Soulshard Necromantle, the stats are great. You look like a necromancer. But the element combo being repeated, makes moontide useless. Discuss.

Not useless. Its a second high stat spirit/water combo armor. No armor is useless unless you have 3 other armors that out gear it or have element combo's you can't use. A reg Moontide is better than most legendaries currently, and still holds a single element advantage over earth armors and a double element bonus against fire and earth, while still giving up the fire disadvantage.

Unless you have 2 moontide + then it is still good. Having three of each armor combo is a good thing

The plus version, from a few fast tests seems great. I have HC bonus and quite good guild bonuses aswell. Here are some results:

My main vs BB:

Takes 3 hits to take me down, I take BB down with two hits
One special attack takes down a BB if it isn't on enemy's main

My main vs Forgestone Aegis+ -> The damage is even (1 dmg difference I think, 293 vs 294 or something like that)

The damage is really, really high. I didn't expect it to be that good, but so far it has been a great addition to my line up.

I always think the necromantle matchs the concept of deathknight really well since the first time I saw Necromantle. They are from the same race - undead. ;)

You sound like Karl, all despondent that he couldn't fuse a moontide! I love our new epic...mostly because we dominated faces to get it!
