Would it be possible to up the stats on any gold units bought before the stat inflation?

Would it be possible to up the stats on any gold units bought before the stat inflation? ye it would be possible but why would u wanna do that and spend more gold for weaker units when u can use that same gold and get double or even triple the stats of those old gold units..for example u can use 800 gold and buy a stealth naveal command with 400/400 stats(this is higher then one the old gold units i have which is the gatling gun) then u can use that same gold and use it on the boss event or a ltq and get alot more stats then this

HA! GREE would prefer to slap you in the face instead. Sh*t, if you paid real money for them a while back, ... You'll just dump more real money in for the new inflatables. C'mon, this is all business for them. Well, business with a bit of experimental psychology.
