My plan for helping stop stat inflation

Firstly we must do the obvious and cut down on the stats for all future units, and must partially cut out stat bonuses.
But replace them with units that have 10% less stats than average! but give them non stat based bonuses such as (upgrade two buildings at once), which I'd rather have than a powerful unit.

Firstly this isn't a "room". But would you mind telling me why my plan won't work? I'm trying to solve a problem and you only seem to be adding to it.

Gree has no incentive to do such a thing.

Offer an absurd unit and watch people spend money to get it. Offer a medicore unit that bareley better than the one they already have...then whats the point of spending money on it (i understand whats the point of spending money on units today when tomorrow there is going to be units 10x better...but clearly most people dont)
