Would it be conceptually better to list the syndicates in rank order on the syndicate list tab in game?
Just scrolling through all the dead 1/20 syndicates seems kind of archaic. As a bonus it might be funny to see all the spammed request for FC or others in the top.

Then your odds of recruiting off the syndicate list aren't any worse than they are now. Besides which, this way more people could be placed where they felt they fit in.

Have it list the syndicates by order alphabetically, rank in descending & ascending order. This would be a problem because Molly Maguires would get over 1000 requests per day.

Alphabetical order wouldn't be much different than it is now.

No the original poster is right. The syndicate list is horribly fragmented. You can't contact a syndicate leader, can't see their roster, and can't learn anything about a syndicate about its rules from the search function. Likewise syndicate leaders can't learn anything about the people applying to their syndicates. There is no reason for this. The only thing that would change by allowing more functionality (better search options, giving syndicates more information space etc) would be that players could find syndicates that match their play styles more easily and might be happier and stay and play longer.

What about search options.

Put some filters in. Number of members, bonus's, rank etc
