Oh, Yeah I remember that. I believe it was called something like the anniversary soldier.(120A / 80D). I felt so much pride getting that unit. Nowadays I don't even feel good when I get a 3000+/3000+ unit.

I remember about 1.5 years ago, I has a lvl80 ally with 200 Gigns. I thought to my self, one day I want to be just as strong as this guy. Now, I have 1,000 Gigns and they don't even make into my army..lol

Lol i started playing about May 2012... got a bit bored as I weren't as good as lots of people at my level after a month or so, I remember my best unit being the "Wicked Jet" 33/12. Came back a year later after Ireland had just done and the we got the free unit called "Pirate Imperial Super" 300/250. I was shocked to see such a high stat on a free unit haha!

For those about to retire, here's an idea

Start a new faction, with other HLPs, publish your stats so they are public. Declare war but never fight. Nice points for some lucky few factions who meet ya.

Oh I remember my first uncommon unit I was so happy when I got it a i remember thinking I was super bad @$$ (delta force cannon) 43/18 and thank when I bought urban assault vechel for 55 gold 41/21 I felt unstoppable. The day I got yulian class invader omg 810/750 I went mad! Now I get a 50,000/50,000 unit and it don't even get 10% as happy as I did getting those other units. ahhh, good times

I was so proud when I spent real money on that new world militia and beating them 20 times for a rare and 5 uncommons I felt like a pro but of course I got killed by a guy with 10 of that rare unit lol

Units, prizes, they are meaningless. My best memory was being accepted into a faction for the first time. L29 6k/6k with 60k IPH stats. Bet no faction leader will accept me if I asked today with that kind of stats. I had moved on a few times since then but its the people you meet along the way that makes you reluctant to give the game up.

Been a wild ride, but I just deleted the app. Got big things happening in RL, where gaining experience isn't a curse, hah. I hope gree gets their house in order and lets this game live up to its potential in the future.

I could leave modern war but it would burn my thoughts thinking about it, what im missing. Ive done it with kingdom age and soon crime city because I dont like em as much as modern war. I dunno why but it just seems better somehow. Also I remeber my favorite unit, the rae monsoon, how epic i thought it was sitting number one in my army and the first indestructible unit i ever got, the folding scaffold crane from the oil tycoon boss with stats to fear (brace yourselves)....20/42

For me it was the Elite Base Defender, the prize for having one of the top (500 I think) IPHs in the game. 400+ stats, the thing was bad ass for awhile (at least for my level at the time). No I won't even do the beginner LTQ for 700/700 stats unit, it's not worth the XP and the 2 minutes it would take to tap, tap, tap.

Just sold off my base and donated the 3.5 billion to the faction and deleted the app. Left a nice F U with some barrells for Gree. This game is a sinking ship and its going down fast! Cheers!

It was a great ride, but its no longer fun. If you think about your account as an investment, thats the worst investment you can possibly have. It will devalue awfully in a matter of months. Just keep it up while you enjoy the ride. If you don't, just dump it! I just turned to level 100 and I felt that its downhill from here.... Nah I am not making myself a great target to give plenty of WD away. Enough is enough Gree(d)... And no more trolling in the forum. Bye.

Im done as well 1 and a half years of playing this game Im finally leaving my accounts

HLP level 129 550k A 850k D
Other HLP level 111 2.9m A 3.5m D
LLP level 53 2.5M A 2.8M D
Mega LLP level 12 800k A 950k D

Im done the last 3 accounts took me less than 3 months to get to this high stats my HLP took 1.5 years and is still ewaker

I consider myself semi-retired. Will continue to play WD events but am getting off the hamster wheel and not participating in anything else.

Started playing when this game first came out (Nov 2011) and joined this board shortly thereafter (when it was mostly porn spam and trampstamp posting lol)

3 Favorite Achievements:

1. Getting the anniversary center - I was SOOO excited to get such an awesome money generating machine. It was kind of a game changer for me when it came to acquiring units/making donations and a badge of honor as a long time free player

2. Achieving Top 250 - I really do think the funnest ranking transition in WD is going from a Top 500 team to a Top 250. Moving to Top 100 is 2nd. Maybe I'm nostalgic of the old days but the battle for top 250 was real joy for me and you didn't have to deal with the issues of gold/politics/mercenaries/faction jumpers/etc. that comes with moving way up in the ranking.

3. Recruiting Super Players before they were Super Players - Anyone who was a hard core recruiter for their (top 500/250) faction understands the joy of meeting interesting players, having them join, and seeing them grow into monster players.

Worst Moment:

Buying the composite center with a bit of gold. That would open the gateway to the world of gold spending. Looking back now I am a bit annoyed to see the useless (old) units I acquired from gold that don't even make it to battle.

Not only let the stats and level of every member be known, state the exact time of declaration so as people can know when to declare :-)

Posted on behalf of our departed leader who was banned a couple of months back.. "I have now left the game, my MLP left a month or so ago, Roborhino main left before Cuba (android users 200+ pay him a visit and check out the barrel art) My mini has been transferred to a good friend to carry on the cause... I am now MW free and happy, time to spend with my friends and family... This post is not about me but about those l have fought alongside... From the early days as part of We are Borg, then the Expendables and finally Expendables 2... I have been an officer in 4 factions and leader in two, it has always been a pleasure being part of these teams and l will certainly miss them... Sir in We are Borg and Ahab in Expendables you showed my the true path to leadership... There are too many people that l have fought with to mention here but Shane and Sinister you are true comrades, you put up with my rants and helped to achieve the unachievable... I will not miss the game, l will miss my friends... To all those l have raided or attacked, to those streaks we have ruined l do not apologise, a game is a game. Don't take defeat to heart look towards victory.. I understand the boys are back in town at the Expendables and Expendables 2 will strengthen... Gree are you reading this or even care to read it? Valuable members leaving this game. Not me no no no.. I'm staying on this geriatric greedy ship till the monopoly ship blows us to pieces. Stat increase was the dumbest thing you did to this game and is making this game midly entertaining. But no way am I winning this game..
