + version of the circe...).
Crafting the + armor version, another 3 days.
In total to get the + version it'd take around 9 - 10 days.

I checked the cost to speed up armor, which is around 100 gems. Totally bull**** compare with only 5 dark prince keys as a price (not to mention they're pretty crap chests...).

I'm pretty sure it checks it off for you once you finish crafting it, it wouldn't show up as successful if you haven't done it yet silly! If I remember correctly that's what happened for me for one of the previous metas
so if you change your mind you should still be able to get it =]

Everyone!

You need around 1600 ep to level up the epic boss from lv 1 - lv 35. I suggest that while you are going through your epic boss levels, be proactive and craft a bunch of 2 hr and 1 day armors. Fill up your armory (well reserve that one space for the crafting the non-plus boss armor, if you haven't finished level 15 yet) and while your first boss armor is in the oven, continue to craft those 2 hr/1day armors. That way, you will be "mostly" ready to level it up, and you can pop in the plus version back in the oven pretty quickly.

Also, if you have a couple of fusion stones and extra gold in the bank, you can combine basic spirit + basic water to craft a 50 ep armor, guaranteed. Don't craft this yet, because you can always do that at the last minute once your basic boss is out of the oven.

Crafting the + within the week should be pretty manageable if you have fusion stars lying around. You'll need around 32 fusion stars to get it to 35 in one go, it'll be much less than 32 if you use the armors from the rewards. As long as you hit 43 and unlock the + version by day 4, it should be just nice with a level 3 armorsmith.

I may have a chance at actually making this, I'm already on the 19th level of the boss(better yet, I've soloed all of them thus far, first time that's EVER happened), and I have a decent amount of gold and fusion stars saved, so the moment it pops out, I'll just start crafting volcanic mantles and throw them one after another into it to rush it to 35 then craft the + version. Honestly, this looks like it may be the very first time that I'll be able to hit the 51st tier reward, as my best armors are all effective against this(my best has double element), with not a single weakness. Better yet, I have like a dozen or more people with Maelstrom Irons on my friends list, which means I'll probably be able to go 1-2, or 2-1 on the boss fights all the way up to at least 28, if not close to 35.

Am currently quite pi**ed with Gree. Due to some bugged game data that kicked me out of the game repeatedly I reinstalled the game as suggested. Result is, I lost nearly 2 days of work. :( I had beaten the Horseman up to lvl 22 and was already forging withe's robes+ and horsemans battlegear. After the reinstall, my witche's robes were down to lvl 28 and horseman was on entry level. Not to speak of dropping almost 2 bands in the current turney. :(

You don't need the regular version to redeem anything at all. The only thing you need the regular version for is getting to 35 to craft the plus.

I can tell you for sure Im out. I got armor prizes stacked in armory, so cant craft headless horseman without throwing out about 10 armors Im saving for leveling up a armor after war is over. If I cant get regular horseman in now, cant do plus for sure. Wouldnt be doing either until after the war when it doesnt count.

I did level 60 on boss and finished right before the war started and now got 33 keys stacked up so even more free armors coming for leveling up fodder Im afraid to use now and block up armory even longer before I can make headless horseman.

I think its a lot to expect us to war and do much else at the same time. When my team is at war, that's all I do in the game pretty much. I wish the date was extended. My vote, extend deadline.

You're better off though, honestly. At your rank and ability 5 DPC keys and a cape isn't much to be interested in. You're problems are like my problems; first world compared to the average. I'll make this deadline only because of a severe lack of interest in a mono spirit epic that spreads guild wide. I wouldn't feel like you're missing out if I were you. The cape is the only thing you'll regret not having, and that regret will be forgotten in a week.

I gave it a little thought, and I like the idea of the deadlines being the same time as the final boss. Not because I'm capable of doing it, but for the same reason I'm not angry or shocked about a mono spirit epic. Balancing.

Everyone has been clamoring for more and better rewards. But if those rewards were done the same way the Bkale+ was, it would appear to be a sham that handed out freebies to the undeserving. I think having the deadline the same time as the final boss will allow for better rewards to be given based on the difficulty curve of it. If you didn't make it because your armors are weaker or you didn't dedicate enough, then you simply didn't earn the higher prize and have to keep collecting EB armors.

Also, I'm noticing that the real prize from this event is HeHo+. As far as I'm able to discern, it has the highest total stats of any fire/water that I can remember. Boilerplate+ may be more, but I don't think so. I think it's been ridiculously underscored, with everything going on, just how monumental this particular boss armor actually is.

This seems to be a mistake on gree's part. Since the previous reward periods have been the week AFTER the last boss, I think this is a mistake rather than intentionally moving up the deadline one week. Im sure a few players can make this deadline, but i doubt this is how boss collections are supposed to work.

Likely not a mistake since people have been mentioning it on the forums for a while. Maybe there is a super secret special prize for those that DO finish and have what it takes to finish.

And again, its likely a "well, if I wait a day or two then speed up the armor with gems, I can start leveling and crafting the next one sooner..." Aka... its a gem grab while people are focused on guild wars. Give you one distraction so you'll be tempted to use gems to catch up.

Then you're not high enough level/don't have good enough stuff/doing it wrong.

To hit 60 without gemming (which a lot of people are able to do), you need to be at 50 with 2 days left (2x10 friends), which means you need to be at 43 with more than 3 days left. Its completely doable.

I'm indifferent on the new deadline cause i'm not partecipating and i already fused away lots of the armors i dont needed ecept for circe and horseman. I think anyway 60 can be done easily if you have the correct legendaries, cause i hitted 57 on circe suing only assassin shroud, aegis of the fallen and clayplate mantle. They are not the best armors to do it, so if you can get three 200% armors you can easily do it, i'm sure. I also played slowly on the first days cause i was to a party, and i think i coul have done ten or more five knight fights if i was spending well my energy. I was having, by the way, lot of friends in bear armor, guardian battlegear and assassin shrout, even one in forgestone aegis.

This doesn't make sense. All previous similar events had no such high requirements. The number of players that can craft 43 is, maybe, 5000. The number of players that can hit 43 with more than 3 days to go in the week is maybe 200 at most.

Arbitrarily making the quest 25 times harder for a similar reward is obviously a mistake. Likely they will extend the deadline by another week after this week ends.

(And I have a pet peeve with people like this guy who thinks that anyone who doesn't play the game as much as him doesn't deserve to play. I.e. 'If you don't have 6 epics, you should quit playing k&d)

There's a simple way to figure out how many people will be able to earn this potentially "for free" (that is, without spending gems to hasten the plus crafting).

When you finish lv 43, your total damage points should be at around 840,000. Currently on IOS, about 425 people have scored that many points or higher. All of these people have enough elements to drop the + armor in the oven right now (whether or not they have unlocked the + version is a different story), which gives them plenty of time to finish.

All you gotta do is check how many people have >840,000 points around 63 hours before the end of the redemption period (the amount of time the armor sits in a max level armory before it is done) to see how many can "potentially" finish in time.

I can farm every boss at least at level 43, i beated lvl60 circe with no gemming but im struggling with this one, even though i'll succeed getting the reward anyways, so i dont find it correct. There must be ppl in a worse situation than mine who are penalized with no right reason.

Although I also think the redemption time should be extended it is still not too difficult to get it in time. My highest armour is storm sorcerer (normal version) and the big 4. With that I manage to get to lvl43 in time without spending any gems. All you need is some allies with good armour and carefull planning.

Yes, because Gree somehow messed up when entering the dates for the reward redemption. "Alright guys, let's let the players of KnD be able to redeem their rewards up until November 13, a week after the Headless Horseman boss." (Gree somehow enters in November 6th instead of 13th.) If there was an error they would have corrected it already.

You obviously aren't 'strong' enough to earn these rewards. I suggest you get better armors and level up if need be.

No, I think it is you who is not getting the point. You mentioned that for the other two previous bosses, you had the correct set or armors to defeat them, but not this time. Well, you know there's a reason why there are multiple spots in the armory right? YOU ARE allowed to have more than 3, or more than 6.. or heck... you can even max out 15 armors representing all possible element combinations. You just need to put in the time and patience to collect and upgrade them. So... the fact that right now, you not having the "correct" armors to defeat the water/fire element boss is more indicative of you not having enough variety of strong armors.. so don't try to blame the game over this. I have the tiniest violin playing a melody for you right now.

edited to add: My main knight has been wearing swampstone platemail+ (boss armor from a few weeks ago) and I am just about finishing lv51. No gems used so far, and I don't plan to. I am almost certain that I can finish lv 60 without using gems. So while it helps, you don't need that perfect epic armor to advance through the boss levels. You can get pretty far with a bit of strategy and good time management.

I have the 2 + items from previous bosses but had fused the non+ them away am k still eligible forthe plus+ prize (I have the HH+ cooking so I will see in a few days anyways. Just asked to see if anyone could offer an opinion. Secondly I did this with non epics in an easy time frame with no gems used for crafting or epic boss energy. So this was easy in my opinion

Nope, cause eventually i was able to get the events reliably. Just cause you aren't there yet doesn't mean the game is unbalanced, it means you aren't at the top end of players that can reliably finish events. Ooo I'm not sure if you are, but maybe you should contact GREE and find out. The rewards window is in 2 tiers, and satisfying the first tier opens up the second one. The first tier requires that you have all 3 non plus versions, and the 2nd tier requires that you have all 3 plus versions.....

So I'm afraid that even if you had all three + versions, you may not get the reward because you will not be able to unlock the rewards window. BUT I'm only guessing....

That's my opinion and ofc you can live healthy and happily ignoring it, nor it will ruin the game, just i can understand the complaint this topic was meant for.

You're the one not getting the point. What you fail to see is that all you're doing IS complaining. You're the only one who doesn't think you're complaining. The common denominator is obvious. You're upset that you consider something unbalanced, when the fact is that it's 100% balanced.

You find the fact that you have to be able to finish and craft the last boss early, as opposed to the other ones, unbalanced. I get that. My apologies if my first instinct is whining, but, and you are right, it is. I apologize if I was rude, or assumed you were whining about it.

Maybe they DON'T want the game to be balanced. Maybe they don't care about balance. Maybe they want to reward all the people who have a Cloud/Maelstrom Epic and the armors strong enough to take down the boss quick enough, and are skilled enough to craft it, level it, and craft it again. My apologies that the game isn't perfectly fair and every boss didn't have the "status quo" of an extra week to finish.

You want fair? Tell that to the people who did the original Dragons event for BKal+, only to have it extended so more people could get it. Ever think maybe this is payback? Maybe they wanted to limit it to a select group. Or maybe this time, they realized their error, but didn't want a repeat of last time, so they stuck with it and said "lets see who does it."

I think you have a poor concept of what Inbalanced means Compared to unfair. Elemental weaknesses are balanced, time frames are unfair.

People that think that gree somehow made some terrible mistake when progamming a date and hope they come to the forums saying they were wrong are just strait delusional. If they gave so little info in the Bkal+ debacle they aren't going to do it now.

And in case you were wondering: Increased dificulty = more money for gree. There isn't a lot of science to it, companies are there to make money. If they can find subtle ways to get you to spend it then more power to them. For instance the Gempocalypse event. The number of people that spent 5k gems to get a bkal+ is pretty small i assume. But i bet everyone and their mother made sure they spent 50 for those fusion boost armors. Had something for the whales, and all the people willing to shell out a few bucks (or part was with what they had) to get that initial reward.

I don't understand any other collection gives the extra week this one is squeezing it in till the last minute it takes 3 days alone to craft the armor so basically you have to get 43 kills in 3 days as sooon the armor is finished lvl it up to 35 asap and throw the + into the armorsmith, i find that complete bull **** since some people don't use gems on EB or can't use it for EB

Bad timing but not impossible for the strongest player, for weakest ones it'll be very hard,
I'll have my cape and keys without spending gems and sleeping like a hibernating turtle, with others 4-8 free hours, I don't remember.
