To everyone out there, and in particular those who yet again have accused us of being a hacking faction.

We at Celestial Army Generals have discussed how and even whether we should respond to the latest accusation, posted by Spitfire, that we are a haction. Although we would normally not respond to unfounded accusations such as this, given the circumstances and the number of times we have unfairly been brought into disrepute on this forum, we have decided that an official response from us is warranted. This message is all we will say on this topic; we will not respond to any replies that anyone may wish to post because there really is nothing more to say and we will not get drawn into a slanging match.

Spitfire's original accusation includes a screen shot of an inventory with 51 DBJs. As he/she said, that was historic and the issue has been dealt with. We believe, however, that Gree does not discuss any specific actions it takes against individual players, with anyone. Yet Spitfire claims Gree confirmed the issue had been dealt with. We would be most interested to know from Spitfire whether there is a special relationship between the SUP factions and Gree, where Gree provides information to SUP that it would not to other factions.

Anyway, moving on. Spitfire then goes on to make the remarkable accusation that we are able to hook up devices in some clever way that both delivers multiple hits at the same time and spams the server to give us an unfair advantage in the final moments of a battle. A picture was posted showing a set-up that apparently supports this theory.

First, that particular picture was actually posted by an officer in our sister faction, as a response to a running internal joke about his fanatical commitment to this game. This is a guy who barely sleeps during war weekends, he gives his all to the faction. One of the CAG officers reposted that picture to show how committed that particular person is - and it you read the caption, it refers to a CAS (not CAG) officer. We don't even know if the picture is real, we just had a good laugh about it at the time (unlike some other factions, we still know how to have fun in Celestials).

Second, the particular battle that Spitfire mentioned, where we scored fanatically in the end... Would you like to know how we did it? We called up our entire faction (yes, we do that if the need arises, it is how committed our team members are) and asked everyone we could get hold of to spend gold and hit the command centre of SUP Combat Experts in the last 50 seconds of the battle. We did not know whether it would work but we gave it a shot - mathematically we calculated it could be done. It was not how we planned on spending our gold going into the war but we agreed to give it a go. So we did. And we nearly pulled it off. Most of us bought 3-4 medpacks to hit the command centre. Almost unbelievable, but true. And we would have won, had it not been for Gree's battle algorithm that caused our strongest two players (who could actually hit targets) to lose two or three battles against weaker stat opponents. We were gutted, but excited about our new strategy. May as well share it here now since it is not a secret, we have seen a lot of factions do it (and we got caught out ourselves by it this last war - well done KYS, you know what we mean). Some screenshots of internal communications are attached, which show how we discussed the strategy and outcome at the time, etc. Whether or not you believe them is irrelevant to us.

Third, the statement posted "verbatim" shows our calculations - how much the maximum is that we think we can put up in the last few seconds if the whole faction went all out with good targets and lots of gold. Any suggestion that we hook up devices are categorically denied. We don't even know how that would work but maybe Spitfire could elaborate for us. The only "spamming" we do is by hitting as fast as we can with as many players as we can when the need arises.

As for Spitfire's post, our members have worked very hard for their accounts and have spent way too much money on this game. We have a vested financial interest in keeping our faction going and our good name intact. In future, if you wish to make unfounded accusations like the ones you made earlier today, we will ask Gree to take action for violation of the TOS. If you have evidence of hacking in our faction or any other, please, by all means, report it to Gree and let them deal with it. But we will no longer sit by idly while our reputation is being dragged through the mud by these sorts of posts.

This is all we have to say about the matter.

I don't take issue with your response, except to say everything Spitfire said still should concern players---not in its particulars but in the general scheme of multi device attacks. If you all don't do it, awesome. Can u at least join me in stating u think anyone who does, if it's possible, is cheating and that as players we agree this isn't fair play and perpetrators should be banned? If so, I think we are on the same page.

It's a shame you felt compelled to write all this. If you or any of your members have been accused of hacking the game then tell those accusers to report you and let GREE sort it out. If you haven't hacked then you have no worries.

You should have simply ignored the Pirate mudslinging. They have always felt they were superior because their pockets are sometimes deeper. Good job. Keep up the good work!
