View Full Version : [Android] Hardcore f2p guild could have taken top 10.

So lets define hardcore f2p as not letting a single point of energy go to waste.
That means they have = floor((4 * 24 * 60 +100) / 25) = 234 total attacks per player. In a forty man guild this is a total of 9200 attacks. Assuming a 90% individual win rate and a 260 win point average, and a 15 lose point average this yields: 2204280, if we allow a 70% war win rate this yields 2.97m points, which would have just squeeked into 10th place.
By spending the minimum and redeclaring immediately after they could probably scew the win% bonus upwards past 70%, even if the actual win% was lower.
Interesting.

Playing a game for 4 days straight without sleeping seems beyond hardcore...
Finding and coordinating 40 of them seems even more unlikely.
Although keep in mind even f2p players accumulate gems throughout the game, which could allow for some sleep.

What is f2p and flour? Why would it be better to you to redeclare immediately? We rested and fought less wars, but got in more free hits that way.
I'm definitely hardcore, as I only missed one battle during the night.
We played with 35 members. Good to know that most of the rest you say have 40. It means we will be even better next war. I am pretty sure my average was below 250. I found points stingy to get myself and complained a lot. Lots of scores below 200.

Exactly! These 40 pple probably need to be your good friend and all living under the same roof for this to happen

Well yes; but to be fair you only have to play for ~3 minutes every 1 hour and 40 minutes.

70% win bonus is feasible. But I don't think possible. The hidden variable in it is that the higher the tier you sit in the better the other teams, and more chances of hitting a spending guild. Without spending our previously 12th ranked guild went to 121. We had a 65% win rate. However, we were not hardcore this last war. We actually TRIED for ribbon D. (400K gold woot!). My numbers are on iOS though.

It would of been possible, but the spenders would of spent more to out pass them. My guild only spent to hit 10, nothing extra. Wouldn't be worth the effort to attempt it for free.

Everyone elses thoughts: Nobody could do that!
My thoughts: My god that's me. No RL Priorities like a boss.
Question: What is the average amount of hours that a top 10 guild player spends out of say the 96 hours of a four day guild war?
I used all my energy for 80 of the hours, and did 6 refills with gems I had saved up. I feel like this is a lot, but I'm not sure so I'd like to know how much the top players do.

We rest between battles, so we fought half the time, 48 hours of the 96.
I actually set my alarm for a hour or more cat naps during the night to take my free hits.

Are you in The Legends?

Gnolaum, you're not considering guardians and sentinels... you should really lower your win points average.
After that, i don't understand the meaning of this numbers... as you will never ever find 40 people doing like this all together

Are you in The Legends?
Yes I am, one of the very first to join Legends and helped to build it. I'm a HC and proud of it.
Some posted the battle stats and you will see we fought fewer battles than most. But that means with recharged atms, we could take 5 or 6 free hits each war. I also used gems if I found a target that was over 200, but I hope next war to average higher per hit. I set a personal goal of 100k last war, so made sure I averaged over 25k each day, just my own goal to beat previous war's points. I was very dissapointed in my per hit average this last war. I think Gree needs to look at how they give points.
I maximize every free hit possible so as not to waste gems.

Buying guild war energy won't change. Implementing a full roster clear system is looking better & better now that 3rd party matching coalitions have formed. We will control the top 10 on IOS with organized GM farming.
Arena Energy, now that's something you shouldn't be able to buy. How about making that crappy legendary a + for black medal & lets really see who can sleep the least.
Note, this would EXPONENTIALLY increase the amount of gems spent to preserve double downs.

I'd take silver every tournament if you couldn't buy energy.
Sleep is a direct result of boredom.

I spent 1600 gems to secure my guild in top 10 and would play nonstop unless giving my guild time to recover after an all out intense battle. Agree that during Guild Wars there is no such thing as sleep. Luckily I have an awesome second in command who would take over our spreadsheets and declaring war when I accidently passed out...
To be top 10 you have to give up your life and loved ones for 3 or 4 days...not sleep....oh and don't forget...most importantly you need to empty your wallet to get there too lol

Or just have 39 others working with ya. We hit top 10 and I bet the most 1 person spent was half that amount.
