So for this boss, spirit & air armors will give 100% extra damage, but take 50% extra damage. Sky Guardian, Armor of Notus, Beastmaster Battlegear.

Spirit & earth, and spirit & water armors will give 50% extra damage, without taking any extra damage. Assassin's Shroud, Guardian Battlegear, Armor of Bear, Armor of Eurus, Blackfrost Raiment, and Moontide.

This boss is good for me, got bear + crafting and using Blackfrost max for now! also got GB so good to go. :) (this will be my second + boss after bear)

depends on how much gold you have. If you have a lot I'd say moontide, Bear+ is the more economical option.

I opened my knights and dragons today, as I do everyday, by clicking on the app. But something was not right. I soon realized that there was some weird broccoli monster on my map. We met eyes and it was as if it were staring right through me. Being a member of the kids next door, I knew it would be an adversary of epic proportions, something that as a level 3 Dwarf Psion I am just not ready for. I cast memory hole as quick as I could and was lucky enough to land a hit. I then snuck away and closed out of my app in order to immobilize the beast. Is anyone else having this issue? It is terrifying, and I am afraid to reopen my app. Please somebody help, I don't know what to do. This is not the first time either. In previous weeks I have had blue circles with white inside them, seemingly scribbled onto my map, a strange warrior wearing a chicken mask, and even the wicked witch from the Wizard of Oz. Again, somebody please help me this is a continuing issue and it's really scary.

I'd like to see another event. Focus on that top-left portion of the circle that's been missing lately. 4 armors to enhance and +, fire/air, air/water, earth/air, fire/water. Make them all mages carrying books with different colored floating orbs. IDK, I'm not a design major. But that air/water corner is really underwhelming right now.

Agreed, this is the third Water/Earth boss since we had a stab at an Earth/Air, the Dragon Tortoise. That was back in my second week of playing so I had no chance at a +version.

The +stats at 1275/1255 are a great deal better than Slimelord+ 1290/1027 or Jackalope+ 1121/1103 though, so I'm going to be maxing the +version, but it's not going to be enough to match up to Epics in the Arena.

Are these higher stats an anomaly, or are we going to see these sort of numbers in Epic Boss Legendaries from now on? They're as good as Guardian's Battlegear+ 1213/1302, which was a War reward and the strongest Dual element armor I have.

This interested me and I created a quick table/line graph of the total EBA+ armor stats since I've started playing. I will update this file with earlier bosses at a later time. Might even do a little forecasting one I collect more data...

I think it's on par with where EB+ armors should be: ~2500. That puts them squarely at the level of previously uber-poweful 4* armors, and still below 5* armors. As a free player, I'm fine with this. It makes getting an Epic that much more special, which I think was the original intent anyways.

The Leaderboard Rewards of the Epic Boss are ridiculous. 500 gold for rank 2k till 5k? You'd have to be ~level 70 to reach that, you wouldn't care about 500 gold... 10k gold and one Fusion Stone for rank 26-50? 10k gold isn't even enough to utilise that Fusion Stone lmao.

Just either remove the Leaderboard rewards for the lower ranks or increase them, as the current ones hardly make a difference at all. The Victory Rewards are all we're aiming for, only the hardcore players care about the extra Epic Boss armor you could achieve when top 25.

The armors are also pretty pointless, since they force you to refrain from crafting the non-plus until after the boss disappears or else the leaderboard armor will just be 94-109EP enhancement fodder. (it's a non-plus armor)

I never, even when I was a newbie, understood why you would want the extra armor. You can now craft 3 to get that far, plus the one gift? You have to craft the + version regardless, since the top 25 one isn't a plus. What would be the benefit of receiving it? Having a second? You could, in essence, have 3 plus versions of one. You would have to wait until you get top 25, level that one, then have 3 armorsmiths completely locked up for 3 days to smith 3 plus versions, then spend 2 weeks leveling all three to max. All while ignoring the fact that there is a new boss coming every week. Is it worth the effort for 92 extra EP ?

Anyone who is constantly in top 25 each week, BethMo, Eunie, 600. Is there some hidden methodology I'm not catching? (that doesn't involve dumping all the chest fodder into it and doing it all in 2 days.)

Sorry to say but I don't think you'll make the 43 this time based on the info given. 5 days down, 3 to go. Without proper armor I don't think it will be possible without at least a few gems.

Hm. That sucks. I wonder what I'm doing wrong then, cause Im pretty sure I started very early with this boss. I've also been paying attention and playing for a good amount daily.

Managing your epic energy and friends is vital to get to the higher levels of the boss.
If you're at 9 1/2 - 10 energy the moment the new boss appears, if you have a decent armor, the EE drops should sustain you to about level 10-14 in that first 1 - 1 1/2 hours of the boss' week.
Being European, that means I'm usually battling the new boss from 2AM to 3AM though, after which it has a night to regen. :-|

I got 5 gems right now and I'll be getting the 15 gems from Refer a Friend-thing soon, so I can buy more Energy when necessary.

Probably won't be needing more gems to finish on future Epic Bosses because I level really quickly.

If you can do 31 easily with 5 knights, then 35 with 7 knights should work out fine without need for gems, especially since friends will have much more health than followers if they are similar level to you or higher.

Don't assume you're doing something wrong at this point. The staggered element bosses are much more difficult to get real high with than the stacked ones. You either do less damage against them, or take more.

Yea im from Holland also. No I used one knight I believe until 15, used two nights for the 15 boss till like 18 or so I believe. I think its just time, I might have started a whole day too late. Also the element thing of course, only having one/two chars doing 50% extra but taking 50% too isn't that great.

Now im using 3 Knights + 1 friend. Though I think I can do 2 knights + 1 friend
