Unit from buying LTE buildings?

I'm Farley new and I am just wondering if you actually get a unit from buying the LTE Building or is it just if you upgrade them?? Thanks for your time

Every upgrade to an LE Building during the month (roughly) that it is active will result in a higher paying building plus an indestructible unit. Once the World Domination event associated with the building is over, you may still upgrade the building, but no unit will be awarded for doing so.

Yes you get a unit for buying the building. You only get the unit once it is done being built. And then you get another unit every time you finish upgrading the building.
