Because these chests are just the most valuable now. The next event will be the next 'most valuable'...again. Pretty simple concept to wrap your head around. The problem is how they keep raising the gem costs for something that simply comes down to luck.

I have some low lvl people in ny guild between 60 and lvl100. They are the ones who get the good stuff. There has to be some kinda coding that gives much better chance to noobish players. I got 7 Riverstone 8torchflame and swamp shamen. Chest was free, but still this is a great way to discourage anyone from wasting money in this game. Cept for possible noob with better odds to trick them later on.

Could be true. One of my guildmate joined when he was in the 50's, and already had 2 epic armors. When I asked him, he told me he bought 4 chests (with free gems), and got 2 epics. Now he is just going to keep saving gems to buy chests, thinking the chances will always be that good.

I think this is a BS rumor - we've had three epics pop in our guild (about half sub 100 members) and each of them went to 100+ member. The sample group in the forum is skewed. Get more data before jumping to this conclusion.

So I figured bugger it and opened another 11 chests. Got a moon tide regular, my first epic so I'm happy even tho it ended up costing a lot. I also got another sky guardian+ so overall after about 40 chests I got one moon tide, 2 sky guardian+ and two regular boilerplate.

What would I lose from promoting the morale of the players, especially where many players come to read what others got and decide for themselves if it's worth it to buy some more chests? In the long run, Gree would probably profit even more.

So what I'm getting at is just don't necessarily trust these people especially on a forum where the game developers actually do come on here to post stuff. If there are no pictures then there is no proof right?

It's the same concept as good story telling. Why is every story about a hero? Because a story that isn't is boring. This is the same. There are only two types of things people find worth saying, "I got really lucky!!" and "I didn't get lucky at all!!" The in between story of success after a number of tries is hardly interesting. The ones that open 200 chests and get 3 epics feel like that's an average number and highly believable, so it isn't worth talking about. The reason there are more people commending themselves is because it's easier for people to brag than to self loathe. Everyone loves success, few like sharing their disdain. It's not lying; it's human nature.

Doubting Thomas/Conspiracy Theorist much? People are posting plenty of screenshots on Line. The forums is not the end-all/be-all of communication. Also, it would be a pretty **** move if they were posting stuff like that, and I seriously doubt a legit company would do that. If they were ever busted for it, you could imagine the repercussions. Your stocks would fall horribly from the backlash, people would lose jobs, etc.

This isn't youtube or other websites where you can tell all the cheat/hack/glitch videos with links and stuff are bogus, even though they have 20 random people commenting to say "gosh, it works perfectly, thanks!" There you only have to ban the poster and take down the video, or shut down the website.

Are you saying you spent over $300 on gems? 800 gems is $99 iirc, and to open 88 chests(11 for 350 gems), you'd need 350 x 8 = 2800 gems. So, yeah..over $300 on gems. That's insane. I had well over 2k gems from the last 30% sale, then I bought another 1600 this last 20% sale. Its disposable income, so im not over here crying cuz my kids cant eat this week, but it would be nice to be able to compete with people like those from the top guilds, who seem to be getting every epic every time a new one pops. I assume they are no different then me, with a few bucks disposable income, and don't care that they are paying for entertainment. Hell when I goto a strip club, or night club, im bound to drop at least 600+ in just drinks/dances/fun. So that's how I reason with the loss of the dollars.

But on the other hand, getting nothing but 2* fodder for over $300 spent, is like going to the strip club, and paying 300 dollars for lap dances, and then find out when the lights are on that the "girl" was a trans!. (never happened to me but great analogy)

MFFP stats are weird. It's actually highest at lvl 69 then starts changing randomly. Stats at lvl 69 (for the + version) are 1869 atk and 1602 def.

We don't expect Epics. I, for one, definitely didn't expect anything above a super rare. The one thing I don't like about what Gree did was over-hype it. That's what everyone's going on about. The fact that it is actually worse than a previous chest and called "the most valuable" chest is the problem. People don't like being lied to but you gotta expect it all the time. You've never heard an adult complain? Just because little kids are usually the ones who complain, doesn't mean that adults don't. Never heard of customer complaints? They do change things you know. The game wouldn't be built if there were no complaints to build it up. Maturity isn't defined simply through one thing. It's a combination of them. If something is unfair (in this case, falling for the marketing tactics Gree is using for money), you complain. Talking about it might get things off their chest if they feel it may change something. Let people talk all they want but don't criticize them for doing what they believe is right. You have your world and they have theirs.

I got 17 2* armors from my free keys and I do agree with Dianish. The keys(except GW ones) were easy to get without gems and rewarded consistent playing. The chest was indeed the most valuable because it had the most number of epics. Misleading? Sure. But it's not an outright lie. Many of my guildmates did get epics from the chest, so it's certainly not a sham. I'm surprised the epic rate was even that high.

Tricky info? They said most valuable ever. That is up for interpretation. The way they treat you? They gave you free stuff for doing things that most people already do in game, albeit in a different, time sensitive way.

Many people are confusing the Beast Brawl events that gave out keys, and what the Beast Chest said. That isn't on Gree, that is on the people confusing stuff. They said you'd get legendary rewards from crafting and collecting boss armors (+ some keys for the beast chest). Boss armors are Legendary. Gree's statement: true.

The Beast Chest would be the most valuable ever: they gave away 2* and up, with 5 fusion boost armors with the purchase of 11 chests. So its only a 4x legendary and epic chance, but you get a GUARANTEED 5 fusion boosts with 11 chests. Has any other chest given out 5 fusion boosts with 2* and up armors in them? In that case, again Gree's statement: true.

Again, up for interpretation, but on the whole, they delivered, and people don't want to accept it cause they didn't get an epic out of their free "we already do this in game, give us free stuff" keys that they got.

I guess the reason I was actually happy with this chest is because from day one since I started playing this game, I knew what Gree's reputation was. I heard they pretty much closed down one of their other apps when they decided it was time to move on for their own interests and customers who spent money on the app were all but neglected. So long as this game is free and enjoyable there really isn't anything to be disappointed about. They even gave us the opportunity to get some keys without gems. If you think about it we really aren't entitled to anything since we did not spend money on the game and for those who spent time and money, that was your choice. Now I'm not saying this to bash players or Gree but if you were disappointed then you probably overestimated Gree's generosity by a long shot. If you missed iut on the epic just wait for next chest for a shot at it but if you yourself expected to get an epic then you mustve expected everyone to get an epic and that would be no fun if everyone did right?

Sounds to me like you're still mad/sour about the loss of fusing epics because you weren't "told" about it, or might have held onto your armors. Everyone had just as much chance as anyone else to get an epic. Some people just pulled the trigger faster, and others didn't. And what about the people that STILL got the Tectonic from fusing, even if they stopped it once they knew it was a guaranteed fusion? They'd still have the advantage, and everyone else would STILL be complaining. Stop kidding yourself.

Perhaps ensuring all 2* armours were + version would've been better to distinguish it from other limited time chests. I personally would love a Stormrage+ but I only got 2 normal versions.

A little disappointed the 11 chest guarantee was Fusion Boosts, as previous boss collection prize was BKal+, but given how many people completed LTQ you probably couldn't expect anything greater than a legendary or 3*+.

Couldn't agree more. I think Gree made a huge mistake with the Guild Wars and the way the rewards go. Clearly, stats have to inflate a little bit each go around or everyone levels a bunch of armors and then quits because they have everything.

Its just that the way they did it leads to way to quick inflation, and leads to certain guilds having stuff thats way too good. Rather than giving Guild #1 and armor with 3500 points and Guilds 2-10 an armor with 3100 points, they should have given all of the top 10 guilds an armor with 3100 points, but given the top guild one that has elemental advantage over the others. IE, 2-10 get Cloudrange, 1 gets Stonecloud (air/stone). Much less stat inflation, but the same effect - winners end up with a temporarily stronger armor.

Right now the armors are going up a couple hundred points a month. Forgestone is 200 points better than CloudRange. Beastmaster is 500 points better than moonplate. Bear+ is 500 points better than Mantle of the Beast. Its a little out of control.

I remember reading on the forums that someone claimed to get one. There was no picture or stats associated. As far as I knew Tectonic only came in non-plus until a guildie got a + in the beast chest. However, the banner for beast master says, "1707/1806." My beast master regular is 1552/1552 at 99. So it does exist.

Unless you knew that, in which case I just surprised myself at how unbelievable those numbers sound.. 1707/1806 is 3513 total. Good Lord.

Well grats to all those that (a) fused an epic instead of wasting a chance on beast keys like me and (b) got epics. No *****ing from those that got multiple epics, since some of us with 23 keys got bubkis.

Thanks I was one of the lucky ones...caught a lot flak from all the "smart" players when I said I wasn't waiting...I just leveled both the Blaze and tectonic to 99...and regardless of what Eunochorn says it makes the game more fun for me and I did not spend a nickel...the beast keys yielded nothing...they never have... which is why I don't spend on them. I do expect that I will hit one some day from a key I earned doing a quest though.... :). Good to see all the other free chest winners as it keeps the game healthy and it gives buster and eunochorn players to beat up...LOL..

True, but it is rather tough in the arena going up against people with 3 epics (and will likely be the same in the next war).

Yeah, unfortunately, it didn't occur to me that it was an 'either/or' thing, or I would have done the same. Next time, assuming there is a next time, I will definitely take the 'sure thing' even if I risk losing out on the 'maybe.'

stop the hate on the beast keys. they gave me an epic with bunch of 2 star armors and a 4 start one which I used to lvl it :). Even if I hadn't open the epic the keys gave me a chance for free which is pretty cool :). People who should whine are the people who actually spend not us who got free stuff. I have bunch of epic boss pluses maxed and let me tell u they can compete. the free chests were just a cool gift. Im glad I got lucky but rather have spend my luck on the lottery

Hey man k&d is not a skill game. This game at its core is a spending game. They give the free chests out so eventually some of the non spenders get something which gives hope to other non spenders that hey it could be me next time causing them to keep playing. the luck part is the genius part about this game because it makes the spenders spend more and more hoping they get something (but nothing is guaranteed like the guy spending 500 dollars without getting an epic) because they want to be the best; meanwhile, they r supporting us, the servers and make gree rich which then allows gree to put up free events for everyone etc... Now if someone pulls 2 epics from 11 keys they should quit and play the lottery. I also will point out that in real life whether its sports or academics everyone needs luck to succeed. ;) Enjoy free man because u don't get much of it :) in games or irl

Just 2 weeks ago I had no EB+ armors, finally broke through on the ember lizard and beringar, then topped it off with amazing luck from the chest. Now I just need a faster way to produce enhancement fodder. Already blew through all my fusion stones.

That's awesome man, congrats! The enhancing part is a pain no matter what, so good luck with that. It can be very difficult to get enough fusion stones while enhancing epics.

I used up my 23 free beast keys and got the usual kick in the bawls. 2* enhancement fodder.

Had 200 or so gems left from the previous war, so opened approx 5 beast chests and copped a dik punch of more 2*

Grabbed myself some more gems yesterday opened 5 chests picked up a storm sourcer+ kinda cool except I have one already maxed...

Then... Thought May as well open another 11(all at once) and it gave me, moontide+, maelstrom, and Dark Prince+

I did receive 3 legendary monos amongst all this, but as you know they may of well been 2* with there cruddy stats

Finanally got to use my 30+ enchancement armours!

Pulling out epics doesn't mean you'll rule the arena. Epics require a lot of dedicated playing to level up beyond 4*.

If you get beaten by an epic in the arena, you were beaten by someone who spent days and weeks farming snakeskins and earning fusion stones and collecting gold.
