Well, this comes with a lot of sadness, but I guess the lesson learnt is to never trust the big promises mumbled by some nobodies and always ask for screenshots of points from previous GW's. That will weed out the liars very quickly.

Its good to recruit while you still have access to the guild war tab. Their scores transfer over so you can see for yourself. But also scary time cause lots of leechers who were kicked, are looking for new guilds.

I'd advise not adding anyone to the guild 24 hours prior to a guild war.
Unless you know them well.

Ha! Your right, thanks for sharing that! I recruited a few new guys and one of them is level 75 and fought 6 fights! He will have to donate a lot before the next war or he will be cut before the fights! Thanks again!

Screen players on Line before you take them. You don't get many bad personalities/leechers if you do. Accepting random guild requests is possibly the worst thing you can do.

all the guys were Line screened, Unresolved. No one accepted random requests in PB.

Need to work on some screening tactics then ;).
The better you are at it, the less leechers you'll accept.

Screenshots and/or chat with the recruits to gauge if they're genuine. Also to check on level of maturity/idiocy.

I tend to only do my adds 2-3 weeks before the next war. This way I can look at performance, ability to socialize, and see if they buy gems for chests etc before a war. I then replace those who don't cut it 2 weeks before war and repeat.

That way I tend to get a good draft of people.

I recommend chatting with potential recruits on a chat app prior to accepting them in.

has proven very successful for me.

Have a probation period for new members. That way any doubts of the players will be resolved.

Note for any guild masters or guilds out there, avoid a player named Drizzle(lv 106) unless you want to carry someone who does 17k pts.. he lied to us, and from what i heard he has done the same to the past 2-3 guilds he has been in. He has forgestone 90/99, combustion 62/70, blackfrost 60/70, tec 41/99. some of his knights names are wind, ghost, mountain. he has all but 1 expansion--> 3 smiths, rest lvl 2 tf's.. also claims he was the creator of u2ez
