Hello,
The game is changing and getting harder and harder every time, Raid boss harder, LTQ harder, epic boss way way harder and so on with every change Gree makes to the game.
It's our right as players to know what's Gree plan for the game and what are the goals/vision for it, and what is the strategy they are using to reach those goals...
For instance, when you change the game on what bases you are changing it? when up the boss health is it to make it not possible to be completed by 20k guilds, while only 25 guilds are capable of completing it if they spend xK of gems?
I am not complaining about the changes, I just feel we have the right to know what the engineers of Gree are thinking, do they consider how many hours of play it's needed to complete a quest? do they base their changes on time/gems/stats/percentage of players or guilds capable of completing quests, gems needed etc?
Other games usually state that they made changes to make the game more balanced, more fair competition, more challenging to complete....
Hope to hear from you

It's not that complicated. They probably get well over 1/2 of their revenue from the top 10 guilds, and it's probably pushing 90% from the top 25. The events are being designed to capture gem usage from those specific guilds, and the free players are basically being left behind in terms of these events. Whether the changes are fair or balanced or whatever... Doesn't really matter as long as there's more gems being purchased and used.
It's a reasonable assumption that every change they make that isn't technical in nature (ie fixing bugs) is targeted at maximizing revenue from those specific guilds.

The most expensive free game on the planet?

I know the simple answer from US the frustrated players will be, they are changing the game so more money is squeezed from players, but I'd love to think they are thinking long term, customer loyalty, turn over rates, etc...
And when they are designing quests, they consider that 1% of guilds should be able to finish the quest if they spend in total from 3-5k of gems per quest
Wishful? I think so

Well, can you blame GREE? After a war with record high CPs, a 2 guild war where gems were being flung around like confetti, followed by a pure auction box event for Top 50 and Top 1 (being a while since GREE threw one of those out after all the noise long time back) ... not to mention whatever is being spent on this Witches' treehouse, they must be thinking there's plenty of spare cash lying around to tap.

No need to think hard. Maximize profits is the only objective. The objective is no way to build out a hit game that still exists in a couple years. Take it now when it's hot and that's it.
They forget one thing... There are limits.

The sad thing about the change in difficulty, is the change in some of the players. Many that I have met along the way, were sweet, pleasant people, who enjoyed being part of a team, in guild events. Now, they have become quite unpleasant; the use of gems to achieve the latest unit, turning them into arrogant powerhouses. Although these aren't frequent encounters, they do make the whole experience quite unpleasant.
One such player was a team player, until such time that the rest of the guild would not, or could not finish quests, because it is far too expensive now to do so. He became just dreadful. Another, who is a member of a top team, thinks nothing of wanton bullying on the walls of those whom he met on his way to the top.
I'm not pointing the finger at those who spend a lot of gems; it's their money, but more at GREE, who provide challenges now only available to the privileged few. Gone are the days of fun and anticipation; rather now, dread of what is going to be introduced next.
Merely expressing a opinion.

I have been playing this game since before the CoKs started, and I have been with the same guild. We build a powerhouse of gem and non-gem players. When the gem spenders saw that they were being left behind, they found other gem spending, Top 25 guilds. They see how the game is going and go for the winnings. It happens every time I recruit heavy a gem spender - they leave for the top prizes.
So, I have built a Top 100 guild of light gem to free players, who don't care about being left behind. We do the best we can and play a game for free or very little money. I don't care where Gree is going with the direction of the game. I have a happy guild with 50 happy people.
Gree only has to answer for the persistent and annoying bugs in their game. They should be embarrassed and should communicate better for those awful errors in their game.
My advice to you is to go and be. Just play the game as it's delivered and find a guild with people who play for fun. Sorry, but we are filled and I can't remove any member of my family.

Congrats Vclone. You are playing the game instead of having the game play you. May you and your guild enjoy the
game for what it is.

It's always sad to see the ugly side of human nature. I sympathize with you.
