View Full Version : Would you pay money at the chance at ultra rare and Legendary?

Currently they are running a promotion at the chance of 5 times the chance of ultra rare (3 star) or Legendary (4 star) for 20 gems (2 dollars) or 200 gems (20 dollars) assuming you buy the Gems on sale at 79.99 for 800 gems.
Myself - no I would not. Why spend money for armor that is worse than the epic mob armor? There are only four legendary pieces at the plus version better than the guaranteed plus version of the current epic Mob's legendary Swamp-stone plate mail and one of those armors was the previous "Armor of the Bear" of last week. Someone really thought hard on this promotion.
What's even worse about this promotion after you spend 20 dollars the majority of the armor you get will be 1 star - 2 star crap.
They need to re-think what they are doing because epics have rebalanced the game and not for the good.

Totally agree.
Maybe it's a mind trick to make people think they should purchase the more expensive and slightly better chest

They could at least release some new legendary and ultra armors to make it seem like a remotely interesting chest. There hasn't been anything new in the dpc since combustion. New epics are cool and everything but why not release newer lower rarity armors too?

No, I wouldn't. I used 5 keys from the LTQ and got 1/2 star junk. It was free but will I spend money in the future? Nope!

No, DP chests are pointless now.
No chance of getting epic armors, extremely low chance of getting the best legendary armors that are maybe slightly better than current boss+, and half decent chance of getting nemesis armors that have been made obsolete by epics.
I think if they put reg. epics in DP chest, and epic+ in limited edition chests, maybe people will continue to buy DP chests.

Agree now dp is like a useless chest....

Agree now dp is like a useless chest....
Only armors in it with higher stats than boss+ I think are Clay+, Combustion+ and Aegis o/t Dragon+, so the DPC is only "useful" to people who can't reach epic boss level 43 yet.

Dark prince chests is totally useless now if fact of useful armors. The only good things you can pull out are combustion+, clayplate+ and aegis,of the dragon regular-plus. The chanches pf getting pne pf those are something like 1 in 1000 or more. At this point, if i should buy those chests, put chanches for new revamped 2600 stats legendaries like the actual boss armors, or 3000 stats regular epics. Actually is better to spend twice and buy the weekly chests, that contains epics. The chanches are ridicolous, but almost you get frequently three stars, and sure 50 ep armors.

Funny - I posted the same thing in my guild chat before reading this thread. I'd rather have 5 gold keys than 5 DP keys. At least with the gold I get stones and gems.

I agree with everyone, though to be honest I've gotten way better things in DPC than I ever have in any of the Limited Ed Chests i've bought to date.

$100 will get you more fusion boosts from DPC than beast, & any current ****+ is still considered a top tier armor. Epics are the "luck" tier.

I'd rather have a higher chance of fusion boost armors from gold chests than a better chance of legendaries from DPC.
