View Full Version : More Information Displayed on Main Knight Profile

I wish there was more information displayed in the profiles of our knights. The following small additions to the current three tabs would be a big improvement:
-Arena Tab: It's great to see medals displayed in profiles where someone finishes in the top 100, but how about something for the remaining 100,000+ players to distinguish rank? Display ribbon letter over the blue ribbon that is currently shown.
-Guild Tab: Instead of "Guild Medals" list wars and how the guild finished in that war. Or better yet, display each war and how many points were earned by the knight(so this can be tracked if knights change guilds). Average gold per week contributed would be nice as well, but that would probably be a bit harder to implement.
-Summary Tab: Similar to the arena tab, display ribbon/trophy next to each boss. Or something else such as damage done, rank #, etc...

Having an "inventory" would be nice. # of materials, keys etc

1. Why spend company rescources and employee time to show only a mediocre achievement.
2. with money directly affecting warpoint totals all this would tell you is if they spend during a war ,not if they are actually active and part of a team effort. Also would be too easy to inflate your spending solely for getting in to a guild. Remember Asshats like eunuchorn have wallets too.
Why not have gree sit down and interview the prospect for you?.
3. Why is epic boss dmg even a factor when friends and nemesis are so vital a part of them. Not to mention if
Someone decided to skip one due to owning that element / combo
Just a few flaws in your logic and you forgot the last one.
Why should you have any right to my data anyway.

It's obviously already there, one line of call code & it will show what type of ribbon it was.

So if we made our numbers readily available, people would know how much to outspend us. This pushes up my bottom line. Gree makes more money. Lets *not* interview this prospect with them. Also, he didn't say anything about why your war stats should be shown, nor does it matter. Total war points is total war points.
3.Summary- display ribbon/medal next to each epic boss fought..rank #

I don't know what to say here. wth is Paladineguru talking about? Someone woke up with their angry face on today.

I'd like to see the medal/ribbons that the guild has won displayed on the guild page, instead of just the number of elemental bonuses.

Kind of goes hand in hand with guild war points, but W/L for a knight would be a cool addition, also, adding each guilds overall W/L.

+1, They were at least nice enough to show us in the armour smith how many materials we have for each armour, but I think a more functional layout would be nice, I get tired of spending half a week (<--this is an exaggeration for the stupid out there) scrolling along to see how many more materials I need or when fusing armours, it'd be nice if identical armours stacked

Another downside to having one armory, if I'm crafting a basic, I can't see how many mats I have of anything else. A screen with all the icons in list format would have a nice visual affect. They're probably working on something like this but lots of links & layouts to program.
Actually, having a persons war W/L & not actual points would be less number spam & a slightly more meaning

Loking back I might not have been hostile enough. It appears he's basically whining for mediocre achievement recognition, a record of warpoints for each war for each person easily accessible which would with simple math tell him how much a person spends, which is neither indicitive of activity or suitabilityfor a team. Not to mention how much a person spends is never anyone's business. And showing the rank you got to on epic boss, cmon really...no one cares below top 25. Also he asked for these on each main knight profile... And I feel my right to privacy outweighs his lazy approach to gathering info on guild prospective recruits.

It appears he's basically whining for mediocre achievement recognition,
There already is recognition. You get a ribbon, the ribbons just aren't visually distinct from each other, which is silly. 99% of the user base gets only ribbons, so is a bit silly to have them all look the same.
Your complaint is akin to having a race and only allowing the winner to know his time, because nobody cares about the rest of the racers.

How much someone spends is the defining factor in guild wars. Seriously, its not about activity, its not about armors. Its about who can spend the most gems against opponents that their guild can curbstomp. So how many gems people spend most certainly is everyone elses business. We could show war points instead, but they're basically the same thing.
As to the epic boss thing, again, they're tracking it, so why not show us where we were? It would be useful to a lot of players to be able to look and see that they're getting further.
You basically sound like an entitled child. Everything is "these people aren't good enough. Who cares about them"

The achievements don't merit recognition, if you noticed our war rank I'm pretty sure I've got a basic understanding of how ribbons work. And how is me saying the current system is fine sounding entitled, it sounds like your the one who feels the need to stroke your ego and whine for recognition and if you can't remember where you placed on a boss just look in the end of your armory and do a little subtraction. Screenshots usually suffice for warpoints btw. Myself id rather keep it that way
As my girl also plays this game and I have no desire for her to do the math on what I spend guild warring two days before Valentine's day.
Myself Id rather see more content for lvl 100+ players than the current weekly boss, guild war, and grinding for armor leveling, maybe an expanded storyline or anything but the current grind between wars.

Yup, does indeed sound like someone woke up with an angry face. Its all a game, calm down.
The Epic boss: how easy would it be to just add a small number next to the bar for each boss? Not hard at all. And it saves everyone doing "a little subratction". Not everyone remembers what level gives how many epic boss items etc. They have the info, why is it so hard to get them to share it? When so many people are looking for anything to keep them hooked, why wouldn't they want people being able to say "woo, I got 5 more levels farther on the Epic boss this week... maybe if I had spent gems I could have gotten to 43..." See the possibilities?
Same with the Arena. I have a blue ribbon. Woooo. Is that for getting last or is that just under bronze? No idea. Just shows I participated. Why not throw in some wins/losses, final rank #, anything other than a blue "participation" ribbon. Again, all data that they already have, and would be nice to share.

Whilst I don't argue that given the choice I'd take more end game content over the suggestions presented here; I don't think you can justify dogging the ideas just because they don't suite your elitist views. In a game with many many thousands of players I think those people who don't empty their bank accounts every guild war so to speak deserve to be able to reflect on any achievement they may obtain even if the 'great Paladineguru' deems them unworthy or "mediocre" it's nice to have something to seperate you from the masses a bit if you've earned it and I think if you're not spending money you've actually genuinely earned it.
The only point you've made that is close to justifiable is guild war points giving the ability to more accurately calculate spending, not that I have an issue with it (you just have to look at my armour sets to know that if I had a financial planner they would be very displeased with me) but I can see how others would be concerned and embarrassed. But that is 1 single justifiable concern from what is a whole lot of ranting and raving.

I liked the guys idea of total W/L from all previous wars instead of point totals. That would be a fun number to see grow every war.
The other thing about all these suggestions is the data is already being stored. It wouldn't take much code to pull it. But they also have to do a full profile redesign to actually pull it into, & that would include all these changes & prob a listed icon inventory screen. Which ends up being a lot of code & is prob something they work on a little at a time on slow days.
