With all the free offers I've done(Including doing one of the freed credit score things. God those are a pain in the butt to cancel! You A: have to call, you can't do it online, and B: They ask you all these moronic questions, and offer you discount after discount to stay with them), I've gotten to open about 8 or 9 of these special 30 gem chests, and I've yet to get anything decent. All 2 star armors, and 6 of them have been freaking embersteel. Two others were some earth/spirit armor, and I can't remember the last one.

I'm honestly starting to doubt the "2x" and "4x" chance at legendary/epic armors.

Yet, I'm still oddly tempted to do the other free credit score and the lifelock one, just so I can have enough gems to open 10 at once(and get those 3 free earth fusion boost armors!).

Don't keep doing the credit scores man, every time you have your credit pulled it lowers your score a little. Also, when I was younger I did one because I was curious of my credit score and went with a site I thought was legit and shortly after had my identity stolen, which was a big pain in the butt to get fixed.

Off Topic, but please don't tell people this. Checking your reports and score should be done at a minimum once a year to be sure that the information is accurate. The Fair Credit Reporting Act requires each of the nationwide credit reporting companies to provide you with a free copy of your credit report, at your request, once every 12 months.

Checking your own credit report or credit score does "not" hurt your credit score. It's considered a soft inquiry.

If you apply for credit, and a bank pulls your credit score, that's considered a hard inquiry and can negatively impact your score.

You're right though, just be sure you're pulling your information from a reputable company. The best way is to go to the website linked by the FTC page.
