As usual, people complain and sneer when they give you free things for doing what you normally do anyway. Oh well, I'm not surprised.

Probably it should only affect lower level players who should be working on their big 4+ but get distracted by those shiny sparkly keys when they shouldn't and get slowed down in their progression tremendously. Oh well, their own fault.

They know and understand player that can reach epic boss level 43 out of 100% only maybe 2-5% like DPC

Gree replaced tempered battlegear today with armor of the wolf.

So now Guardian battlegear Aka Armor Of Bear +/ Swamp Stone Platemail + Aka Clayplate/ Raven + Aka Blackforest or Sky Guardian

So now DPC left with BLKA/Combustion/Aegis of dragon that are worth opening :)

Totally agree with you Zero Tempered battlegear have high atk than armor of wolf while wolf got better defense than tempered gear.

I just hit level that I can beat epic bosses for plus armor. No useful element combinations seem to be coming. Fenris is meh fire/earth. Circe looks like earth/spirit or earth/wind, Horseman fire/spirit? What do you think upcoming boss elements are?

Collection reward is ok. Altho few dark prince keys most likely won't get you anything useful. But I got lucky with beast chest too and won an epic.

Lousy event rewards.. not worth to go for the rewards... Dpc drop rate is also always low low... 9/10 1 - 2 star armor, 0.7 - 0.8/10 3 star armor and 0.2 - 0.3/10 4star armor or lesser... really not worth to go for it. Save ur money for future better chest which has epic. Good lucks.

Yes, it's true that it's something you do already. But who actually keeps the non-plus armors for weeks? I fuse mine whenever possible for better armors like Combustion or Moontide. 3 Enchanted Keys don't really change my mind about that. And as for plus armors, I cannot get them yet, and I'm not complaining about those rewards either.

In all honesty, the last 2 events where this was the case, I fused away the non-plus, and still got the non-plus rewards once the plus version was in my inventory. At this point I'm inclined to believe that it's in the event coding somehow to recognize the plus as a non-plus also. So I wouldn't be worried so long as you have the plus versions.

They aren't useless rewards. That's the point. You could have gotten zero rewards. The Guild War rewards were useless. Those should be complained about. It's still, at minimum, 5 armors used to level something, that you didn't have to get. What is with the entitlement that they're supposed to be giving you omgsuperuber gear every event? If that were the case, the minimum would increase. If you're complaining that a free reward is useless, than you are the person who will complain that any reward is useless. It's a grinding game. Grind and earn. I'm sorry they're not handing you the end-game win for free.

I would have happily settled for 10 total gold keys. Fusion boost armors all day.

I have to try fusing non-plus and see if I get rewards for non-plus. Game does handle plus armors as non-plus in quests etc, so there might be truth in EljayK's post.

Fenris is fire/earth and ravenlord is spirit/wind so there is good chance for combustion there. I don't currently have any 4 star water armors, so can't go after moontide. Or I could wait until Gree releases epics to fusion again. I understood from other forum posts that they are balancing it and it will be possible in future, just probably hard to fuse in future, but possible.

Why do you all say you would be completing the challenge anyway. Do you really level for the plus version of every boss armor whether or not it's useful to you? I will get to 43 every time anyway, but I certainly woudln't level every armor to 35 just for the sake of it. The chance at improving my existing armor was a true incentive (i.e. Beast keys). The chance at getting enhancement fodder is worth no where near the time and wasted EP to level armor I don't ever intend to use.

So I'll get the lesser prize for this one. Which is fine.

Im beginning to feel bad for Gree. Despite the many problems, they've been trying to switch the content/cycle up for us and people complain every single time.

To be fair, I also feel DP's aren't really worth the trouble anymore. Kinda sucks you guys did Epics the way you did and thus making a lot of things either unfair or just irrelevant. Oh well, I just discovered Epic boss+ armor usefulness so Im OK content wise.

I think you're right, they screwed up the redemption dates. The period HAS to be 6-13 November, or there's almost no chance of crafting that final Boss+ armor.

I have to agree that keys are no longer an exciting prize, after 15 beast chest keys yielded nothing for me but fusion fodder.

I'll keep levelling the armors I want at the pace I want, not these ones unless I need them.

What would be a nice prize is a unique legendary armor, only achievable through completing the other three, with slightly better than current stats (but nor as high as Epic). I'd work harder for that.

I have two examples from personal experience that say yes. I will explain:

The first event, with Corvus and TrollKing, I crafted the + versions. After they were finished crafting, (before the redemption period began), I fused them to make Tectonic. I still got the non-plus rewards. Both armors were finished before redemption period began.

Beast Event II: I accidentally used Armor of the Bear to enhance an item, BEFORE the plus version was finished crafting. When the redemption period began, I could not collect the non-plus rewards. When the + version finished crafting, I was able to collect the non-plus, and plus, rewards.

I think the second example shows that the individual armor counts as both. Since having no versions of the armor would not let me collect the non-plus reward, I imagine it doesn't keep a counter that says, "has crafted," for them.

sorry misinterpreted. i get silver keys from farming. and i get enchanted and dpc from ebs. i can usually hit 60 so its all just saved up.

THIS would be "doing what u would normally do anyway and getting free stuff". not having to craft and invest gold and ep armors just to get measily 5 dpc keys. if u have low armors than yea upgrade eb armors. if u have epics, prob dont bother. i may do these just because i have nothing else to do in the game

I think YOU are the one who needs help reading. If you re-read what I said, I never mentioned what you had to do to get the bonuses from the EVENT. I was talking about getting the tier bonus rewards from simply killing the BOSS if you didn't want to participate. Never mentioned anything about crafting or enhancing the boss armor, but thanks for the refresher on how getting a +version of a boss armor works.

Move on. This game isn't built around RR and spoiled whiners. It's built around the hundreds of thousands that play and don't use the forums. The bulk of those players, will use their first ever DPC key by getting it from this event.

2) Get top 25 on leaderboard & craft->lvl.35->re craft+ won't be an issue.

3) Non+ Epics blow, stop convincing yourself your profile is nothing w/o them.

4) Save your DPC keys for a +X% chance legendary.

I wasn't here for ancient dragon, but didn't everyone who crafted all the + versions get Black Raiment? I didn't get jack from beast brawl. I know a lot of people got a lot of really good armors from it, but I'd rather have a guaranteed good 4* armor than maybe a good armor.

Mmmm... come to think about this.

The cap is always cool imo, but not usefull of course.
The chance to find something good in the DPC are almost zero... still you get some armors always usefull to combine or fuse.
The question is... if the epic boss armors are not good (like this one of fenris), would it be worth to spend enhancing the first one to lvl 35 to craft the plus version only for a few DPC keys?

What do you think about it?

It's too unbalanced for me... low atk high def... and i don't like earth armor, as there are so many spirits around (even if fire is cool for the same reason). It's not a bad armor, really... just i don't have any hurry to max it

The rewards for making three boss + armors are so incredibly lame. It's a lot of work to collect random elements, then to clog up an armory to craft that armor, only to level it up to 35 and start all over again.... all that for some stupid split element armor(s) that I will never use. At least the beast chest thing gave us a bunch of keys to chests that promised better things....

What's even lamer is that I'm actually doing it. I feel lame.

What's even more lame is that there's some weird addictive quality to this game that I might be collecting these stupid armors even if the prizes were lamer.. like 1000 gold or something. I'm not daring anyone to test me though. Don't even try.

I think it means that November 6 is your last day to craft the armors in order to get the keys. If you don't have stuff crafted by then you shouldn't expect keys.

Let me go ahead and clarify both sides of the arguments here for you guys and offer some free advice...

Those who are saying that the rewards are not worth it are partially correct. The five armors that you will get from the DPC from the keys will more than likely be enhancement fodder, unless you manage to get a ****+ armor, most of which have already been eclipsed by a previous Epic Boss+ armor already, making them pretty much useless. Besides, chances of a ****+ are slim to none to begin with, so yeah, your five armors will be enhancement fodder. That being said, the five enhancement fodder armors will not cover the amount of xp that was needed to level the three EB armors to level 35 to unlock the EB+ to receive the keys to begin with, not to mention gold expenditure and time spent crafting armors to enhance with. So from this stand point, the five DPC keys are pointless, and you should only level to 35 if youre going to use the EB+ on a knight. It would be like spending twenty dollars to buy a five dollar bill.

On the flip side however, many players that are capable of reaching the 43 mark on the EB probably already have the gold production and raw materials needed to craft armors and enhance an EB armor to 35 for the + version. So for them, it is a free 100 gems worth of keys for investing just a little extra time into the game to actually bother leveling the armors. Also, free cape. Might as well.

So, there are the two sides simplified and explained to you guys. Granted, i personally dont believe the five DPC keys are worth the time, gold, or experience cost of leveling the armors to 35, however at this point in the game i have really nothing much else to do. I have personally been waiting for another BKale+ reward as its really the only ****+ armor that hasnt been outdated by an EB+ armor except for Combustion... But i digress...

My main point FOR getting the keys is that at some point in the future, Gree will undoubtedly release a DPC event where opening 11 chests gives you 2 free fusion boost armors or a free Nemesis+ armor or something along those lines, so i might as well get free DPC keys and save them up with other free DPC keys that we'll get from other events and use them to get a free bonus from a 'Open 11 chests at one time and get something free' event.

So my advice to you guys is dont go out of your way to go for the five free keys, but if EB+ armor crafting is well within reach for you already, then you might as well do it and save the keys for later.

If the next two armors are air/earth and fire/water, and have stats equivalent to current EB+ armors, it will be well worth it to make them. Then you'll be upset you didn't make this one to the +. So it's in your best interest to just make them if you can.

So... basically, unless you use gems to pop out that third boss armor, NO ONE is redeeming anything come October 30th.

A more likely scenario for me:

Oct 30, I go through lv 15, pop the boss armor #3 in the oven (which many people can't do as their knights are not strong enough) which will come out of the oven Nov 2 probably in the eve. Then I have about a day to level it to 35 while I rush through epic boss level 43 so I can pop the + version back in the oven again in hopes that it will be done before Nov 6? I don't know, it will be pretty dicey.

Please tell me that the stated redemption period is a mistake!!!!

These rewards are pretty weak, but I think it's just Gree nudging more people towards the pay side. I'm fine with that- the game's fun enough as it is, imo, and the harder it is to pull epics (I haven't pulled any), the sweeter it is when you finally get rewarded.

Personally I reckon the best thing to do is remove Headless Horseman EBA+ from the requirement and move the redemption period up a week.

The more I think about it, the more I'm upset that the headless horseman isn't a pumpkin-head scarecrow fire/air. I just picture a BA scarecrow with his fiery flaming pumpkin head flaming in the wind of a wheat field throwing sickles at ravens. Also, for flavor, fire/air would beat raven armor's air/spirit. So there's that.

I drew a different conclusion from the same facts. It makes sense to push for 60 boss kills the next few weeks and save the 5 DP keys. That way when the reward comes around (assuming there is one). I'll have 20 DP keys. Plus getting to 60 gives materials for another armor and 10 gold keys.

Coupled with removign stones from the arena, it's much more efficient for me to spend gems getting to 60 each week then it is leveling an armor to 35 every week. Course if I actually want the plus I'll do it, but I'll do it when I get around to it.

I sure hope these keys and this cape are actually worth it Elita! Against my better judgement, I wasted another 999 gems on 40 chests. I got what was guaranteed of course and 1 yes 1 3star craftable sky guardian. The rest as you all know was 2star (insert expletive). This has gone on long enough with too much money wasted and no change from GREE on the issue. I do have a question instead of telling everyone not to buy these chests either, is there an actual plan or model that the company follows?

As it stands now I am finishing 43 on Tuesday mornings, could push it to Monday with optimal effort, but that won't get it done on time without a little extra green help.

Exactly. It's entirely clear what you need to do, but the time by which you need to do it is either wrong or the deadline is far too early for completion without using some gems - which may be Gree's intention.

I just completed level 43 (I used 10 gems to get that far that early) and have the materials for the +version on the second boss, but am only around level 20 on levelling up the non-plus version. If the deadline isn't moved before the third boss arrives, I probably won't make it because I have a life beyond farming snakeskins and crafting armors every two hours.

Of course it may be Gree's intention to magnanimously extend the deadline, as they did with the Ancient Dragons, thus pissing off anyone who used gems and a lot of sweat to achieve the originally stated deadline.

Actually it is possible, I had all the + armors for the Beast Brawl collection 2 already crafted before the last boss ended.

Just as long as you can get 15 kills within 6 hours, have Lv.3 Armorsmiths, and have enough mats to get it to Level 35 in a day or less, then it is possible.

As zero has said, it is possible, and not exactly very hard. As long as you have decent armors and great friends, reaching level 43 in less than or around 3 days is very much doable without gems, and all you have to do us save fusion stones to power level the armor to 35 which won't take long either.

I like these challenges. Now that I've hit that level where managing this sort of thing is fun and not a gem-spending massacre, it becomes a challenge which I enjoy. Planning EE expenditures in conjucture with strong friends is key. I'll be crafting the "+" version of the Witch gear tomorrow morning. Then farming fire-whatever for the next boss which I'm sure will be fire...and the other part...who knows. I think Spirit, but am hoping something else. Time will tell! :cool: I'll still be fulfilling this challenge for the fun of it and some DP keys.

I have to try those strategies... as well as try to stay awake til 23pm(spawn time for me, sadly) and save the last boss energy for the new one, probably will need to lvl up my legedaries + at lvl 1 for variety... this and that... Will be an attempt though, ive never been able to get the + in time... right now im still at 41, and im sure im not wasting much time but probably not having the best strategy ever...

well, in any case, wheter I may or may not be able to get the last + in time, im quite sure that with the now timeframe 95% of the people wont stand a chance anymore w/o speeding up.

For many Europeans spawn time is 02:00h, so I usually go to bed around 02:45h at boss level 10-14.
If we're lucky it might be 01:00h instead for next boss, because of the daylight saving time switchover. (got my daily login reward just after 23:00h instead of 00:00h last night...)

edit: it could be that for the time period Gree does the "first cash in on people gemming to make the deadline, then say 'oops, we made that deadline too tight, so here's an extra week'" thing, kind of like how they extended the Dragons BKal+ event at the last moment.

There's a strange wall that seems to hit when it comes to bosses. I used to start the plus armor the day after the boss ended. But the way I work it now, I'm usually done crafting the plus armor the day before it ends. I'll give a time line and a tip to explain how.

Boss starts at 8pm my time. I usually spend 10 gems to get EE after I've run out if I don't make it to 15. I start crafting the non-plus about an hour after boss (9pm). Go to bed. During the length of time the non-plus is crafting I craft snakeskins and fill my inventory with them. When the non-plus is done (saturday around 1pm usually), I use basics to get it to 12, uncommons to 18, and then use all those snakeskins I have. Then just keep making snakeskins and enhancing the non-plus to 35. Usually I have the non-plus at 35 around saturday night at the same time I hit 43. Start crafting the plus on saturday night. Then I fill my inventory with snakeskins again, and use only the overflow from continuous crafting to enhance extra armors.

This... Otherwise you're asking us to get the non plus version armor to 35 the instant it's done and it already takes ~2 days to beat 15(due to energy restrictions/sleep) unless you spend money for energy. then 3 days to craft it(5 days). make it 35 and craft the plus(another 3 days). Aka it's 8 days already... making this redemption almost impossible.

Not to mention to even craft the plus you'd need kill 43.

You don't need normal versions. For the 100th time. I don't have the normal versions, and both my armors are checked off in the reward screen.

I don't think you necessarily HAVE to use gems to do this. Several people have posted how they can do it without gems. That being said, I am most likely not one of those players (although I'm going to give it my best shot). What frustrates me about this is that I was thinking I could do this before I saw the dates. I missed out on being able to do the full Beast Master because I couldn't get to lvl 43 at the time, and that motivated me to be ready for the next time. Now the next time comes around and even though I can get to 43 consistently now, I don't think I can complete the quest because they upped the ante and pulled the timeline in. It depresses me because the same thing happend to me on the Old One quest. I couldn't get the 5/6 tier due to my power limitations. Now I could probably do it, but I'm paranoid that if they did it again I'd be SOL because they'd make it just that much harder. :)

Of course the awards this time around are not as cool as Beast Master, so I'm not too stressed about it. I figure I'll give it a shot, and if I don't make it, I still have 3 more Boss + armors that I was going to craft anyway!

It's not that difficult.
This is the 3rd boss since I can level 43 in EB, and at Circe I actually managed to get 43 with a bit less than 3 days left.
All you need is preparations. This isn't actually difficult if you have all the armors ready to throw at it. If you're too lazy and fail because you did everything on the last moment, that's your problem. It takes half a day to get to level 15, 2 days 16 hours 48 minutes to craft it (when Armorsmith level 3), a few hours to craft the final enhancement fodder and to level Horseman's Battlegear to level 35, and another 2 days 16 hours 48 minutes to craft the plus version. That's about 6 days in total. The remaining hours you can use to get to level 43 as quickly as possible before crafting the plus version, if you hadn't managed already before unlocking the plus.

And even if you're barely not going to make it and really want the rewards, what's a few dollars to make it happen? I understand some of you won't spend hundreds of $ to get an Epic for example, but less than $5 for the difference of getting rewards or no rewards seems worth it to me.

I really think this is accidental mistake in the timing. All the previous boss collections gave one week after the final boss. I dont think they intended to push the redemption period an entire week earlier than the previous ones. Considering that the rewards are in line with the previous ones the challenge should match up. I dont doubt that there are a few players that can complete this an entire week earlier but im willing to bet this is a mistake.

I seriously doubt gree intended to make this collection much more difficult to complete than the previous ones by having the redemption period a week earlier. It seems much more likely to me that this was a simple mistake that i think they should correct.

I asked about the redemption dates, and everybody told that it was probably a mistake. Of course it's possible to do it without gems, but it requires time... and you know, time is money for most of the people.
See, I don't want to argue about it... who spend more time (or more money) wins... it's obvious and right.
What really doesn't make any sense is about offering beast keys for giving a lot of time, and DPC keys for such a harder quest.

I know, I know, the cape. I will go on without it :)

As much as I don't like it, I'm thinking that the dates are correct. When it was just the announcement banner there could be speculation, but now the collection option is out, still showing 11/6 end date. I can see maybe that they made a mistake with the banner and never got around to fixing it, but with all the "noise" generated by this on the forum you'd think they would make extra sure to get the dates right on the redemption window.

So I planned to get all the + versions by the deadline however now that horseman is crafted I apparently missed the deadline parameters for the boss + even though I. Have the mats in possession. Thought I had to the end of the redemption period. Could anyone please explain why this wasn't advertised? Or did I just miss something?

Even if I can craft the + before the event deadline, each + had to be crafted in their respective week. Wish I would have known this so I could have got the cape.

I just finished the Witch's Robes+ version about 10 hours before my first Horseman's Battlegear, you know, like 11 hours ago, and it shows a shiny green check mark on my +version rewards. Clearly it wasn't finished in the prior week.

I agree with Busteroaf, there's no suggestion that you have to have all the +armours crafted within the week of their respective bosses. I certainly didn't for the first two bosses, but I've got the ticks to show all is good.

I'll have level 43 done tonight and start crafting the +armour immediately, to be finished well within the deadline. This week's the only one you have to do within the same week.

You don't need to have each armor crafted before the respective boss ends, just each armor crafted before the deadline :)

It said this for my normal armors (Didn't realize this even was coming up, waited to craft armors), and after I crafted them, it cleared and I earned my 3 gold chest keys. No worries man.

That is strange.

I just finished crafting both Witch+ and Wolf+ yesterday.

The reward screens says "Earn final reward before time runs out".

I'm on Android, if that makes a difference.

Did you possibly craft them, then fuse them away? I've now seen a screenshot that says "missed" but still not sure what causes it.

Did you possibly fuse them away before the collection screen popped up? Or possibly not reach 43?

After I set the + armors to crafting it no longer says missed the requirement. Hope this means I get the cape. Also yes I got to level 43 on all 3 bosses. I'm not familiar with uploading an iPad screenshot on here. Any quick tips?

Well, I managed to hit the 43rd kill before my non + version even finished crafting, the + version of HH will be done in about 12 hours. Huzzah Huzzah. Hell, not only did I manage to hit 43 kills faster then ever(a full day and some change), I'm currently going for kill #56. if I can hit 4 kills later today/tonight, and 1 more on Wednesday before it flips, I'll manage to get 60 without using any gems whatsoever.
