I have been playing for about a year and 5 months. I still remember being thrilled when I got the one year veteran and seeing it on my top49 list.

I remember when I would get so pis.sed that I didn't have the daylight chaser cause I'm on Android, then I got the 1 year vet and I felt I was on top of the world.

At the time, you needed to be a veteran to buy the anniversary centre in the first place. I hope the two year anniversary is the introduction of a second anniversary centre but this time instead of costing $100mil and pay $2mil/day, make it cost $1billion and pay $20mil/day. That would be consistent with stat-flation and reward 2 year veterans for their loyalty and perseverance to the game - since only 2 year vets may be able to afford it.

Yes I have one, Those were the days when Big units were rare, however have now become common place. I would be disappointed if I got one now and not a 5000k + unit.

I have been playing for about a year and a half and my def is at 800k+ on lev 168.
I have a second account at lev 54 and can across someone with a 770k def. That's just crazy. Gree has not rewarded those who have been playing a long time, mearly punished us by introducing these larger units which very low levels can achieve, like the beat the boss 100 times. I have no chance with my HLP.

Ahhh yes. Been here since late November/early December 2011. You know, the first few times when listening to the music didn't drive you insane. Everyone I know plays muted. That repetitive "military crisis" music is so cliche now.

My strategy at first was to avoid fights because all my units were getting killed off!!! My lame 1500 iph barely kept the light gunners around when the first tournament appeared: defeat as many opponents as possible, and then win (i think) elite base defense, a 200/350 stat unit. That was a brutal tournament with the extremely high casualty rates; I felt like I was at Hamburger Hill all over again.

But yeah, good to be a survivor for this long. The 2-year veteran unit should be an infantry unit: the Mega Smart Psychotherapist, 0/365 and his bonus takes you to http://www.olganon.org/ . Then you visit his buddy the Mega Smart Class Action Litigator, and then.....yikes, I'm up way too late to be playing in the forums. Have a wonderful evening all.

Now at 1m stats i dont even do ltqs anymore (unless faction ltqs) i mean i could barely complete normal mode and half of prestige, those 5-10k in stats arent worth the xp i gain anymore

Still here. My 1 year vet sat close to the top of my 45 best, but it isnt in my army any longer. He just hangs out at the barracks, waiting for Gree to push the units to 3K, then, maybe, he will get a chance to hit the trenches again.

Got mine. But since my 45th unit is now something like a 3k/3k unit, he feels just a bit lonely.

Interestingly, my 4th-10th top units are all the Wraith Goliaths from the recent faction boss event. 7 of them. And we still don't know if it was intentional (doubtful) or a bug. My One Year Veteran infantry unit now has a posse of Goliaths to ride around in. He feels pretty safe.

That would be fantastic... as long as it wasn't colored like the Monster Lab or something stupid. They had a few cool buildings out for a while (even if re-used from standard play) but seem to have let the kids run the art development this go around.

February will be my 2 years. I remember being soooooo p1ssed that they gave out the elite base defense to people that had an iph over 300k. Mine was over 300k but because I didn't complain within 24 hours they refused to give it to me! I fumed over that for months, at the time my top unit had about 80 stats. The elite base defense was over 300 stats and I thought it would never get surpassed. I must have b1tched about that on here and to support for about 6 months!

I now have three of them and they are given out like candy half way through LTQs. How the world has changed.
