Hi, my faction has 35% health regen bonus and I have a unit that has 20%, but my total says 44% when it should be 55%, and I sent in a ticket a few days ago and haven't gotten a reply so could someone help me?

I have read on one of the threads that it doesn't add straight up like that... I cant understand why it wouldn't be straight adding percents, but hey its gree.

yes its not an additive effect. its a multipicitive effect. I believe all time based one are like this. so in effect you could never reach 0.

Yup This!

First you don't have 35% from your faction. You have (.95*.95*.95*.95*.95*.95*.95)

Now take that same forumal and multiply it by .8

Now take 1 and subtract that number (1-.55866984)

I get 44%

If they didn't calculate that way people would already have over 100% health regen.

Yeah, that makes sense... each bonus is 5%, and your bonus unit is 20%, but these reduce time from 100% - unlike adding a percentage to a value.

So, if it takes 26 minutes to restore health without any bonuses, your 7 stacked 5% bonuses and single 20% bonus would each deduct from the total time thus:
26*0.95*0.95*0.95*0.95*0.95*0.95*0.95*0.80 with all your bonuses, or 14.5 minutes... 56% of 26, which is 44% faster.
(26min -5% -5% -5% -5% -5% -5% -5% -20%)

Just repeating what the last 2 said.

But yeah, if you got 5 of those 20% bonuses plus your faction bonus and simply added them, you'd end up with 135% off, and it's not possible to deduct a value of time by 135% unless you can create time. Your health would have to anticipate you using it and regenerate 35% before you use it, lol.

This is not a bug... Gree designed any bonuses or units that subtract anything to depreciate as you get more... I should have over 75% health regen, but I only have 53% ... The more regen units you get the less they will help. Anything that adds however (attack boosts, etc) will give full value. Frustrating, but it's the way it is! This btw is just my less complex answer to your question, lol... No math ;-)
