why so many blind attacks?

I have a mini L40 with 50k attack. As a camper I try to keep my attack above Lx1000.
IMHO this puts me in the top 10% of my level.

But why are there so many players doing blind attacks?
In my news list I have +40 wins and 0 losses!

I never engage in battle without checking the enemy stats!

Most people at level 40 are new players. They don't know how to play the game yet.

I'm pretty sure if they're from a top 10 they wont be losing to a L40 50k player (no offense to OP, i'm talking about top 10)

Btw 1000 attack/lvl was considered good 2-3 months ago. Now it's chum territory.

I think blind attacking is one of the fun parts of the game. It helps to have really strong stats for your level, but it is still a gamble. Plus it is quicker to find good hoods to rob. I just attack till i find a no banker or someone with strong stats then search their hood.

Agree with this - same for scouting in wars, which is much more fun than tap, tap, tapping on your chosen target afterwards :)

Beating your head against a wall repeatedly is still stoopid though!

Happens all the time. My lvl 28 alt account with over 200k attack gets attacked all the time. Mainly adding $$$ to my total lol. Must be the "newb" factor.

haha 1000x stats at level 40, there are weapons given out recently that we worth more than that, I remember the days when they were considered insanely high stats like top 1% now lets hace it 1000x is barely average

And the worst part is your getting exp point for each attack you win

Half of them are on Android phones and it takes 6 minutes to load your hood and crashes the game if you have more than 50 decorations. The other half are morons. Both good reasons to give the attack button on the rivals list a good fingering.

It doesn't really stop at the HLs. Some people will lose just to see your top 45 items. Usually this happens if you're a baller. #smug

I have asked people who have lost to me 4 or 5 times a day how they can be so daft, and usually the response is that they are at work and are blasting through the list without looking because they only have a few minutes to play.

i like blind attacking saves me time and if i lose by a little they are usually a good rob. im up in the shark tank and get hit by the smug all the time but they dont get much. smug

#1) 1000xLV is not strong attack anymore. It might be okay at your level, but 3000xLV might be a better threshold these days.

#2) If they have a poor IPH and bank their money, then they "don't have anything to lose" except W/L stats which most of us don't care about.

Based on what I see on my patrols, I think you're right about the 3000x level. I'm at that strength and I can rob just about everyone on my feed but would lose straight up fights to the especially strong people.
