Wow so GREE gave everyone 100 free gems... That is what 5 days of watching videos? The war boosts didn't work for over a day, iLTQ was a mess, and now the Raid Boss is broken....

100 gems??? Gems is not a hard good, costs GREE nothing, nothing..... 100 gem is 4 regens in a whole 3 day war.... 100 gems doesn't pay for all the full health's I wasted on the iLTQ on level 29 being broken.... What can I do will 100 gems? rename my character twice? 100 gems?? Really the most insulting thing ever.... Once again thank you GREE for the great customer service.... It is like ripping us off for $100's, and giving us 10 cents back to say thank you!

I haven't seen a video in at least 6 months and I tap the "Earn Gems" button every time the scratcher comes up in the morning. No videos....

For a company like Gree, to give u 100 gems is like, "Damn, they should be spending gems on our bugs, not us giving them gems because of our bugs. This sucks. We'll go broke at this rate."

...and the strategy works. Those who have spent and missed tons of gems are unhappy about this "gift", while those who didnt spend and missed nothing(probably the majority), are really happy and give them good publisity.

^^^^^ x 100 ^^^^^
Who gives a *** about 100 gems..lost many, many more due to all the GREE problems..
For sure the free players are happy with the 100 gems, they are rewarded because the gem players lost their gems..

We received the value for a cup coffee and a biscuit, we lost the value of a new Iphone5 ...

Well done..

The free gems make me giggle. While I appreciate them, in relative terms, it really does not help all that much. It just gives us something fun to play with.

Think about it like this-- we are all competing against each other, just like in a class that is graded on a curve. In that class, in a normal distribution, there will be a's , b's, c's, etc. If everyone gets a free "A" on an assignment because of professor error, the distribution does not change. The person who was number 1 stays number 1 and the person that was number 12 stays number 12. Assuming everything else is equal, it does not impact either the overall class or the individual in a material way because the competition is relative.

Of course, with strategy it can have more value for us (i.e. If someone is clever (or lucky) and can predict the relative value of using the gems in one situation versus another), but I would posit that the relative strength for 99.9% of all guilds and individuals is the exact same it was before this concession.

With all of that being said, thanks Gree! :)

Hey Rastlin - yer a jerk, ya ungrateful &*%$*#@

For many of the gem users, 100 gems is nothing. There are many of us that have spent thousands of gems on broken LTQs and such. These thousands of gems that were spent are never reimbursed or replaced with some equal value in game. All you ever get is "Sorry for the inconvenience. We are unable to refund your gems. Your report has been forwarded to someone who could care less. Better luck in the next event that we over inflate and make impossible! Cheers, Gree BS"... So for all you free users, its a great gift. But for us gem users, it is a slap in the face. Sure, its gems, but everyone received them. Its like salt to the wounds of those who actually pay for and lose gems due to complete bull****. Thank you.

We live in a world where people will complain about a free cup of coffee.

Its like that coffee at the office. Nobody likes it but everyone drinks it because its available. Then when the Boss man says everyone can take a cup home due to such good productivity in one of the departments. Even though not everyone put the same effort into it, everyone reaps the benefits even though its a crappy cup of joe.

I'm a free player.

I feel rich with 100 gems!

I don't understand why people complain. Thanks Gree!

I'm a converted free player, so 100 gems is now a lot for me. That being said, because Gree sucks so hard in customer service, and because these gems were not an official apology for the never ending relentless continuous persistent streaming endless mountainous pile of annoying disruptive infuriating incompetent unbelievable bugs, I say thank you in the same tone as the OP, that is to say, bite me Gree.

Free is free.....you do not get a lot for free from GREE .....should it be more perhaps....yes .....due to all the problems it would go a long way to say to the masses that we are sorry that things have not run smoothly.....but honestly....I am amazed they even gave out 100 gems for free ....which they do not have to do

Perhaps we should focus on the definition of "free" as there is no free lunch. For those of you again who don't comprehend that some people use real $ on this game, their prerogative I know, 100 gems given to everyone, whether or not they actually lost anything, is irritating because they get no real refund for their frustrations and real loss of $ whilst to people who don't really care either way think great and how nice Gree is.
Some perspective and perhaps fairness in this game is all the players who actually keep the ball rolling are asking for....

Does free gems make up for the glitches? No. Are free gems better than no gems? Yes. I honestly don't get some of the behavior here. Would you continually go to a restaurant that serves bad overpriced food? Instead of moving on to the next restaurant, would you go to the same crappy restaurant and complain about it endlessly? Well, why would you do that here? Gree deserves a fair amount of heat, to be sure, but does it have to be in every single thread?

I certainly didn't expect a free gems thread to be yet another whine thread. Just quit the game if it bothers you so much that you start a free gems thread just to whine about Gree.

I would and do go to a crappy restaurant because that's where friends like to meet. I usually just eat lite and enjoy the company. Does it mean that I shouldn't let the restaurant know what I don't like? That's up to each person. No business improves if it's unaware of unhappy customers. If that restaurant routinely ignored my feedback, didn't replace burnt food, got my order completely wrong every time and the waitress answered every question with a pre recorded unrelated response, then even if they at some point gave me a free cup of coffee, I would still be very unhappy about eating there, but after all, that's just where my friends meet....

Yes, why?

Also please note this thread is from the 100 gems from the broken events, and losing more than 100 gems on their mistakes (see posting date). Not from last nights 100 gems for the servers being down.

I think most here don't get the reason why some gems are given. It's binding to the game. Compare with going to casino online and open an account... You will get some start funds to tease you.

Nevertheless... It's something haha... 100 gems. What can we do with it? Bsically nothing... Oh yes, we can change our name!

Thank you Gree.

What if you go to a restaurant and pay for 1000 burgers. Then you get only 5 back and they are all rotten and lack all the stuff the restaurant promised. When you complain about it, you just get a standard "we will pass it on to our manager". All the other customers see this and think this is wrong. A week later the manager is back and instead of giving you the money back for 1000 burgers, he gives you back for only one. Then takes the rest of the burgers you paid for and gives one each to every other customer, and random guys just passing by his restaurant in the street. This makes a lot of people happy, but you still feel cheated.

Now tell me if this was you, what would your reaction be?
