New Boss Event Loot

Did anyone else have their boss loot get stronger? I just defeated boss 25 (got the speedboat yay...) and noticed that when 26 popped up the loot was upped. Rare now has around 760 attack instead of 360, uncommon has around 360 instead of 160, etc. Is this just for passing a certain level boss or was this done to all players at any level boss?

After every 25th boss the rares get stronger and the first set of rares drop down to uncommon Thanks. Was wondering why the top players would actually bother to kill hundreds of bosses.
